CH 19~A healing Spell from an Ancient time!

As she ripped from his arms, Legolas saw much sadness and devotion in Lady Jenny. Her reaction said it all as Orlando approached with her friend in his arms. He walked over to where he saw Lady Jenny drop to the ground in tears.
Legolas picked her up gently and whispered soothing words in her ear. He could feel how broken her spirit was as he placed her on the horse and quickly jumped behind her as the horse began to move.
Orlando carefully took Lady Chrissy in his arms as Lord Elrond had gently lifted her up on the horse.
Lord Elrond got up on the horse, “We must get Lady Chrissy to safety!” He stated as he commanded the horse to go fast. They all made there journey to Rivendell.
They were only riding for a few moments, Jenny said in shock, “Haldir likes me but he tried to make me jealous by kissing Chrissy. I tried to talk to her and we ran into some Orc’s, Haldir helped us!” She mumbled broken sentences.

Focusing on her words, “Haldir caused this mess between Lady Chrissy and Orlando? I will tend to him once I see him.” Legolas stated harshly.
Tears flew, “Chrissy killed one of the Orc’s. I have never seen her so determined to save us,” The tears seem to just pour, “She cut the Orc’s head off, I saw how her body was starting to give out and how she..” Jenny could not finish her sentence.
Legolas held tightly to the shaking body and knew the two had been through a torturous Orc attack.
Lord Elrond and Orlando decided that it would be best to stop because the bleeding on her head had gotten worse. They had already ridden several miles from the battle scene. If there had been more, Lord Elrond would have sensed it and rode in a different direction.
Orlando had gotten off the horse carefully with his lady in arms. He slowly took her body and gently laid her on the bedroll that Lord Elrond had laid out.
Lord Elrond made sure that Lady Chrissy was comfortable as he went over to where some of his Elven Medical supplies were kept. He pulled out some towels and some other herbal medicines. He also changed her shirt that had been ripped to shreds.
Orlando kissed her lips as he got up and walked over to the tree. He silently cursed himself for fighting with Haldir at that moment. He knew he should have got on another horse to go after Lady Chrissy.
He thought, “This would have never happened if it was not for my foolish pride over Lady Chrissy! Haldir is going to pay for this mishap!”
A tear streamed down his face as he remembered the way the Orc ripped her clothing off! Then he recalled what she told him before she slipped into a deep sleep. He could not believe how much he loved this woman in a short amount of time.
Legolas was about to help Jenny to get off the horse but she had jumped down before he had the chance to offer support. She ran over to where Lord Elrond had taken her friend and stopped dead in her tracks as tears flooded her face. She squatted down next to Chrissy as she touched her hand.
She thought, “This girl and I have been through a lot with each other! We were both adopted as children and obsessed over small things as we grew up!”
This was all getting to real for Jenny, as she knew her friend could have died today. It really hit home for her and maybe she should have listened to her friend today when she asked to go home.
She also remembered how Chrissy saved both of them today. She really thought not only about her life but also of Jenny’s life.
Jenny kissed Chrissy on the forehead and went over to where Legolas was sitting. She leaned against him for comfort as this seemed to help. Legolas had never seen this side of his lover before as he said soothing Elven words into her ear again.
He noticed her lip had a cut on it as the red blood had harden. He ripped part of his cloak, put some water on it and rubbed it gently over her lip.
“Thank you Legolas! I had forgotten that nasty Orc had slapped me and busted my lip open.” She stated as she smiled.
“You are quite welcome.” He answered as he reached over to claim a kiss.
Haldir had ridden back to where the battle took place between Lady Chrissy and the Orc. He also noticed a shiny object on the ground with a set of letters on it that Lady Chrissy sprayed earlier.
It had CM on it and he knew right away that this belonged to Lady Chrissy. He placed it in a small bag that was tied around his waste.
He knew that Jenny had been here as he saw her being binded by one of the Orc’s. He slowly shook his head as he knew that they both could have been dead today. He knew that Lady Chrissy was strong as she helped against two Orc’s and how quickly she thought on her feet.
Haldir started to get back on his horse when he looked down onto the ground and knew she had fallen hard by a blow of some sorts. He also saw the pool of blood that saturated the ground and a piece of clothing that had been torn. He felt a stinking pain in his heart as he knew that the Orc must have hit her hard and possibly violated her body.
He knew that everyone would be really angry with him for the unnecessary imprudence. He silently cursed himself for his behavior and just knew that Lady Jenny had put some sort of spell on him.
Haldir heard Lady Galadriel in his head speaking to him, “Haldir! You need to fix this by nightfall! I am coming to Rivendell to speak with the two Elven females. Please do not share this information with them, as they are not ready of the news. You will know when to repair this Haldir! Please do not run from it, as it will only rage the situation.”
Haldir got back on his horse and headed for Rivendell.
Meanwhile, Orlando had walked back over and made sure that Lady Chrissy was comfortable. He also placed his bedroll right next to her as if he could watch her for the rest of the night. Just in case if anything went wrong in the night. He then went to gather some things for the camp for the night.
He met Lady Jenny while walking as she told him what had happened. Orlando could not believe that Haldir was trying to make her Jealous, as it did not work.
Jenny and Orlando walked a little more and talked about his intensions for her friend. He was very opened to Jenny on how he felt about her friend. He told Jenny that he loved Lady Chrissy and for the first time he had felt whole.
Orlando had tears that flickered in his eyes as he told her that he would kill any one who violated her body as the Orc almost did today. He also stated to Lady Jenny that he hoped to bind himself to her one of these days.
Jenny replied, “You know, Chrissy is a hard gal to catch and to ask her to have that kind of commitment as what you’ve just told me,” Jenny paused for a moment. “It might scare her off. However, I do know that she has strong feelings for you. She has never really been in love, until now.”
Orlando listened to what Jenny had to say about her friend. He also took notice of how beautiful Lady Jenny was and he was glad to get to know her, as they have not had much time to spend together.

Legolas walked over and saw the fairly large bruise on Lady Chrissy’s head. He also noticed the large cut on her forehead as Lord Elrond placed more medicine over it and closed it back up. He winced at the thought of being in that much pain.
He also gazed upon the beautiful maiden his brother had chosen. He reached down and noticed that she was healing faster then a human should be at this point.
Legolas was going to ask Lord Elrond how the young maiden was fairing and ask how she was healing so fast. Before Legolas could ask Lord Elrond, he had left to speak with Orlando and Lady Jenny.
Legolas knew that she had been out for several hours and wondered if she would make it through this terrible disaster. He then snapped out of his thoughts when he heard her saying something in her restless sleep.
Chrissy mumbled in her sleep, “Get your hands off of me, you Nasty Orc!” She tossed around trying to get away from it.
Then her eyes popped open and she was unaware of her surroundings as she scurried around to get off the ground. Legolas hurriedly tried to contain her by getting on her level to hold her down on the ground. She began to scream as she fought him.
Haldir had heard in the distance the camp that his friend set up for the night. He rode over and knew that it was time to make peace with what he had done.
Lord Elrond was walking as he heard a voice in his mind, “Lord Elrond, please help Haldir make peace with the others. This should not have happened, as Elves do not feed off there emotions. Please be aware that I arrive on the fifth sunset to Rivendell.” Lady Galadriel stated.
Lord Elrond knew that Haldir was around earlier as he saw the arrows that he used to bring down the other Orc’s. He also knew that Haldir had to wrong his rights and he would be here shortly to amend them.
“Get away from me!” Chrissy screamed while trying to break away from Legolas’s grip.
Legolas whispered, “You are safe, Lady Chrissy. This I promise you, fair maiden.”
Chrissy turned her head to realize that it was Legolas as she clasped in his arms and began to cry softly. Legolas sat there and held on to the terrified female. He had recalled when he had calmed her down before.
His thought, “Something is different about her...I smell my brother all over her body…she has given him…Oh…there is something else strange about her condition.” (He got distracted)
Sniffling as she recomposed herself, “Thank you, Legolas. I never really realized how dangerous coming here might be. You truly are a sweet Elf!” She stated while pulling away.
Legolas got up as he saw Lord Elrond and Orlando in the distance. He knew that his brother was rather upset of the current situation and pulled away. He did not want him to think that he was trying to take his place by comforting his maiden.
Not to far away, Lord Elrond had joined the others as they heard the trembling screams that came from Lady Chrissy. They all looked at each other and ran to where they left her lying.
Orlando saw in the distance that Lady Chrissy was awake as his brother was comforting her with his arm around her. A ping of jealous hit his heart, as he knew that should have been him.
Jenny smiled as tears rolled down her face to see her friend awake from the terrible blow to the side of her head. She was the first to make it over as she dropped down to her knees.
With much happiness, “Girl, don’t you ever do that to me again! You scared me!” She leaned over and hugged her best friend!
Chrissy smiled as she heard Jenny’s voice. She longed to speak to her about what happened, as she knew that her friend would fill her in on every detail.
Jenny pulled away as Chrissy smiled at her friend who was probably going crazy with her current condition.
Trying to comfort her, “You are so funny, you know where going to die together as two old ladies!” Chrissy tried to giggle as pain swept over her head.
Orlando and Lord Elrond smiled as the two old friends hugged. They finally arrived just in time to see the both them talking and giggling.
That soon ended as Lord Elrond got worried when he saw her lay down and began to scream in pain. He walked over as Jenny was trying to giving her something.
Chrissy lay down on the bedroll as the pain hit her over and over. Each time was worse then the one before. She began to wince in pain as tears streamed down her face once again.
Terror in her voice, “Jenny, I need for you to come here!” She screamed as another wave hit her head.
Jenny tried to console her, “I’m here, Chrissy,” She remembered something in her bag, “I can get some Tylenol from my bag.” She stated in a panic.
Lord Elrond motioned from Lady Jenny to move so he could attend to Lady Chrissy’s agonizing state.
She protested, “NO! I need her! You move away!” Chrissy said rather forcefully.
Lord Elrond moved away at her command and knew that there was a reason why she would not let him assist her in the condition.
Chrissy motioned for her to come closer. “Remember when we were 10 and I had fallen out of the tree?”
Confused by her question, as she answered, “Yes, but why are we talking about that?” Jenny asked rather curious.
Another painful wave hit her head, “Damn this hurts! Remember when you grabbed my hand because you were scared and we said those words to heal my broken ankle.”
Jenny rationalized, “Yeah, I remember. I was so stinking scared. (She paused) you want to try that again? We were 10 and believed anything was possible.”
With a command in her tone, “Yes, we still can! Give me your hand!” Chrissy said.
Jenny hesitated for a moment and then slowly put her hand in her friends.
Chrissy concentrated on the blow to her head and soon Jenny’s thoughts were in tune with her own.
Lord Elrond gasped at what the two were doing as he could not believe that there were using this ancient magic.
He thought, “This is a special gift that there mothers used on the sick.”
Orlando and Legolas walked over to Lord Elrond as they wondered what the two women were doing.
Legolas asked, “What sort of magic is this? I have never seen this kind of healing before.”
Lord Elrond explained, “Orlando and Legolas, the two women you see before you are very special. They are from two of the ancient tribes that were over turned by Orc’s. These particular Elves had the gift of healing and were peaceful nation. ”
Orlando gasped, “Do the two Maidens know that they are Elves?”
Lord Elrond answered, “Nay, the two are under a spell that Chrissy’s mother, Queen Sainalinde Lissesul, placed under both females. Lady Galadriel knows how to reverse the spell as she will be meeting us in Rivendell in a few days.
Orlando’s eye rose, “What are you speaking about? You knew Lady Chrissy’s mother, Queen Sainalinde Lissesul? I thought that particular Queen was just a tale. However, if what you say is true, she must have been here before in Middle Earth?” He stated with many questions.
Placing his hand on Orlando’s shoulder, “Aye, Prince Orlando Greenleaf, foster son of King Thranduil, all your answers will be found soon and even some unexpected truths will be revealed. Lady Galadriel visits Rivendell by the fifth sunset and she can enlighten us all.” Lord Elrond answered.
When the two women were finished, they both fell to the ground as it had taken all of there strength to heal the head wound. Before Jenny hit the ground she turned and smiled at Legolas. She mouthed something to him that he did not expect.
Jenny was about to give into the darkness when she turn and saw Legolas standing there.
She thought, “I am falling in love with him.”
Mouthing these words, “I love you.” With silence in her breathe.
A tear slid from Legolas’s eyes as he watched her fall to exhaustion. He rushed over to help make her comfortable.
He whispered in her ear, “And I love you too, my sweet Maiden.”
Orlando heard what his brother had said to Lady Jenny as he walked over, “My dear brother, I did not know you were capable of loving a female? What happened to being free as the wind?”
He grinned, “One knows when a good thing walks into your life and I do not wish to let this one slip by me. I love this maiden and I will do everything in my power to keep her, even if I have to lose my kingdom.” Legolas answered.
Orlando knew his brother was telling the truth as he saw the love in his eyes. He also knew that what his brother was feeling for Lady Jenny, he was also feeling for Lady Chrissy.
Legolas placed Jenny on a bed roll a few feet away from Lady Chrissy. He began to lie down next to her as he intended to watch her sleep. Lord Elrond was closed by when he walked over to watch the sleeping Maidens.
Questions filled his mind, “How long will the two females be a sleep?” Legolas asked Lord Elrond.
Responding to his question, “A few hours for Lady Jenny, however, I am not sure about Lady Chrissy. She maybe out longer because her body is still healing itself. This drains the energy out of the Elven body and if you do not use this gift often it may take several days.” Lord Elrond answered.
Lord Elrond walked over to Lady Chrissy and touched her forehead where the scare used to be.
He thought, “It has healed quite nicely. I wonder where they learned to use this gift. I shall ask her when she awakens.”
Orlando saw how Lady Chrissy grew with fever, so he decided to walk down to the stream. He put some water in a small metal container and walked back. He reached in his bag and pulled out a small towel. Next he placed the water it and placed it on her forehead.
Lord Elrond heard someone approach the camp and walked over to the clearing to see who it could be. In the distance, he saw Haldir and knew that he had come to make amends with Legolas and Orlando.
This would take some time as both brothers would give Haldir a hard time about the incident.
Aware of his presence, “Haldir, of the Golden Woods, is that you that fair in the distance?” Lord Elrond asked.
Coming down from the trees, he answered, “Aye, it is I, Lord Elrond of Rivendell,” as he bowed.
His eye brow rose in concern, “You know this will be tough to make amends with Prince Legolas and Prince Orlando?” Lord Elrond questioned.
He smiled, “Thus is true, mighty Lord Elrond. However, I must find away. Lady Galadriel will have my head if I do not obey her wishes.” Haldir stated.
Lord Elrond knew that this was true because she had contacted him earlier today.
Placing his hand on his shoulder, “I need for you to go to Rivendell and speak to Arwen on Lady Galadriel’s arrival. All of us will follow in a few days. However, it will be slow on getting there as I do not know when Lady Chrissy will awaken.” Lord Elrond asked.
Haldir did what Lord Elrond had asked and he rode fast in Rivendell. Lord Elrond walked back to camp when Legolas approached him.
Sensing someone else, “Lord Elrond, to whom were you speaking too?” Legolas asked.
Hesitant on his answer, “It twas Haldir, of the Golden Woods, please do not go after him. Haldir is to meet all of us in Rivendell in a few days,” Legolas was about to start running but he was restrained by Lord Elrond’s grip, “Please hear out this wise old Elf before you do something foolish. Haldir will make amends with you and Orlando in a few days. Accept his apologies and move on with Lady Jenny.” Lord Elrond stated.
Legolas knew what Lord Elrond said was true and that he could possibly move on. However, he was not sure if his brother could move on from this mess.
Orlando went in search of his brother and Lord Elrond when he stumbled upon a conversation between the two. It infuriated him to know that Lord Elrond wanted him to make amends with Haldir and he broke into the discussion.
Anger filled his voice, “Why should I forgive, Haldir? If it was not for his doing, thus would have never taken place.” Orlando said sternly.
Lord Elrond turned as he walked towards Orlando, “You must find the forgiveness deep within your soul to make Amends with him. Haldir will be needed in the end, you will see, Prince Orlando. Now gather Lady Chrissy and Lady Jenny as we ride to Rivendell tonight!”
Orlando and Legolas did as Lord Elrond commanded. They picked up the sleeping bodies one by one as they were lifted up onto the horse. Finally, Lord Elrond cleaned up the camp and headed towards Rivendell.
Haldir rode fast to make it to his destination. He kept thinking about what it would be like to confront the two brothers about his awful mistake. He also thought about Lanwe and how she was doing.
Lanwe was riding when she stumbled upon the dead Orc’s and knew that something terrible had happened. She got down off her horse and walked over to where a shred of clothing was on the ground.
She picked it up as the smell of Lady Chrissy was all over the small material. Blood squirts were all over it and for some reason she felt a stinking pain in her heart for the young woman.
She thought, “If Orlando looses her…he will blame me…”
Lanwe got back on her horse and headed for Rivendell to find out what happened to Lady Chrissy. She rode hard to get there before anyone else and several hours had pasted until she reached Rivendell.
When Lanwe had arrived at the gates, she was greeted by Lord Elrond’s Merchwarden, “What brings you to Rivendell, Lady Lanwe?”
Lanwe answered, “I have business with Lady Arwen, please take me to her immediately.”
The Merchwarden replied, “As you wish, Lady Lanwe.”
Lady Lanwe was escorted onto the Rivendell grounds, as the two walked they approached Lady Arwen as she sat on the terrace.
Arwen had just sat down to read a letter from Aragorn when she was interrupted by her Merchwarden. She glanced up and saw Lady Lanwe walking towards her onto the Terrace.
Lady Lanwe smiled, “Lady Arwen it has been so long. How are you?” as the two hugged.
Arwen hurriedly got up out of her chair as she felt an embrace from her long time friend, “I am quite fine, Lanwe. What brings you back to Rivendell?”
Lanwe replied, “I am not sure why I am here…I am tired from my journey, Arwen. May I rest before we talk?”
Arwen was confused for a moment, “If that is what you wish, then I shalt have one of my hand maidens escort you to your chambers,” as she motioned for one of the servants.
Lanwe replied, “Thank you so much, Arwen, you are so kind,” as she walked with her hand maiden.
Arwen smiled at Lanwe as she exited the Terrace. However, she thought it was strange that she Lanwe did not mention why she was here. Nonetheless, Arwen got back to her letter from Aragorn.
Time had slipped by and he was now on Rivendell soil. He approached the gates and dropped his horse off at the stables. Arwen was in the garden reading as Haldir stumbled upon her presence. She looked up from her book to notice Haldir walking towards her in the distance.
She smiled, “Aye, Haldir of the Golden Woods. What brings you to Rivendell?” Arwen asked.
They hugged for a few moments as Arwen noticed the smell of her father clinging to his garments and knew he had news to share. He also smelled of Orc blood and sweat from a long journey.
Haldir began to speak, “My Lady Arwen, I have news from Lord Elrond. He will be arriving in a few days. However, Lady Galadriel comes to visit Rivendell at sunset. She has great news of two female companions that rides with your father, Prince Legolas and Prince Orlando from the Mirkwood forest.”
Arwen let the news soak in for a moment before she answered. “I have missed my grandmother, Lady Galadriel for quite sometime. Thus is wonderful news and the two female companions, I have foreseen there company in my dreams for quite some time now.”

Haldir was quite tired and Arwen sensed his strength needed rejuvenating. She escorted him to his room so he could freshen up and rest. She had guests that were coming and needed to be ready for them when they arrived.
Lady Galadriel approached the city of Rivendell with two twin Elven riders at her side. She gazed upon the lovely mountains as it hid the city from wondering eyes. She could not wait to be greeted by her granddaughter, Arwen. There reunion would be a special meeting as she missed her very dearly.
When she finally arrived at the gates, in the distance she saw Arwen waiting for her in the usual spot. Arwen ran up to her grandmother, hugged and said to her how much she had been missed.
Arwen had shown her grandmother to her room for the night. However, Lady Galadriel asked her not to leave just yet. The two sat around and talked for a while before heading off to bed.
While riding for several hours Jenny began to come around and she opened her eyes to see a beautiful scene. It was almost as if she was looking at a painting. The city of Rivendell was breath taking and Jenny had never seen anything like it.
Gazing down at Jenny, “I see that you are a wake, my love.” Legolas stated observantly.
She smiled up at him, “Yes, I am awake. How is Chrissy? Last time we did that healing spell was when we were 10. I don’t remember falling asleep for that long.” Jenny stated in a raspy voice.
Legolas answered, “Your friend is still asleep. Lord Elrond said that she maybe a sleep for a few days.”
