eboreborn carried Heidi to his chambers not to the healing one she had rrecently inhabited. Laying her gently on his bed careful not to jostle her feet anymore then need be. He walked around the room lighting the bracers of candles and starting another fire in the hearth. Heidi watched him afraid to say anything lest he release his anger upon her. He was still angry about what those women had said after dinner. He sat next to her and took her hands into his, while he looked her in the eyes.

"Whats wrong?" she asked concerned.

"I could not protect you tonight. Not in the way you deserved. No one knew you were my bethrothed." he admitted guiltily.

"It wasn't your fault." she reassured him.

He nodded looklooked at her intently. "I want to get married here, soon. I love you and my family is all here now. would you consent to bonding sooner then anticipated?"

Heidi smiled while she leaned forward and embracing Celeborn. "Of course! Yes! I love you also!"

"You do know that once we are bonded you will be Lady of the Golden Wood right?" he asked gently

"No I really hadn't thought on it." she replied.

"You will be my equal, my partner. The Lady helps run affairs of state, manages the guardians, and is keeper of the Mirror." he explained.

"Mirror?" Heidi asked confused.

"It can tell the future. I will show you when we get back to Lorien." he kissed her softly on the lips.

"I love you." came the sleepy reply.

Celeborn smiled and laid her back on the pillows before he pulled a blanket over her. "I am glad. Now get some rest." he kissed her forehead as she fell into sleep. He quietly left to see Aragorn and Arwen so they could begin the preprations.

The next morning Heidi was awakened by Arwen and Densie coming into her room. Heidi was shocked to see Denise up and walking again and she said as much.

"Lord Elrond healed me." Denise said crypticly. "Whats this I hear about you and Celeborn getting bonded here?" she teased.

Heidi blushed "He brought it up last night and I agreed. I don't care about the when and where. I just want to marry him."

Arwen smiled. "Thats good because it's tonight."

"Tonight?" squeaked Heidi in shock.

Arwen nodded while opened the door when a knock sounded and Lord Elrond entered. Arwen sat down next to Heidi and Densie sat on the other side they prepared to hold her down if need be. Elrond knelt at her feet and removed her stockings before removing her bandages. He laid his hands on her feet and almost instantly she felt a warmth spread through her followed by a blinding pain. Heidi shreiked and tried to get away but Arwen and Densie held her down. Soon it was over and Elrond stood ad smiled down at her. He took her hands in his and gently pulled her upright then on her feet. She took a few small hesitant steps before the pain vanished completly.

"Diola lle Lord Elrond." she murmured gratful.

"Lle Creoso. I will see you later m'lady." he kissed her cheek before he left.

Arwen and Denise pulled her into the adjoining bathing chamber where they scrubbed her from head to toe. Then they took her back into the room and made her sit at the vanity. Arwen brushed and braided her hair as Denise rubbed perfumed oil all over her. She was yanked this way and that, powered and squeezed until they were satisfied. Motioning for her to stand Arwen retreived the bonding gown. It was a white, sleeveless affair with a gorgeous satin train, crystal beads were sewn on the bodice. Arwen and Denise helped Heidi into it before they stepped back smiling at her. Denise had her sit again so she could weave white roses into her friends hair after that Arwen fastened a see through veil over her hair. Heidi put on the necklace Celeborn had given her and she handed Arwen the circlet. It was fitted over the veil to hold it in place. Finaly after three hours she was ready. She looked at her friends and saw that they wore silver gown that were like hers only no train. She followed them down to the Great Hall where hundreds of guests sat waiting. Elrond stood at the front of the alter to officiate the ceremony below him him stood Celeborn, Aragorn, and Celeborn's sons. Arwen and Denise escorted her to where her beloved awaited. She had to remind herself to breathe and she could barely restrain herself from pinching herself. Denise took her hand and placed it in Celeborn's and he smiled encouragingly. They stood before Elrond where they said their vows and exchanged rings. They were silver and gold entwined to represent how their lives and souls were now intertwined. They then shared their first kiss as a newly bonded couple. Soon after the reception started they shared their first dance and they smiled at each other the whole time. Suddenly a shout came up from the crowd the Lady Arwen had gone into labor! Elrond scooped up his daughter and called for Celeborn's help. Celeborn kissed Heidi on the cheek before leaving to assist Elrond while Haldir and the twins kept Aragorn busy. Heidi was glad for Arwen but sad that her first night as a married woman she would be alone. As Legolas and Denise had snuck away to plan their wedding. Heidi slowly made her way to the stairs when Rumil stopped her.

"Join us in the sitting room m'lady. You do not have to be alone."

Heidi smiled and followed him to where the others sat with Aragorn.
