The Fire Dance

Authors Note: My boss scheduled me 8 days in a row before I go on
vacation to go to Georgia for Dragon Con...I am going to try and get
another chap out before my vacation but there are no guaranties. I
will be gone Aug 31-Sept 9th, Snooky and I are driving down to Georgia
for the Convention and then I will be busy speaking on the fanfiction
forums (Gen & Slash) with other writers...I will have my laptop with
me and will make entry's to my Live Journal, but I will more then
likely not have time to write...though I will resume The Fire Dance once
I get back and have a day off...I'm excited to go and be involved with
Dragon Con, but the no posting is gonna make me nuts! HA!...I hope
this made sense *Grin*...In case anyone is interested, this is the

Ch176

One month had passed.........


Erestor gasped as Glorfindel picked him up and flung him over his
shoulder like a sack of potatoes "Put me down this instant!"


"Nay! You are Mine and I am removing you from this library!"


"Glorfindel!"


"T'is good that you know my name! You will be using it Alot tonight!!"


Arriving at their chamber, the dark adviser grunted when he was
roughly put on his feet "Findel what is going on!", then looked around
"Where is Glorion...and where is Torfindel and Taurath"


The golden warrior locked the main door, then slowly turned back
around "I sent Gwee and Taur away for the night...as well as Glorion"


Erestor blinked when he saw the evil grin on his husbands lips, then
backed a step "You...you sent Glorion to Orophin and Lindir's for the
night?"


Glorfindel shook his head as he stalked forward "Nay, he is still to
young for me to feel comfortable leaving him there"


Backing up another step, Erestor cleared his throat as he scanned the
room "Then where..."


Glorfindel arched his brow as he slowly reached out and grabbed a bowl
"Trust me Rabbit, I left him with a very, very capable warrior"


Erestor's eyes widened when he glanced at what his husband had picked
up "Oh nay! Nay Findel not the honey covered strawberry's again!"


"Aye! Prepare for battle!"

Tulkas smiled as he bounced Glorion on his knee "So little one, what
shall we do tonight?"


"Ba! Babababa ne...nelya ada!"


"Awww, what a sweet thing for you to say!"


"Eeeee...nelya ada!"


Tulkas reached up and wiped his eyes, then took a deep breath "Oh if
only I could keep you little one!"

"Aiyah! Do not sneak up on me like that Manwe!"


Little Glorion looked at the new being that had joined them and
instinctively blinked in awe "Oooo!"


Manwe arched his brow as he crossed his arms over his chest "So, this
is the little life that sputtered BlackSpeach ay?"


Tulkas cuddled him close "He was just making sounds, he did Not know
what he was saying!"


"Let me hold him"


"Nay!"


Manwe narrowed his eyes "Tulkas"


The Valar of war sighed as he held his little friend out "Fine"


After being placed in the great Valar's arms, Glorion bounced and
reached back for Tulkas "Nelya ada! Nelya ada!"


Manwe arched his brow as he shook his head "You like Tulkas ay? I
think you are very wise, for he is a good friend to have"


"Bababa....Oooooo"


Handing Glorion back, Manwe smiled when the little elfling cuddled
into Tulkas's neck and purred like a kitten


"I will leave now, you have a pleasant evening with the little one. Oh
and Tulkas, remember...he is Not yours"


"I know that Manwe, but I got to name him and he calls me his Third
Ada...he is in my heart, we are connected"


"Mmm...goodnight my friend"

Taurcalad sighed as he entered the inner garden, then dropped his
satchel and mumbled "I never realized how Long a month can be", then
turned and headed for Thoniel's chamber and knocked


Thoniel slowly opened the door, stepped back to let him in, then shyly
smiled "You are back"


Taurcalad tilted his head "Are you...are you wearing one of My
loincloths?"


The young healer blushed and he whispered "Aye...I...I missed you"


"You did?"


"Aye"


Taurcalad slowly pulled him close "You look lovely in a loincloth with
your hair lose my dear"


Thoniel lightly trembled in his arms "I...I do not want you to leave
again, saes, do not go...st...stay here with me? Hold me like you did
the night before you left on patrol?"


The warrior swallowed hard "What are you saying Thoniel"


The young healer took a deep breath "I have been seeing Thorvel and
Thoron daily and...and they have been helping me understand my
fe...feelings. I truly enjoyed your holding me and regardless of our
past, I felt warm and safe in your arms...saes, I know you are a
warrior and border patrol is part of that butmmph!..."


Taurcalad wrapped his arms around him as he seized his lips, then
moaned as Thoniel slowly relaxed in his arms. Finally pulling back for
air, Taurcalad nodded as he whispered "You truly want me to hold you
tonight?"


Thoniel nodded into his chest "I am still frightened but...but aye, I
want you to hold me like you did before"

Thranduil smiled as he pulled Elrond into his arms "That is a Big step
for Thoniel"


"Aye, his speaking with Vel and Ron daily and Taurcalad's absence for
a month opened his eyes"


Thranduil smirked "So when Glorfindel brought you the duty roster, did
He have Taurcalad posted at the border? Or did You make some...changes"


Elrond sighed as he laid back, then made himself comfortable "I need
to get some rest Thran"


The Mirkwood king snorted as he shook his head "Mmhmm, well I think
that is a good idea, you will probably need to be in the healing wing
early in the morning"


"Why?"


"I saw Findel in the kitchen earlier, he had a bowl of strawberries
and honey"


Elrond rolled his eyes as he pulled the covers up over his head and
groaned "Wonderful"
