Revenging the loved one

Chapter 2

Legolas woke up and saw Aragorn was still asleep, curled tightly against him. He smiled and gently disentangled himself, moving away, careful not to wake him. He stood up and puts his clothes back on and sat down on a treetrunk nearby and watched Aragorn sleep. He felt a tremendous difference in himself after last night. He wanted to stay by Aragorn’s side today and through all the days and he would do anything to be able to make it so but he knew that could not happen because Aragorn loved Arwen. And no matter what happened the night before, he had no claim over Aragorn as Arwen did.

Aragorn awoke with a great sense of wellbeing and blinked his eyes. He noticed the space next to him was empty and thought /Was this all a dream ?/ He looked around with a frown but then smiled when he saw Legolas sitting on the treetrunk, watching him. He sat up straight, and looking into Legolas’ blue eyes said, "How long have you been awake?"

Legolas smiled and he walked over to him. He bent down in front of him and said, "Long enough. I have been watching you sleep" Then he straightened and walked away towards the little pile of rocks he had made earlier. He made a fire with the twigs and little branches he had gathered in the middle of that pile, and started preparing the morning meal with some slices of meat.

Aragorn just looked at him for a moment, then started getting dressed. After that, he walked over to Legolas and sat down beside him. His stomach gave a loud rumble when he saw and smelt the food cooking. Legolas laughed when he heard the sound and gave Aragorn a kiss. Aragorn smiled and said, "You should have woken me sooner, you know."

Legolas smiled and grabbing a plate, placed some meat slices on it and handed it to Aragorn. He said, "I know but you did look good when you are sleeping so I was enjoying myself, wing ing you sleep." Grabbing another plate, he put more meat slices on it for himself then sat down next to Aragorn and said, "I hope you like it"

Aragorn ate the food with pleasure, saying, "Legolas I didn’t know you could cook breakfast or any kind of meal, for that matter" He finished his food and looked up with a big smile at Legolas.

Legolas grinned and said, "Well, I never said I do not cook but I am not perfect at it either.” He finished off his food as well.

After their meal was finished, they lay back down to the ground and just looked at the sky, thinking about what happened the night before and where they were going from there.

Legolas broke the silence and said, "Aragorn, we need to talk." Sitting up, he moved his plate away and faced Aragorn.

Aragorn sat up and seeing the troubled look on Legolas’ face, set his plate away as well and took his hands in his. "You look troubled. What is it?"

Legolas held on to his hands tightly, sighing "Aragorn, what will happen now ? I know that you love Arwen. What will you do now? I will accept any decision that you make. If you should decide you want to be with Arwen, I wilceptcept your choice." And thought /Liar, you would miss him so much that you would die of grief./

There was a few minutes of silence as Aragorn contemplated what he said. Then, looking straight at Legolas, he broke the silence and said "Legolas, I feel so strongly for you and I don’t want to lose you but I also love Arwen. We must try to figure this out because I can’t lose you and I want you with me."

Legolas bit his lip, then shook his head and said, "Aragorn, my Heart, that is not possible and you know that. I cannot bear to live without you. But I don’t want you to love us both. Above all, Arwen would not like it."

Aragorn's heart was pounding and he thought /He's right. But I don't want to lose him. What was i thinking? Making love with him was a foolish thing to do./ He shook his head and said, "Legolas, I need to think about this. Right now I can’t think or talk about this.” He stood up and reaching for his empty plate, walked away.

Legolas stood as well and put a hand on his shoulder, stopping him. He moved around in front of Aragorn and gave him a gentle kiss. Pulling back, he said, "I will wait for you to decide." He took Aragorn’s plate from his hand, and together with his own, cleaned them and put them back into the saddle of Aragorn's horse. He turned back to Aragorn and seeing the trail of tears on his face, quickly moved towards him. He gently moved his thumb over his cheek, wiping away at the track of tears and said, "My Love, don’t cry. It will all come to a good end, I promise" He leaned towards Aragorn gave him a passionate kiss.

Aragorn smiled and kissed him back. After a few moments, they broke the kiss and he said, “Let's go. I think your father is probably wondering where you were last night.” He mounted his horse and looked at Legolas.

Legolas was looking around with a strange look on his face. His senses was screaming at him and he had felt something that he didn’t notice before. He looked at Aragorn and said, "You go on ahead. I shall join you shortly."

Aragorn saw the look on his face, looked around and then back at him and said, “What is it?” He knew the way Legolas was acting meant danger was near. There was no way he was going to leave Legolas to that danger alone. He started to get off his horse but stopped when Legolas walked to him and put his hand on his leg.

Legolas gently squeezed his leg and sought to reassure him, "It's alright. I promise. Now, go and I will follow shortly."

Aragorn hesitated but then he leaned down and gave Legolas one final kiss and rode off.

Legolas followed Aragorn with his eyes, then turned away and looked around once more and said, "Whoever you are, show yourself!" Silence answered him. His instincts told him there was someone out there, very close. He felt someone close behind him and fast as he was, before he could turn around, he felt someone strike him. There was a sharp pain in his head and he felt everything turn dark.

Haldir looked at Legolas sprawled on the ground and a smile came to his face. He picked Legolas up and tossing him over his shoulder, walked with him into the woods. When he was deep in the woods, he dropped Legolas onto the ground and taking out a rope from the bag he carried with him, tied Legolas’ wrists and then bound his feet together. After he was finished trussing Legolas up, he took a piece of cloth and gagged Legolas with it. To make sure that Legolas would be completely helpless, he took another piece of cloth and blindfolded him too. When he was done he stood there waiting for Legolas to regain consciousness.

Legolas slowly came to his senses and realized that he could not open his eyes because he was blindfolded. He didn’t understand what was happening. He realized that he was and wrists and feet were tied and he was completely immobile, and unable to say anything because of the gag. All he could do was lay there on the ground and wait for the person who did this to him to make his reasons known. His head pained him and he tried to move around to get a little comfortable despite being bound but his keen senses told him that the person who did this to him was there with him. He felt this person come up to him and startled when he felt his shoulder being gently stroked.. He wanted to speak but was able to only mumble through his gag.

Haldir smiled and said, "Don’t move, young one. I am not fini wit with you yet. You are mine and no one else shall have you but me." His smile widened and he gently moved his hand over Legolas’ cheek.

Legolas jerked his head away from the caress and prayed that Aragorn would come to help him, but he knew that Aragorn would not know what happened to him. He had to try to get himself out of this situation.

Haldir’s smile disappeared when Legolas jerked away from him. He stood up and said, "I watched you and Aragorn and I must say, I was truly not happy with what I saw. I will have to see to it that it will not happen again you you hear me, little one?"

Legolas felt a shiver run down his spine at the furious tone and shook his head. He gasp through his gag when he felt a stinging pain on his cheek from the slap that Haldir bestowed on his cheek.
