“Alright, Glorfindel,” Lindir said as he sat down next him on the bed. “Now I think I am owed an explanation.”
Glorfindel kept staring at his hands, twiddling his thumbs nervously. “About what?”
“Do not play ignorant with me! I only want to know what was going on in your mind.”
“It bothers you that much?”
“Of course! Glorfindel, do you have no idea how badly this all could have turned out? Do you not realize that Lord Elrond was beyond merciful for your deeds? Or maybe I should know whether you believe what you did to Erestor was wrong.”
“I do know what I did was wrong. But as for an explanation, I have none. Something came over me. I do not like it anymore than anyone else does. It was as if I was watching myself in a dream, knowing what I did was the wrong way to act, but not being able to stop it from happening. Does that make sense?”
“In a way. I think I understand what may have driven you to that, but it frightens me that you are capable of being such a… such a…”
“Jerk?”
“Yes, that is the word I was looking for, I believe.”
“I think we are all capable of being that way once in a while. It is never totally forgivable, but I am not alone in that flaw.”
“Well, as long as you promise me you will not be a jerk with me.”
“I do promise to do my best. And since we are on the subject of explanations and promises of changing, do you care to give me an explanation as to why you treated me the way you did?”
“What do you mean?”
“Lindir, why did you believe rumors over me? I thought you loved me.”
“I do.”
“And yet you do not trust my word over that of others.”
“I did not know what to believe. Glorfindel, you stopped talking to me a long time ago.”
“I did no such thing! We talk all the time!”
“Yes, we talk, but we do not at the same time. Every question I ask, you change the topic. Every concern I have you push away with no thought.”
“Because you let me.”
“What?”
“You let me. These are hard things to talk about and I do not take kindly to gossip. What you brought me was just that – gossip. It did not matter to me because I saw it as ridiculous. You did not, and I did not understand that. I believed our love for each other would shine through and you would eventually trust that my love was true. But you took the side of the gossips over mine.”
“Oh.”
“Promise me you will not listen to gossip any longer. If you have a concern, come to me. And do not let me pass it off as nothing. I do not want to go through this again, and I do not want to risk losing you. I have never felt so lost in all my life.”
“Lost? Why did you feel lost?”
“For the first time, I felt as if my love was not returned. I do not give my love easily. I have never given it to anyone but you. And through our relationship I have felt that your love was there. But then suddenly, I felt like I was alone in my emotion, that you did not share the feeling. And it was a horrible feeling, Lindir!”
The two elves sat for some time, just staring at each other. Finally, Lindir smiled and leaned in. Placing a gentle but quick kiss on Glorfindel’s lips, he stood. “I should go in for my bath before it gets too late.”
Glorfindel sighed. “Alright then. I will be here reading if you need me.”
Lindir walked off towards the bath, dropping his robes to the floor as his passed out of Glorfindel’s site. The sounds of the water filled the room for several moments, and then he could hear Lindir stepping inside.
“Glorfindel?”
“Yes, my love?”
“Are you not going to join me?”
Glorfindel’s eyebrows rose. “Join you? Of course!”
He tossed the book he had picked up across the bed, causing it to slide on the blankets and slip off the other end to the floor. Jumping up, he almost tripped on his own feet as he made his way to his love.
Catching site of Lindir in the water, Glorfindel could feel his heart quicken. He was sure his pulse could be seen through his tunic. Lindir giggled as he watched Glorfindel removing his clothing clumsily, hopping around the small room as he tried to remove his boots and remain standing at the same time.
Finally free of his clothing, Glorfindel stepped into the bath, lowering himself between Lindir’s legs. “This is much better.”
“Than what?”
“Than anything in the entire world!”
Lindir giggled. “You flatter me.”
“Flattery is not my strong point. Wanting a lovely piece of elf is!”
Lindir laughed and splashed water up at Glorfindel. “You have to get to me first!”
“Ah! Commence the water war!”
The two elves laughed hysterically as they splashed each other, all but emptying the bath all over the floor of the room. Lindir stood and stepped out of the bath, laughing as he sprinted back out to the bedroom. Glorfindel happily followed, knowing Lindir well enough to know he would soon let him catch him.
He caught him against the far wall of the room. Placing his hands on Lindir’s hips, Glorfindel bent down slightly to take the elf’s mouth in a hungry kiss. The smaller elf wrapped his arms around his neck as the kiss got dipper and more passionate.
Before he realized it, Lindir found himself on the floor with his legs around Glorfindel. He stared down at the elf sprawled under him and smiled. “Alright, I was wrong. THIS is better!”
“Oh, Glorfindel. Just do what you do best!”
“And what do I do best?”
“You know well enough!”
“Well, let us see. Do I do this best?”
He leaned down and kissed him again.
“Or do I do this best?”
Reaching between Lindir’s legs, he gripped his elfhood and began to slowly stroke him. He smiled as Lindir sucked in air in surprise and pleasure.
“Or maybe this?”
Sliding out from under Lindir’s legs, he slowly moved down his slender body. Stopping, he bent down and took his member into his mouth. Lindir gasped and arched his back as Glorfindel began the slow torture, working between his mouth and hands. Lindir could feel the carpeting ripping up as he gripped it hard, almost as if he would fall off the planet if he let go.
Just as he thought he would explode, Lindir let out a whimper of protest as Glorfindel’s ministrations ceased. “That,” he squeaked out.
“That what?”
“That is what you do best.”
“Really? But I have not yet finished with you! You cannot judge the act until it is complete!”
“Aye! Than let us finish before I explode!”
Glorfindel chuckled as he slid back up to meet his love’s eyes again. Lindir wasted no time in catching him in a leg lock again, eager to find his release. “You must release me for one moment.”
“Why?”
“I left the oil by the bed.”
“Oh, alright! But hurry!”
Glorfindel jumped up and jogged over to the bedside table. Finding the oil easily, he turned and looked at Lindir sprawled on the floor, his blonde hair fanned out beneath him. The beautiful site sent a shiver of excitement through his body as he jogged back and rejoined him on the floor.
“I wish I had a moment to sketch you like this,” Glorfindel whispered. “I would love to save this for eternity.”
“I would surely die from lack of attention while you sketched! And then what would you do?”
“Well, I would always have that picture and my hand…”
“Eww! Glorfindel! You cannot prefer that over me!”
“Of course not! But if you die from lack of attention, what else have I got?”
“You best make sure I stay alive then, no?”
“Mmm!”
Uncorking the bottle, Glorfindel breathed deep the scent of magnolias. Pouring some into his hand, he coated himself liberally with the oil, relishing the sensation and the look on Lindir’s face as he grew even more excited. A few more drops in his hand were enough to coat Lindir’s entrance and bring a squeal from him as he pushed himself down on his hand.
Removing his fingers from Lindir’s body, he crawled back between his legs, lifting them back into position as he did so. He moved slowly, pushing himself into his tight entrance until there was nowhere else to go. Lindir’s back arched again as waves of pleasure surged through his body.
It was not long before the two elves found release together, both crying out the other’s name.
Panting, Glorfindel rolled over and lay on the floor next to Lindir. They stared at each other for a long time, fingers twisted in blonde locks and looks of adoration being exchanged.
“Definitely do not know what I was thinking.”
“What are you talking about?”
“The next time you throw me out, I will not go. Nothing gets better than this.”
“Hopefully there will not be a next time.”
“There will not be. There is nothing out there beyond you. You are my world.”
“Good. But I will miss the make up sex.”
Glorfindel laughed. “Than we will have to take up sex for the thrill of it.”
“What are you planning?”
“Tonight, the floor. Tomorrow, the steps!”
“Glorfindel! Let us try to keep it in our rooms!”
“Where is the thrill in that? We should at least hang off the ceiling or something!”
“Then let me do the hanging. You would rip the beams down.”
“Would I?”
“I expect you to still do it!”
