Part 18

Part 18…

Lindir sighed and snuggled deeper into the luxurious pillows that graced Elronds bed. He had spent the last two hours in the half-elfs bathing chamber being spoiled, pampered and loved. After Elrond had lathered him up and soothingly washed his hair he had applied himself to removing chocolate mousse from his lovers nether regions and ended up getting Lindir all worked up and excited again in the process. This had resulted in another bout of love making, only this time it was much slower, filled with gentle touches, stoking hands, long sweet kisses... and oil as a proper lubricant. Afterwards Elrond had bundled him up in fluffy towels and dragged him over to the fire where he had brushed, dried and braided his hair, Lindir returning the favor when he was finished. Now he was nestled in the large comfortable bed of Imladris’ Lord as his lover walked about the room extinguishing candles. Smiling lazily as Elrond approached he lifted the covers and edged over slightly to make room in the very center of the bed that he had been monopolizing. Shifting about he eventually settled again, this time pressed tightly into the naked warmth of his love, tender arms wrapped around him. Nuzzling into the crook of Elrond shoulder he breath in the clean scent of freshly washed skin and let out a breathy little sigh of contentment. Swallowing the words of love that were bubbling up inside him he instead drifted off into reverie, not wishing to ruin the tentative relationship that had sprung up between them with misplaced declarations that Elrond probably did not want to hear.

“Erestor?” It had been several minutes since Glorfindels declaration and Erestor had yet to say anything in response. He seemed to have overcome his shock and had taken to staring mutely into the fire, turning the fish to prevent burning, and steadfastly avoiding the blondes’ inquisitive gaze. “Have you nothing to say Erestor?”

“I do not know what to say Glorfindel. You have suddenly declared that you want me, for all eternity no less, and I am suppose to have a ready response?” Erestor sighed, regretting the sharp tone he had spoken in. “Forgive me, I am just… surprised… overwhelmed. I have dreamed of something like this happening for centuries, minus the wilderness and fish of course, and now that it has actually occurred I am afraid to believe that it is anything more than a dream.”

Lapsing back into silence Erestor checked the fish and finding them to be ready for consumption, removed them from the fires heat and set them on the dirt packed ground to cool slightly. Flicking his gaze to meet concerned blue orbs, he smiled thoughtfully. “I just need time to think.”

Glorfindel nodded and sidled closer, under the guise of selecting one of the cooked fish and the two elves sat in companionable silence as they ate, both staring thoughtfully into the crackling fire as the light died about them and the sounds of the forest night life echoed about them.
