Green is the first thing I notice as the cold and the numbness slowly fade from my limbs. Two incredible pools of worried green.
"Sean..." I cannot stop the sigh and I know I must be grinning like an idiot. When did things get so complicated? I frown. Wait, I know the answer to that. When I tried to do something about it. That's usually when things get complicated or fucked up.
"Viggo? Please tell me what is wrong?"
Helplessly I stare at Sean, clutching my hurting stomach.
"Viggo! Please stop this manic laughter! What is the matter with you?"
"I'm an idiot," I gasp, slowly sitting up, "Even worse, I'm an idiot in love." Oh great, I groan inwardly. I just managed to shut him up again. And there's that strange look in his eyes again.
"Sorry," I mumble,"I don't know what's come over me."
"Peter wants you to turn up at the set tomorrow," he says, "And he told me to tell you to get things sorted out."
Why is he looking so hurt again? Can't he see how hilarious things are? "I'm sorry," I manage finally as the worst of my laughing fit is over, "This is just too strange... sorry...."
"How are you feeling?"
"Lightheaded," I admit, startled at what I read in his eyes. It can't be. Not after everything I did.
"Come," he says, and strong arms suddenly encircle my waist, lifting me from the ground and leading me towards the bedroom. It's not exactly as I imagined this scene, but it is better than noting. I relax into the warmth around me, deeply inhaling his scent. It's even more intoxicating than any incense could ever be. Strong, gentle arms around me. Sean is holding me as I insecurely set a foot in front of the other. Suddenly I am calm. Calm and relaxed. Even my breathing slows down. I'm in Sean's arms, I am finally safe.
