I do not own the Lord of the Rings (and associated) book series, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.

Disclaimer: I don't own anything even remotely connected to Tolkien's universe, and will not profit from this writing in any way. Seriously - I won't get a single, solitary nickel. Not even a coupon for fifty cents off a diet Coke. It’s pathetic.
A/N: Due to popular demand, and threats of violence against my person, I have chosen to add an epilogue to this story.

Filling Santa's ShELVES - A Twisted Christmas Story
Epilogue
One year later…
The two riders reined in their horses at the edge of the Golden Wood. The first rider jumped down gracefully from his horse, landing lightly on his feet. He walked swiftly around the beasts to help the second rider down, taking first the bundle from the rider's arms, cradling it carefully in his own.
Together, they led the horses into the mallorns, walking slowly, eyes searching the trees for the Guardians they knew would be watching.
"Halt! Who seeks entrance into the Golden Wood?" called a deep voice from somewhere to their left.
"It is Legolas and Geshi, of Mirkwood," the rider called back, instantly halting, a step ahead of his companion.
"Legolas! It has been too long!" called another voice. Rumil melted out of the brush to embrace his old friend. "Geshi! You look well…Ayaz will be thrilled that you are here!" He smiled broadly, his eyes lighting on the bundle Legolas carried. "What is this?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.
Legolas' grin of pride spread across his handsome features, as he peeled back the coverings of the bundle, exposing the pink, soft cheek of his daughter. "This is Ascatuora…we call her Cat, for short."
Rumil grinned, smacking Legolas on the shoulder. "Now I know what you were doing in the laundry room, don't I?" he laughed. Geshi blushed, but Legolas merely grinned back at him.
"Come," Rumil said. "You must be tired from your journey, and I know the others will want to see you. Haldir is at home - he had his turn at the fences end last month, and Orophin has taken a short leave to be with Gish and the babies."
They entered Caras Galadhon by noon, and word had spread of their arrival. Reaching Haldir's overly large talan, the voices of several Elflings could be heard from within. "Ada! They're here! They're here!"
"Shh…you'll wake your sister, little ones!" Haldir voice could be heard to gently admonish them. Three Elflings burst out of the talan, throwing themselves at Legolas and Geshi.
"Malibu Barbie! G.I. Joe! Mattel!" Legolas cried happily, hugging them with one arm, still carefully holding his daughter with the other. "How you've grown since last we met!"
"I’m Foroddan, now…" G.I. Joe proudly proclaimed. "Ada gave us all new names." Pointing at Malibu Barbie and Mattel, he said, "and this is Alphloss and Celebloss."
After arriving in Arda a year ago, it was discovered that some of the Elflings' parents had indeed been unable to cope with the loss of their children, and had chosen to sail West. Many of these orphans had been placed with other families, where they adjusted with amazing resiliency, but Elur had been heartbroken at the thought of leaving these three behind with other families. Unable to deny her anything, Haldir had found himself father to three, before his own child was even born.
Haldir peeked his silver-maned head out from the talan door, waving at the two travelers. "I'll be right out…Elur is just waking the little one from her nap."
A moment later, both new parents walked out to greet Legolas and Geshi. Haldir looked shocked at the baby snuggled in Legolas' arms, and smirked as he said, "Couldn't stand to be left out, could you Wood Elf?"
Legolas laughed, giving Haldir a one armed hug, while Elur and Geshi embraced.
"Orophin will soon be here no doubt, with Gesh and the twins. I still can't believe he has both a son and a daughter!" Rumil laughed. "I will go get Ayaz and my son, and we can have a proper reunion!"
The End.
Really…no fooling this time.
