CH 15. Larien’s room
Stunned Chrissy said, “I know this room.”
Chrissy walked over to the dresser and picked up a brush that was silver with Green stones embedded into the back of it. She knew her mother had given this brush to her when she was small. She didn’t say anything, stared into the mirror and started brushing her hair. She remembered the way her mother would come in and brush her long honey, curly hair.
Arwen walked over and pulled out the chair and said, “Sit down, and let me help you.”
Chrissy gave her the brush and Arwen stood there brushing her sister’s hair.
Arwen said, “Let me see what we can do with this honey blonde hair of yours.”
Arwen pulled it up the hair and left a few curl’s hanging down beside the sides of her face. Arwen pulled out a silver crown in place it around the head. She gasped at the silver crown that looked as if he belonged to her and it made her complete.
Arwen said, “You look beautiful, my darling sister.”
In a complimenting voice, Chrissy replied, “Yes it’s very nice, but you are by far, more beautiful then me.”
Arwen was surprised of such a compliment for she had never compared their beauty as she thought they were equally as beautiful.
Now aggravated Arwen said, “ Do not compare our beauty for we came from the same mother and father, so we are identical in beauty.”
Chrissy agreed with Arwen and told her that she would not compare them again. They moved to where the half wall was to try on some dresses that Arwen picked out.
Arwen said happily, “Let’s try this one, with the hunter green and the velvet belt went around thist.ist.”
Chrissy tried it on and knew that this was her favorite dress at one point in time. The dress was so pretty, the way the sleeves hung down to her hands, the gown felt like pure silk against her body. Then Arwen gave her the matching slippers that went with it.
Chrissy put the slippers on, came out and said, “I love this color! I know that this was one of my favorite dresses.”
Arwen laughed and said, “Aye, it still is your favorite dress I see.”
They both put the finishing touches on and were about to leave to dinner when they heard a knock on the door. Chrissy went over and opened the door. Legolas was there to escort his elegant lovely lady to dinner.
Legolas said suavely, “My, your beauty is so captivating, as well as yours, fair Arwen.” He reached down and kissed both of there hands.
Chrissy face turned pink and said, “I guess you will have to escort both of us.” Legolas was delighted to escort both females to dinner.
Chrissy made a comment that made both of them laugh. She said amusingly, “What will everyone think when Legolas comes in with two beauties on his arm?”
Arwen agreed saying, “I am sure that it will be entertaining to see on everyone’s faces!”
All three made a grand entrance, faces turned as they walked into the dining area. Lord Elrond walked over to find his two daughters on either side of Legolas.
Lord Elrond said, “You look refreshed and mightdd, dd, magnificently exquisite!” Chrissy blushed when Lord Elrond said this compliment.
Not wanting to leave Arwen out, Chrissy said, “Arwen looks very stunning as well!”
Lord Elrond said, “You are right! Let me not forget you, Arwen. You are as equally as beautiful!”
Modestly Arwen smiled and said, “Ada, I know, you’ve told me since birth, its Chrissy turn to be lavished with compliments.” Arwen held no jealous, only love for her sister.
