Elladan´s heart pounded so rapidly as to leave him without breath
momentarily, stopping at the hearing of the click which was supposed to
unlock his father's study door. Staring impatiently at the door knob, he
saw it moved and then the elf behind the oak door finally opened it to
step out.

A heavy and disappointed sigh escaped his lips as he remembered to
breathe again.

"Something happened?" Elladan asked, trying to sound casually worried.

"No, I was only talking to Ada and Erestor." Elrohir declared with his
usual happy, musical tone of voice.

"Why was the door closed?" The oldest twin inquired puzzled as he and
his brother stepped down the corridor to the Halls of Fire.

"Ah,... I don't know... I used the other one to go in." Mumbled the
younger elf anxiously. He would have to learn how to lie from time to
time. Sometimes it WAS necessary to be good at it. Elladan was right
about that.

"Was Erestor alright?" The question sounded more anxious than Elladan
had meant it, but his brother seemed to be lost in his momentary
appreciation of Glorfindel working on his maps. "He asked where you
were..." Elladan offered once they had passed the library door unnoticed
by the working blond elf.

"He did?" Elrohir could not help but beam with joy at his twin's
statement. "When?".

"When I went back to the library. Elrohir?..." Elladan interrupted his
question, when he started to bite his lower lip in worry.

"What?" Elrohir asked as he dropped himself next to the cosy fire
burning in the middle of the practically deserted room.

"You never answered my question."

"Sit." The younger elf ordered whilst pulling his brother's sleeve as he
usually did when he wanted Elladan to follow his moves. "What question?"

"If you believed Glorfindel and Erestor might have been lovers in the
past."

"No, they were not." Elrohir eredered, sure of his response. "Glorfindel
assured me they have been not" He added with an anxious smile.
*terrible, terrible liar * He reproached himself. "Why?" He asked
puzzled while frowning his forehead to study his twin's reaction.

"I was just curious about it..." Fidgeting the sleeve of his tunic
Elladan stared at the stone squares decorating the entire hall. "Are you
going to be busy tonight?. I thought you might want to play Kholiast
with me?"

"You are acting weird." Elrohir whispered, still studying his brother,
unsuccessfully trying to find out what was going on with him. "There is
something you are not telling me, what is it?" The serious inquiry lost
almost all its seriousness when the younger twin bent almost parallel to
floor level so he could look at his brother's eyes. "Elladan?"

"Would it not be easier to pull his face up, Pen Neth?" Erestor mused at
Elrohir´s posture from under the stone arcade of the Halls. Both
elflings snapped their heads up to face him. "Dinner is ready." He
announced and left the two brothers behind while muttering a *Do not be
late * as he walked through the dark passage.

Facing Elladan in inquiry once again Elrohir noticed his brother's deep
blush. And after a couple of minutes, words finally managed to leave his
already opened mouth. "You like Erestor!". He mumbled shocked, still
staring at Elladan. He waited for his brother to chide him as usual, but
no reply came from his brother's mouth. "You do..." Still shocked
Elrohir shook his head to clear his mind.

"You think he might like me?" Elladan asked staring at his fidgeting
fingers. "Or get to like me?"

"But, but... Elladan. He IS ERESTOR!". Not knowing what to say Elrohir
stood from his place and started pacing in front of his twin almost
frantically. How could Elladan had fallen in love with their father's
lover?... "Are you in love?" The young elf asked, stopping in one place
as he realized his brother had not denied that he did LIKE Erestor,
perhaps it was just that... Waiting fretfully for a reply Elrohir stared
at his sibling in strong inquiry.

"I think I might..." Elladan whispered uneasily.

"You can not!" Elrohir practically yelled waving his hands frantically
to emphasise his unexplained point.

"Why?. You want him too?!" Snapping at his brother's outrage regarding
his recently discovered feelings Elladan stood swiftly from his place as
he glared coldly at the younger dark haired half-elf.

"You two are always fighting!" Elrohir blurted nervously, not really
knowing what to say or do. He could not discuss his father's secret with
out permission, and he was also afraid of how Elladan might react if he
found out the truth at that precise moment.

"So?" The oldest twin asked raising both his shoulders.

"Well... That!" Elrohir yelled. "You can not be in love with him."

"Why?. Are you the only one worthy of our tutors?. I know you are their
favourite but I can make them like me too if I want." Despite the fact
that he was well aware that he had no chance with Glorfindel, Elladan
decided to release his menace nonetheless.

"Elladan. They already like you." The younger raven haired elf tried to
explain more calmly avoiding the menacing words. "But Erestor is not for
you."

"This is so typical of you Elrohir. When it comes to you. Everything is
possible, but when it comes to me, nothing is."

"I never said that!" The younger elf rebuked as he ran behind his
brother who suddenly rushed out the room. "Elladan!" He called vainly,
as his brother was not in sight when he crossed the end of the passage.

"Have you told them dinner was ready?." Asked the Lord of the House
after an annoyed puff of air managed to escape between his lips.

Lifting his eyes from the point on the wall he had been staring at, lost
in thought, Erestor gazed at his annoyed lover waiting for his reply.
"As soon as I left the study." He offered calmly, avoiding the fact that
Elrond already knew he had informed the twins.

"What were they doing?" The golden haired elf asked pulling his body
backwards to relax in the comfortable chair.

"It seemed like Elrohir wanted to get some information out of Elladan."

"My Lord." The hesitant voice of a maid interrupted Erestor´s speech.
"The food can not stay much longer on the fire or it will be ruined".

The elf-girl left to go get the trays of food, after her Lord's nod.

"Obviously they are not very hungry..." Elrond mused out loud. Glancing
at his beloved, he smiled, suddenly forgetting the twin's delay. As
always, Erestor looked beautiful to Elrond eyes, but at that precise
moment all the previous repressed desire in the half-elf Lord's body
made a warm shiver run across his spine to end in his groin.

The Lord of the house rested his arm on the table, its palm up, silently
asked his lover to join hands.

Smiling fairly timidly, Erestor slid his own hand gently across Elrond´s
until their fingers automatically laced together.

A few silent and comfortable moments were shared until the maid returned
from the kitchen carrying a tray of steaming food. The aromatic smell of
seasoned meat coming from the kitchen passages increased as she liftede tre tray on the table.

Elrond´s grip on his lover's hand tightened as he sensed the imminent
separation. . To Erestor that simple sign of affection or something even
more intimate sometimes, were and and natural if, before Glorfindel,
but they were not certainly shared in public in a conscious way. Smiling
relieved the Lord of Imladris thanked his loved one -for not retrieving
his hand as he had meant to- caressing the inside of Erestor´s wrist
with a gentle thumb.

Erestor melted at the surprisingly new ministration. How come Elrond had
never done that before in all the years they spent together, was a
mystery to the chief advisor, but he did not really care. The touch was
tender, allowed in public, and at the same time sensual and enticing.
How Erestor wanted to bend over the little space of the table separating
him from Elrond, and kiss those always desired lips, but he could not do
so at that moment so he settled for stealing an adoring smile back.

"Thank you." Elrond dismissed the young maid, gazing at Glorfindel on
his other side. "Elrohir knows." He offered after the elf-girl's steps
were no longer caught by his perception.

"You spoke with him?." The golden haired eldar spoke calmly despite the
urgent need to know how his beloved had taken the news. "How did he take
it?"

"Rather well I dare say. He advised me to nibble Erestor lower down his
neck, so a regular shirt would conceal the mark.

Glorfindel almost choked on the wine passing down his throat as a laugh
threatened to came out from it at the same time. "What?!" He asked
finally able to laugh heartily at Elrond´s statement.

"The young one saw us... kissing in the study" The chief advisor
explained whilst blushing.

"He appeared from under my desk offering his *advice* and then he
apologized for startling us. He claimed it would not have been right to
have stayed where he was. I wonder what was he doing under my desk..."
Elrond frowned while thinking of a possible explanation before he got
distracted by the blond eldar's soft laugh and his lover's fingers
seeking his own resting next to his plate.

"Apparently he managed to find out a week ago." Erestor offered.

"Elladan?" Asked the golden haired elf with no mused timbre in his voice
at that moment. "You need to talk to him. It will not be easy to keep
the secret now that Elrohir knows. You know how they are." He advised
matter-o-factly before noticing his friend's fingers playing lovingly
together once again. "Not to mention that with the passing of the days
you seem less able to keep your hands to your self. Chuckling and amused
as the raven haired elves blushed in. synchrony Glorfindel started to
serve some food on to the plates before it got too cold.

Glorfindel wandered the passageways near the kitchen trying to find
Lindir before he went to bed. Otherwise he would have to wait till the
next day to deliver Ed´s d´s message.

Leaning gently on one of the balcony rails surrounding the atriums of
the house, he spotted the dark haired elf busy with one of the elf girls
he preferred. Glorfindel could not really hear what Lindir was saying
but the golden haired elf knew the other elf had succeeded when the maid
encircled her arms around the other's neck pulling the dark haired elf
into a tender embrace.

* Tomorrow it is. * Glorfindel thought as he left the lovers in well
deserved privacy, suddenly remembering the first maid he had been with.
Till this day her melodious laugh was still present in his memory. The
sweetest elf-girl he had ever been with. Smiling fondly at his memories
the blond elf headed towards his rooms when a sudden shattering noise
came from the storage room.

Heading towards where the noise had come from the elder elf found the
oldest twin kneeling on the floor picking up shards of two broken
vessels. Sighing softly, Glorfindel approached Elladan who, at the
moment, was too engrossed in the task at hand to notice him in the room

Elladan startled as another hand appeared from nowhere to pick a big
piece of glass. Lifting his gaze up the younger elf saw a curtain of
golden hair veiling the other's face. "I did not see the table." He
mumbled, a little ashamed of the mess he had caused.

"It is indeed very dark in here." The elder elf soothed as he pulled his
hair away from his face to be able to look at the upset elfling.

A relieved smile formed on the prince's face as soon as he noticed he
was not going to be reprimanded for his stupidity this time and a
whimper of pain formed back in his throat as he moved his left hand.

"Let me see that."

"Mnnn, no, it is nothing." The raven haired elf assured, slightly
shaking his head before handing Glorfindel his own hand, knowing that
his tutor would not give up on the matter until he had checked the
injury.

"It is nothing." Elladan assured once again grimacing a little from the
annoying pain as Glorfindel checked it carefully. "I will clean it as
soon as I get things in order again..." He secured. "I do not want to
upset Lindir too".

"Come with me. I will clean this later" Standing from his crouching
position, the elder elf waited for Elladan to follow. "Nobody comes here
at this hour of the night anyway."

After a fruitless visit to the dispensary, both elves entered
Glorfindel´s private chambers.

After some minutes of absentminded walking around the room, Elladan
popped his head through the bathroom entrance to see Glorfindel opening
a drawer and taking out a little phial of the liquid they used to mend
the injuries when he and Elrohir come home from playing around the
valley. Usually several scratches ended adorning their bodies and this
liquid did help them heal faster.

"Here it is." Glorfindel declared, pleased and cradling the small phial
in his hand.

"I was hoping you would not find it." Frowning, Elladan stared like a
child at the small inoffensive glass bottle in his tutor's hand. "That
liquid burns worst than fire". He complained, his frown relaxing as
Glorfindel started to chuckle.
kno know." Amused the blond elf directed them both near the bed, asking
with a silent signal for Elladan to sit on it. As soon as Elladan
complied, he took the little cloth accompanying the phial in his hand
and soaked it with the clear liquid. "But you, better than anyone else,
should know that is does help the healing process."

"Unfortunately, I do..." Hissing when the soaked cloth made contact with
the open cut of his hand, Elladan grabbed the bederleerlet tightly with
his free hand so as not jerk the injured one away from the elf healing
it.

"There you are." The elder elf rose to an upright position and smiled at
his young student blowing as gently as possible over the angry cut.
After leaving the small bottle and piece of cloth on his nightstand
table, he sat next to young elfling. "You missed dinner." He reminded
the other calmly.

"Was Ada upset at me?."

"And your brother...". Glorfindel assured studying carefully the
youngster elf who was becoming more upset with the passing of the
seconds. "Did you two argue?."

"Yes."

"May I know why?" The b elf elf asked quietly, as he tangled his hands
together in his lap.

The young prince smiled, that question was so Glorfindel he thought,
amused. The elder elf was always polite and gentle and (one of Elladan´s
favourite qualities) not intrusive. He respected what he and Elrohir
wanted to talk about, and what they didn't. Not that the others did
otherwise, but Glorfindel was somehow more ... subtle in his
questionings. "Would you keep the secret if I tell you?". He finally
asked, biting his lip in worry, he knew the question was out of place
with the elf he was about to talk to but nonetheless he needed to feel
reassured.

"Yes." A tender smile formed in the eldar's face as he noticed the
trustful and thankful smile on the oldest twin's lips.

"Alright..." Taking a deep breath as if he was about to dive in under
water Elladan gained the courage to reveal the secret Elrohir had
recently discovered, to Glorfindel. "I , feel ... Mnnn, butterflies in
my stomach when Erestor is around." Elladan thought he might be in love
with his dark haired tutor, but to be in love was a strong feeling and
he was not ready to admit that -to himself, or others- yet. "And when I
think of him too...you know..."

"And you have discussed this with Elrohir, when?." He asked, sounding
soothing and calming. None of his anxiety was displayed to the young elf
confessing his heart to him. A young heart that will be broken once
again, soon.

"He noticed when Erestor came to tell us dinner was ready." Elladan
explained blushing noticeable at the mention of his tutor. "I think
Elrohir does not think Erestor might like me... That way. " He added
after some hesitation. "You think it too?". Waiting impatiently for his
answer Elladan bit his lower lip once again, big green eyes suddenly
watering at his blonds tutor's thinking of his simple question. If
Glorfindel considered he had no chance with the Noldor elf, then he
probably had none.

"I think nobody is exempt from falling in love..." The older elf
reassured calmly after a long sigh, trying not to give false hope to his
young student. Glorfindel knew he was not answering what Elladan had
asked, but he could not really think of anything that would not break
the elfling´s heart nor give him false expectations. "Have you consider
discussing this with Erestor?." Smiling at the frown showing on
Elladan´s brow, the elder elf denied slightly with his head. "Of course
you have not. I would not have either." He mused out loud.

"You think I should?."

"I think it is a possibility you should consider." He offered quietly,
hoping Elladan would not make up his mind and go talk to Erestor that
same night, otherwise Erestor would have one of his panic attacks and
would try to hide for an entire week somewhere he knows he will not be
found. Glorfindel did not even want to think about the reaction he might
have towards the young elf, the blond elf knew that the Noldor elf loved
the twins more than his own life but a situation like this might make
him fell cornered as a cat; who quickly senses the danger of the
situation, retreating into his overprotected relationship with Elrond.

Sighing, Glorfindel remembered how with Rumil´s latest visits Elrond´s
feelings wavered on the edge of insecurity. He still seemed not able to
bear seeing see his lover near the young Galadhrim for long periods of
time. How would he feel when he found out about his son's feelings
towards his own lover, when he was so fearful of losing Erestor again.

"I will ... consider the idea." Ell mum mumbled in the middle of a yawn,
snapping Glorfindel from his own worries.

"I also think you should consider of going to bed too." Clucking
Glorfindel petted the dark haired elf's back. "You will think better
after a good night of rest."

"Yes. I could not sleep well last night." Elladan declared whilst
standing to leave. "Ah, I have to clean the mess in the storage room
first." He remembered.

"No. You go to sleep, now. I will take care of it... Do not worry about
it." He insisted as soon as he noticed Elladan´s imminent complaint.

They walked two doors down the hallway to Elladan´s rooms.

"Thankyou Glorfindel." Elladan muttered bashfully.

"You are very welcome Elladan." The elder elf reassured with a confident
smile as he embraced the young one caringly and planted a fatherly kiss
on the elfling´s brow. "Go to sleep. And try not to be late for
breakfast tomorrow. Alright?."

"Alright." After gifting a last thankful smile to his confidant, Elladan
entered his private chambers to find Elrohir at the edge of tears on the
other side of the door.

Part 17

"Elladan?." Asked Elrohir in a cracked voice. "Were you trying to...?"
He could not end the sentence, for fear his twin would carry out his
previous threat. *I can make them like me if I want * He had said, and
although Elrohir trusted that Glorfindel would never hurt him, he could
not help but feel betrayed by his brother's possible treason.

"Trying to what?." The oldest twin asked frowning as he studied his
brother on the edge of tears, completely at a loss as to what Elrohir
was asking him about.

"To... seduce him?". Tears started to fall down the creamy cheeks and
Elrohir´s hands worked swiftly to wipe them away.

"What? NO! Why would I do that?!" Outraged by his brother's questioning,
Elladan stared at the other, waiting for some kind of explanation.

"You threatened you would!".

"So little you know me, Elrohir?!." He chided even more outraged than
before, moving towards his bed and throwing himself on it. "I was only
talking to him." He offered as he noticed his brother's reluctance to
believe his words. "And I hurt my hand so he healed it with that
horrible liquid they used when we were little. I cannot believe that you
of all others believed me capable of doing such a thing!"

"Well. You seemed pretty serious Elladan! Not to mention angry!" Elrohir
walked to the bed and slipped in next to his brother, facing him from
the next empty pillow. "Did you tell him about Erestor?" He asked riedried. "What did he tell you?" He added after his brother's nod.

"Nothing really. Just that I should consider talking to him."

"Will you?"

"I do not know yet. I will think about it. Why? You think I should?"

"Mnnn, yes." Elrohir said, but in a whisper as he yawned whilst
snuggling in the pillow "I will always be here for you Elladan, no
matter what. I will always be your brother" he stated with a reassuring
smile and taking his twin's hand he surrendered reluctantly to slumber.

Sighing and snuggling on his own pillow Elladan tried vainly to counsel
sleep as memories and possibilities flooded his mind.

Elrond watched his lover moving around the room not really doing
something so important as to keep him from bed at that hour of night,
not to mention away from him.

"Erestor." He called to the distracted elf, making the other turn
anxiously to see him. "Are you coming to bed?"

"I was thinking that I do not remember if I left the parchment you
handed to me to read in a safe place. Perhaps I should go check it out,
just to make sure nothing will happen to it." He mumbled these rushed
words as he threw his robe over his half naked body. Strong caring arms
embraced him from behind as Elrond´s head snuggled in the crook where
neck and shoulder meet, nuzzling teasingly the soft tender flesh.

"You gave it to me before we headed to the dinning room. Remember?"
Elrond whispered quietly to the relaxing figure within his grip. "Now,
unless you have something more important to do than to sleep in my arms,
I suggest you come with me to bed."

"You know, nothing can ever be more important than to be with you."
Whispered the Noldor elf calmly as his hand cupped the ones over his
chest, holding him prisoner in Elrond´s embrace.

"Mnnn, I do not know..." Teased the half-elf clumsily directing his
lover to their bed. "A little more wandering around the room and you
would have me thinking that you did not want to sleep with me tonight."

Chuckling at his beloved's faked gloom, Erestor shifted in the embrace
to face the other. "You are going to make me say it." He warned with a
wide grin on his lips.

"But we argued this morning. I certainly do not deserve it today."
Trying bogusly for his lover not to use his pet name Elrond frowned at
the amused look on his loved one's face. "You will say it, no matter
what I say or do. Right?"

"You are my own beam of sunshine." Pleased at the furious blushing he
caused on his beloved's featurEresErestor petted Elrond´s cheek to kiss
ever so lovingly those desirable lips. "You deserved it today. Sunbeam."
He added, but in a whisper to the other's lips as he moved away from the
kiss. "I love you."

"I love you too." Pressing their brows against each other, both elven
Lords kissed once again before Elrond pulled away, smiling to the other
so he was able to remove the intrusive robe Erestor had just put over
his half naked body. "Lie down Moonbeam." He teased with a grin.

Slipping onto the bed next to his beloved, Elrond held the other
protectively to his chest. "Let me hold you." After petting the dark
mane of hair cascading across his chest Elrond looked down at the quiet
figure snuggled to his body. "What are you thinking A´maelarain?"

"You realise that moonbeam and sunbeam never meet?"

"What?" Asked Elrond laughing amused as his loved one pulled his head up
to look at him.

"The moon and the sun partially meet in the sky. When one hides the
other rises." Erestor explained quietly whilst petting Elrond´s bare
chest, before giving it a quick kiss.

"Perhaps, but even though they only meet for a few minutes, they can not
exist with out each other. Just as I can not exist without you."
Caressing lovingly the other's cheek he smiled.

Erestor moved half on top of the resting figure, their bare chests
meeting, awakening their bodies. He pressed gently his lips over
Elrond´s for a loving, caring, sensual kiss. Elrond´s mouth opened,
giving permission for his tongue to find the others. His body naturally
moved to be further on top of his long time lover, pressing their needs
together. He could see between heavy lids Elrond´s eyelashes fluttering
closed seconds later as his arms desperately tried to embrace him
closer.

Smiling into the kiss, Erestor teased even more, biting Elrond´s lower
lip, sucking it gently; before the tip of his tongue trailed its way
down Elrond´s chin, neck and chest muscles. His lover's moaning
encouraged him to go on more. His mouth cupped a pinkish bud, sucking
it gently at first, to bite it ever as gently moments later when it was
fully erect.

The half-elf Lord's body arched from the mattress he was resting on,
begging silently for more. The Noldor elf's lips found their way to the
other nipple and imitated the same movements as before he brought the
same, yet increased sensations of pleasure and need to the other's
shaking body.

Moving teasingly down Erestor found light leggings in his way to the
already aroused member. Smiling naughtily, he looked up at his waiting
beloved, whilst his hand cupped the needy flesh still covered by the
thin fabric.

"Take them off." Elrond managed to pant, in his aroused state. The image
of his lover teasing him so masterfully, knowing exactly what to do to
him, unmade him. Erestor made him lose control every single time he
acted this way. It made Elrond want to be taken, Erestor could even make
the elven Lord beg for it...

Smirking even more devilishly, Erestor denied this slowly by shaking his
head, making the loose dark locks around his face dance gently. Bending
slowly, his mouth took the heated flesh within it, swirling his tongue
ever so gracefully around the swollen member he wet the light fabric of
Elrond´s pants as his mouth drove it deeper down his throat. After a few
more sucks he hummed teasingly on the invasive flesh contained by his
mouth.

The half-elven Lord had to grab the sheets at the extremely teasing
sensation. Elrond could feel a restraining hand pressing on his abdomen
firmly, urging him to steady his trembling body, but he could not help
it. The pleasure Erestor was giving to his body was much more than the
Lord of Imladris could manage. The vibrationhe whe wet fabric, the warm
cavity taking him deep made Elrond gasp his beloved's name...

Erestor paid no attention to the musical warning of closure, instead his
hand moved down from Elrond´s belly to unfasten the opening of the
pants. In its way up his mouth left the heated flesh, and as swiftly as
a lightning he enclosed it once again, before the other could feel the
annoying sensation of the cool air of the night hitting mercilessly the
heated flesh. Moving up and down Erestor increased the rhythm as he
felt his lover closer to release. His hand settled once again on the
naked belly moving unconsciously, desperately, to press Elrond´s body
steady as he found his release in the other's throat.

The Noldor elf swallowed eagerly his lover's seed and moaned softly at
the taste of it, until there was no more for him to take...

Demanding hands grabbed him on the shoulders, asking Erestor to move
upwards in the bed and so the chief advisor complied.

Elrond´s eyes opened as soon as he knew they would find his lover, a
wide, pleased and relaxed smile played on his inviting lips as Erestor
bent to kiss him all of a sudden, tenderly allowing him to taste the
remnants of his own release in his loved one's mouth.

After mumbling his love to his beloved's lips, Erestor snuggled on the
half-elven Lord's chest, allowing the so well known strong protective
arms to enfold him lovingly.

Several minutes passed before Elrond spoke, asking Erestor what was he
thinking.

"I thought you had fallen asleep." The Noldor elf mused peacefully from
his nestle.

"Mnnn, no. I am only recovering." The Lord of Imladris muttered
contently making the other smile against his bare skin.

"You should try to sleep. You stayed awake last night" * because of me *
He added to himself. "Please try to get some rest."

Altered the next couple of paragraphs because it was hard to keep track
of who was thinking what.

"I do not wish to sleep yet." Elrond stated, resuming the tender petting
on his beloved's back.

Erestor knew that he would not be able to rest even though his body
needed to, he knew this was one of the nights in which he would spend
the entire night awake, trying vainly to fool the nightmares from
harassing his dreams. The nightmares attacked both during the day and
the night yet Erestor preferred to deal with them when the light of Anor
was still in the sky, it was less frightening ... These were the nights
Elrond would keep Erestor company, soothing any possible fear crawling
into the other's mind away with tender touches and loving words...

Closing his eyes, Erestor alternated between the idea of ordering his
lover to seek his well earned and deserved sleep, or the idea of saying
nothing and letting him accompany Erestor for the major part of the
night that the chief advisor knew he was going to be awake for due to
the fear of bad dreams. Moving up Elrond´s body, Erestor snuggled into
his beloved's shoulder, silently pleading Elrond to keep him company for
a little longer.

Kissing the Noldor elf's brow, the half-elf Lord tightened his embrace
as he felt the insecurity in the other's body. "Where have you been all
day?" He asked trying to give the elf cradled in his arms something else
to think about other than his despairing dreams. "I went to look for you
in the eastern wing, but you were not there."

"The twins found the place." He muttered, fighting his slumber, he could
not help but to feel secure in his lover's arms. It felt as if he could
not be harmed as long as he stayed cradled in them.

"They did?" Frowning, the elven Lord asked gloomily.

"Yes. They were there when I went back."

"The questioned you about it?"

"I would have not expected less from them. Although Elladan was rather
quiet." Erestor considered as he replayed the moment on his mind.

"He was upset this morning. I assumed it was because he had argued with
you."

"We did not argue, I raised my voice at him because he found me in the
stream as I took my bath." Snuggling closer to his lover, he complained
to himself. "I still can not handle that kind of situation." Mumbling,
mortified Erestor closed his eyes.

"You have not to trouble that much over it, A´maelarain. No harm has
been done."

Closing his eyes the chief advisor could not help but to feel those
words as a stab in his heart. What if someday Elrond found out about his
lies? What if someday he could not control himself and face
Celebrian?... Erestor felt deep in his soul that his patience was
leaving him when it came to her. "This time, but I can not assure you I
would not hurt someone in the future."

"I KNOW you, Erestor. I know you are incapable of harming anyone"

"I wish I could be as confident as you..." He mumbled sleepily as he
gave up the conversation to fall asleep in the secure nestle of his
beloved's arms.

Sighing deeply, Elrond snuggled his beloved closer to him and after some
moments of his mind wandering, his eyes got lost somewhere on the
ceiling of their room, transporting his mind to his own personal
dreamland.

* * * * * * * * * * *

Glorfindel sat on his bed, knowing that he would not find rest that
night; shifting over the clean linen of his bed could hardly be named as
resting. It was not that early either, a couple of hours and he would
have to prepare himself to attend breakfast, and talk to Elrond and
Erestor.

Sighing angrily to himself he stood from his empty bed, how could this
have happened?, How could Elladan have fallen in love with Erestor?.
Looking up for his clothes the eldar considered the possible ways to
give thes wis without ...

"No matter how you say it will be chaotic nevertheless..." He whispered
to himself.

Once dressed, he turned to seek his brush from the night table, but his
eyes could not leave the empty and cold bed. Suddenly, he was feeling
the need to sneak into Elrohir´s room and crawl into bed to snuggle next
to the young elfling. To feel the warm reassurance of his beloved's body
close to his own always managed to make problems seem less important
than they really were. Elrohir´s smile always managed to brighten up his
life when Glorfindel felt himself tired, sad or worried, as he was at
that precise moment.

Shaking his head, the golden haired eldar moved swiftly to pick up the
brush from the nightstand, and after brushing away every possible knot
in his hair he rushed out of his rooms to the library.

Whilst passing Elrohir´s bedrooms door he paused, not knowing whether to
follow his heart, or his reasonable mind.

His hand rested hesitantly on the oak door, deciding whether to knock or
not when a lustful moan coming from inside made him move the hesitant
palm away.

Jealousy suddenly mixed with need as he consideree ide idea of his loved
one being with another. Perhaps the young elfling had considered his
words and decided to take another lover. Swallowing hard he felt his
self control leaving him quickly, as the only thing he wanted to do was
to open the door and find out if Elrohir had company or not... He could
surely find a believable reason for his intrusion...

Closing his eyes, Glorfindel smiled to himself as he heard Elrohir´s
voice panting his name repeatedly, as if calling for him...

Pressing his right hand and brow on the oak door he smiled, feeling as
foolish as he had ever felt for his mistrust regarding the youngster's
feelings. Yet as the sounds increased so did the flesh imprisoned in
his leggings.

The elfling calling his name in that lovely cadence made the blond eldar
want to forget about his own inhibitions, so it would be him who brought
pleasure to the young, inexperienced body he craved to kiss and touch...
and pleasure to the edge of madness...

Glorfindel felt his mouth go dry as his aroused state increased with the
moaning from inside the room, driving him practically unwise with need.
His eyes tightly shut, and his fisted hands hanging tensely to the sides
of his body fought not to rub the imprisoned swollen member crying for
release.

He needed to move from there, it was not impossible for some passing elf
to find him shamelessly listening as Elrohir released himself, but he
found himself unable to move.

He was as weak as always when it came to Elrohir... Glorfindel found
himself unable to think rationally, clearly and what worried him the
most was that he was starting not to care. Perhaps this ... waiting was
useless... Perhaps he should surrender to his carnal desires, which
after all were basn non nothing but pure love and adoration...

A deep throaty moan came from the closed room, and the golden haired elf
had to bite his lip not to moan too. How much he wanted to go inside and
cradle the exhausted elf within his arms and cover him with loving
kisses...

But instead he found himself resuming his walking to the library,
running away as always when it came to the youngest prince.... Elrohir
did not only make him feel week, he also made him feel scared. Scared of
being irremediably hurt.

* * * * * * * * * * *

As soon as his breathing evened, Elrohir´s attention focused on the
hallway outside his room, how loud had he been moaning was now troubling
him. Blushing and tugging his pants closed he peered his head out the
door he had been leaning on whilst finding his release. Fortunately the
corridor was empty as it always was at these early hours of the day...

With a relaxed sigh, the young elfling shut the door and considered the
idea of sleeping a little more, as the relaxation of his body drew him
into a heavenly, light state... Yet his empty bed was not alluring
enough as to make him lie on it. Instead, he walked towards the bathroom
with a pleased smile playing on his face. He had come to the conclusion
that after his bath he would slip into his beloved's bed to wake him...

* * * * * * * * * * *
Elrohir tossed the towel on to the chair after squeezing the excess of
water from his hair and left his chambers to go wake his beloved.
Smiling devilishly to himself he considered different possible ways to
wake Glorfindel, one of those involved his tongue and the other's ...
Puffing, annoyed Elrohir turned on his heels as he peered through the
eldar's door and saw the empty unmade bed. Glorfindel was not there,
only his sleeping leggings rested comfortably at the foot of the bed.

Heading downstairs, Elrohir peered carefully through the main door and
grinned as he saw the blond elf sitting quietly next to the window,
obviously staring at the last stars still shining away in the sky. He
looked even more beautiful, when he was distracted like he was at this
mom qui quietly admiring the beauties of Arda...

Smiling wickedly, Elrohir tiptoed near his loved one and embraced him
from behind to kiss softly the other's cheek. "Up so early?" The young
prince purred to the pointy ear.

Glorfindel smiled at the courage of the young elfling. Obviously more
brave than himself regarding his feelings. The eldar's hands quickly
moved to cup Elrohir´s as his head leaned backwards to rest on the
raven haired elf's chest. "I could not sleep." He mumbled, tiredly
pushing away the urge to seat Elrohir on his lap and kiss him...

"You are worried for Elladan." The younger elf whispered gently whilst
his fingers played with Glorfindel´s. "I am worried too. No matter what
happens, he will end up hurt."

"Come here." Pulling gently on Elrohir´s arms, the golden haired elf
asked silently for the other to sit in front of him in the window seat.
"I will talk to your father and Erestor today." Glorfindel acknowledged,
hoping Elrohir would not be angry at him for revealing Elladan´s secret.

"I was going to ask you if you considered I should tell them." Smiling,
relieved Elrohir sighed. "I knew not what to do... Elladan mentioned you
advised him to talk to Erestor but I am not sure he will."

"Neither am I ..." At the sensation of a warm hand cupping his own
Glorfindel noticed he was actually looking at the stars, his eyes turned
to face Elrohir smiling reassuringly back at him as if knowing what was
going though his head. So many thoughts, so many insecurities and fears.
All coming together in a big mix which made him feel saddened.

"I can tell them if you are afraid Elladan will be mad at you. Eru knows
I am a terrible liar..." Blushing Elrohir looked into his loved one's
blue eyes and there he allowed himself to be lost for several seconds
until the musical voice brought him back to reality.

"I appreciate that but I am afraid it would be best if I discussed this
with them" Smiling at the raven-haired prince, Glorfindel petted
Elrohir´s face ever so gently, as if it was a rose petal. How was he
able to feel such intense feelings towards the young elf?. Lust,
tenderness, love, passion, desire... all this and more blossomed in his
heart and body every time the youngest peredhil was near him. Even
though he had tried to hide for years he found himself increasingly
unable to do so with the passion of every second, every look and stolen
glimpse of Elrohir´s beauty.

"You think Erestor might react sow stw strangely."

Blinking at the assertion Glorfindel could do but nod.

"I never really understood him well, I love him, but he is an extremely
complex being and I feel he would not let anybody really know him or
reach his heart. Well, except you and Ada..."

"But you and Elladan reached his heart A´maelarain. Believe me, more
than you might ever imagine. He loves you both dearly..."

Blinking in surprise, Elrohir grinned blissfully at the new adjective
Glorfindel had called him. Turning to give his back to the elder elf,
Elrohir moved closer and snuggled into Glorfindel´s arms and chest. "I
always knew he loved us, and since yesterday I have no doubt of it..."

"Why since yesterday?" The golden haired elf asked quietly, whilst
lazily petting the dark hair.

"We talked about Ada´s binding to mother, and what that meant to him,
and what Elladan and I meant to him too."

"What did he tell you?"

"That we were the most marvellous presents he could have ever received."
Smiling happily, Elrohir snuggled his head closer into the eldar's
shoulder.

"I can assure you, you are." Kissing Elrohir´s head, Glorfindel looked
into the lightening sky, welcoming the sun soon to appear on the
horizon. Cradling the prince in his arms, he smiled contentedly,
suddenly feeling relieved, and strong enough to face the rest of what
would be an exhausting day.

*****
Part 18

Stopping himself at the entrance of the library, Erestor smiled at the
image his eyes witnessed. Elrohir was snuggled closely to the eldar, who
was lovingly holding the youngster close to his own body, as if he was
silently feeding himself from Elrohir´s youth, and love. Considering the
idea of leaving as quietly as he had entered, Erestor stepped backwards.
His body stumbled and crashed into Lindir, who was behind him.

Glorfindel snapped his head around to where the muffled sound had come
from, to see both elves holding each other, preventing themselves from
falling.

Elrohir turned his head lazily to look at the intruders, although he did
not bother to pull away from his beloved's arms. Instead he snuggled
closer. "Is breakfast ready?" He asked quietly.

"Yes. It will be served within fifteen minutes." Lindir acknowledged
before turning to leave. "Excuse me"

"I am not hungry." Elrohir muttered to Glorfindel hiding his face in the
soft fabric of his loved one's robe. He could not help the feeling of
wanting to stay there with the blond eldar the entire day. Sitting
wrapped in caring arms...

"You did not eat last night." Glorfindel reminded Elrohir, smiling as he
noticed Erestor quietly leaving him alone with Elrohir. How come such a
noble elf could have been destined to such a difficult life was a
mystery to him. Erestor was one of the purest, gentlest beings he had
ever known... He certainly did not deserve any of what had happened to
him.

"I'd rather stay here with you." Elrohir said in a whisper as his lips
came to be close to Glorfindel´s "In your arms" He purred softly whilst
his lips brushed softly with the eldar's. "Kissing you..."

Deepening the kiss, the elder elf drew Elrohir closer to his body.
Memories of his name been moaned suddenly raced to his mind as well as
his groin.

Elrohir whimpered at the confidence of the kiss. It seemed as if
Glorfindel had been starving and Elrohir´s mouth was a luscious red
fruit waiting to be tasted. Pressing harder his own chest to the blond
elf's, Elrohir moved to settle himself on Glorfindel´s lap, facing the
other. Both his legs straddled the captive body to the window frame as
his hands roamed across the eldar's back and up to the nape of his neck.

Moaning into the kiss, Glorfindel moved even closer. His need was
blatantly pressing against Elrohir´s bottom, suddenly unable to push
away, he pushed forward. His own mental image of the dark haired prince
panting his name as he found his release was making him unable to
control himself. His body paid no attention to his mind asking him
wisely to stop, instead he tightened his grip around the youngster's
waist, pulling the other desperately closer. Elrohir´s throaty moan
against his lips made him tangle his fingers in the dark mane of hair,
holding Elrohir´s head steady to deepen the kiss ever more.

Elrohir rubbed his bottom harder against his beloved's ready flesh,
wanting to feel ever closer to Glorfindel and tease the other to the
point of despair. Unaware of whether he was having a beautiful dream, or
whether he was awake, the raven haired elf managed to open his eyes to
see dark blue eyes staring back at him. The lust in them made Elrohir
shiver hard in anticipation of what might happen. "Glorfindel...?". He
panted, as if to make sure what he was feeling was real and not a mere
product of his imagination.

"I am here." The elder elf assured, whilst petting the dark hair
soothingly.

Bending closer to kiss the elder elf once again, Elrohir tightened his
embrace around the golden haired elf's neck fiercely, as if afraid
someone might come to take his beloved away from him. It was then, at
that precise moment, that a well known voice reached both aroused elves'
ears.

Elrohir practically fell to the floor in his desperate attempt to stand
as quickly as he could. Luckily his beloved caught him before it was too
late.

As soon as he was standing steady on the floor, he gazed up to see his
father staring inquiringly at both of them. He probably had heard them
on his way to the dining room. The hallway outside this particularly
little library was the only way to get to the dining room from the
family quarters.

"Am I interrupting something?." Elrond finally asked from his place near
the door breaking the deadly silence.

"No!" Elrohir said, perhaps too loud for an elvish voice. "I was
just..." He could not help but bite his lower lip when his father cocked
his head slightly to the side encouraging an answer, or was it demanding
one? The youngest prince was not sure. Anyway he needed to say something
reasonable. "I was, just upset because last night I argued with
Elladan..."

"Is that why you two missed dinner?" the half-elven Lord asked lightly,
a little amused by both his friend and son's nervousness. "And, are you
planning on having breakfast or are you going to skip that too?" after
Elrohir´s nodding to his first question he added flipping his gaze to
his golden haired friend.

"We will be there in a couple of minutes Elrond." Glorfindel mumbled, as
the opposite of Elrohir, perhaps in a too low voice.

After a quick nod Elrond left both lovers alone once again.

The elder elf pulled a stray braid of hair away Elrohir´s eyes, drawing
the youngster's attention to him. "Are you well?" He asked tenderly as
the prince's eyes met his own. The scared look in his loved one's eye
made him regret his previous actions as quickly as the water of a river
renews things. He embraced Elrohir protectively after a hesitant nod of
the youngster's head.

Elrohir wrapped his arms around the eldar; not wanting to imagine what
might have happened if his father had found out about them. He certainly
did not want Glorfindel in trouble due his own stupidity. He beenbeen
the one to start things by climbing into the eldar's lap and teasing him
the way he had done, and he should have known better than to expose his
golden haired love the way he had done.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
* * * * * * * * * * *

Erestor looked up from the papers he was working on, in the process of
stretching his tense neck, and saw Elrond staring out the window, with a
worried expression showing on his face.

"What is in your mind?" The chief advisor asked as he came to embrace
his lover from behind. "What troubles you as to make you look so
worried?" After kissing the dark mane of hair falling across Elrond´s
shoulders Erestor rested his chin on one of them, and nuzzled his head
tenderly against Elrond´s.

"Mnnn, nothing really." The half-elven Lord answered but in a whisper as
one of his hands came to pet his beloved's cheek. "I am just,
unsettled." The feeling that something was about to happen in the course
of the following day had not let him be at ease since he woke.
Obviously, hearing his son making out with his best friend was not, as
he had considered before, the reason for his anxiety.

"Is it something you saw?"

"No..." Shifting in the embrace Elrond faced his concerned lover. "I
have the feeling something might happen though I can not see what..."
Pressing his brow to Erestor´s he closed his eyes, allowing his body to
relax a little with the gentle hands stroking his back and hair.

A knock on the door made them both complain. Erestor´s body was
prevented from moving away to attend to the door knock, when Elrond
embraced him tightly burying his face in the dark hair. "Stay here." He
mewled.

Erestor snickered whilst embracing his lover protectively. "We have
already tried this Meleth- Nîn. And they never get tired of knocking the
door."

"There is always a first time for everything." Elrond purred from his
nestle against Erestor´s neck. Making his loved one snickered loudly.
Smiling at the pleasant sound, he automatically tightened the embrace
pulling Erestor closer to him.

"Who is it?" The chief advisor of Imladris asked from Elrond´s arms
holding him lovingly captive. He smiled at the hearing of the eldar's
voice from behind the oak door. "Shall I beckon him to enter?" He asked
Elrond who made no attempt of moving away.

"I will not move." Elrond´s muffled voicened ned stubbornly childlike.

Nodding amused at his lover's, not unusual determination he
acknowledged Glorfindel to enter.

The golden haired elf grinned at the sight his eyes saw as soon as he
crossed the door. Apparently Elrond was in one of those days he was not
going to allow Erestor to be too far away from him. It pained his heart
to bring troubling news to them. It pained him to be the reasons to end
an obviously enjoyable quiet moment between his friends were sharing.

"What have they done?" Elrond asked from his nestle.

"Nothing really" Glorfindel smiled gloomily. "But there is something you
both need to know."

Pulling his head up at the hearing of those always problematic words,
Elrond moved closer to his friend and asked him to sit in one of the arm
chairs positioned in a circle. Looking back to his lover, he found he
had followed him and was sitting next to him.

"Something happened?" The raven haired elf asked quietly as he sat.

"I am afraid so." Glorfindel announced as he ran his hand nervously
along his hair.

Elrond crossed his arms over his chest, waiting for the eldar to speak.
There was no use rushing Glorfindel when he was as upset as to
frantically play with his hair. Perhaps he was anguished that he had
heard him and Elrohir when heading to the dining room? But he had seemed
pretty relaxed during breakfast.

"Elladan confessed something to me last night that I think you two need
to know about." Elrond was straitening on his chair as he always did
when he was about to hear ill news.

"What has he done?" Asked Erestor in a whisper, afraid of what the
oldest impulsive twin might have done for the eldar to be so distressed.

"He thinks he has fallen in love." The golden haired elf managed to say
uneasily.

"Elladan falls in love all the time Glorfindel. You know him..." Elrond
mumbled a little amused, yet an internal warning told him Glorfindel was
not ended revealing his oldest son's secret.

"Who has he fallen for, this time?" The chief advisor of Imladris
inquired as he tried to search his mind for any clue that would lead him
to any possible candidate, but he was unable to remember Elladan acting
strange around anybody, and when he was not with Glorfindel, he and
Elrohir accompanied him to the stables. "The stable's elf-boy?" He
chanced.

"You." The golden haired elf said quietly. "He told me he thinks he
might be in love with you." He explained, watching carey boy both raven
haired elves' reactions. Elrond was trying to form some coherent words,
which he did not seem able to find, and Erestor was still staring back
at him disbelievingly. "That is why he and Elrohir missed dinner last
night, they argued about this. Elrohir disapproved his... choice knowing
of the situation, yet Elladan though Elrohas oas only trying to bother
him..."

"Because he does not know the real reason." Elrond finally managed to
say after a deep breath. "How serious is this Glorfindel?"

"I think is serious enough as for you to speak as quickly as possible
with him. The less time you wait, the less time for Elladan´s feelings
to grow stronger."

"Where is he now?" Erestor asked.

"We can not talk with him now Erestor." The half-elven Lord acknowledged
quietly as he turned to face his beloved, who was looking back at him.

"Why not? Glorfindel is right. The more time we waste the more we will
hurt him." Erestor´s features were a mixture of a plea and worry.

"Because I am sure Elrohir knows Glorfindel is here, and if Elrohir
knows, then Elladan knows. It would not take him much to discover who
informed us."

Sighing tiredly, the chief advisor nodded, understanding of his lover's
point of view. "So what do you recommend?" Staring at Elrond, he asked
distressed.

"We wait for the right time."

"Like we did with Elrohir?"

"THAT was an accident Erestor" The Lord of the Valley stated, rubbing
his brow anxiously.

"I do not think he will do anything rash ... I recommended he talk to
you about what he felt." The golden haired elf acknowledged Erestor,
whose eyes opened wide before he stood from his chair to pace near the
chairs.

"And what I am supposed to do if he does so?"

"We will talk to Elladan before that happens Erestor." The half-elven
Lord assured calmingly.

"And what if not? What if he does say something, or do something? You
know the situation I am in?"

"He will not."

"How can you o suo sure about it?"

"Because he is very much like you. He is shy when it comes to his real
feelings."

Erestor looked at Elrond, defeated, knowing his lover was right.

"That was all I wanted you both to know. Now I think you only need to
figure out the best way to sort things out." Glorfindel said, rising
from his chair, considering it best for Elrond and Erestor to have the
rest of the conversation alone.

"No. You stay. I ... have things to do." Erestor mumbled as he rushed
out the study.

Elrond raised both his hands, denying with his head. "He always runs..."

"And you know why..." Glorfindel said softly. "I do think he has a
point, as much similar to him as Elladan is, he is also impulsive ..."

"I know, but I can not go right now, sit him down and tell him this."
Standing from the chair Elrond paced trough the study.

"Not now, but do not delay things for much longer." Moving to answer the
soft knocking on the door he listened to the elf-girl's bringing some
news. "Galáril is arriving with a small party of elves." He announced to
Elrond as soon as the door was closed.

Elrond frowned whilst looking at the eldar, then after some thinking, he
nodded to himself. "Yes. I forgot he was coming. I also forgot to
mention it to Elrohir." Picking up his robe Elrond looked at the puzzled
face of the golden haired elf guessing why Elrohir needed to be
acknowledged of this particular arrival. "Tywien is coming to study
some things here at Imladris; she will spend some time with us while her
father travels."

The blond elf nodded a false smiled drawing in his lips. "Elrohir will
be glad to have his friend back." He declared turning to leave.

"Yes, I think he will..." Smiling at the eldar Elrond got closer he
he
other. "But not in the way you might be considering..." He whispered
caringly and reassuringly. "Come, let us go welcome them."

Leaving the study both elven Lords went to meet the visitors at the main
hall.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
* * * * * * * * * * *
Elrohir watched his brother absent-mindedly polishing one of his
favourite hunting knives. "Mind what you are doing Elladan, I do not
want to run to go fetch Glorfindel because you sliced your hand...
Again..." He added chuckling and taking the suddenly dangerous knife
from Elladan´s hands. A muffled *ah?* was the only complaint he got as
his older bother stood from the floor and moved to stand near the
window.

Elrohir sighed, he knew Elladan was thinking of Erestor but he would not
bring that topic to light again. Otherwise they would end up arguing
like the night before.

"It is not still, early for visitors to be arriving?" Elladan asked
focusing his eyes in the approaching company of elves.

"Yes." Elrohir agreed as he stood, mirroring his twin's moves. "Eight?
Small party isn't it?"

"Not really. Not at this time of the year..." The oldest brother mumbled
distractedly, still staring outside the window. "Let us go see who they
are." Tugging Elrohir´s sleeve he dragged the other to the door.

"But I still have to finish..."

"I will help you later." The oldest elf assured, interrupting his
brother's speech whilst dragging Elrohir alone.

Elrohir complained with a muffled puff of air and followed Elladan down
the corridor to the main hallway.

* * * * * * *

Elrohir almost sighed when he saw his beloved standing so politely and
correctly next to his father. Self assured of every move he made, every
word he said... So unlike when he was with Elrohir alone...

The image melted Elrohir to the point of wanting to go and embrace his
lover right there, mindless of the other ten elves gathering in the
room. Glorfindel was beautiful and he was his... A long sigh escaped his
lips when he recalled extremely vividly the previous closeness he had
shared with the eldar.

Elladan elbowed his brother and scolded him with his eyes, strongly
shushing his twin.

Elrond smiled at his sons and asked them silently to approach to them.

Both twins complied standing next to their father and tutor, nodding
politely to the recently arrived elves.

Elrohir blinked, noticed he knew one of these elves and smiled; glad he
would get either a letter or some news of his long time friend...

"I am sorry it took us this long", a feminine musical voice said as its
owner approached the gathered elves at the centre of the hall whilst
pulling the hood of her cape off. "I had to make sure Lasbelin* liked
her new temporary home." Her eyes glanced quickly at Elrohir who was
smiling happily back at her. She stood next to her father, with a tall
elf behind her.

"You pamper that horse too much." His father said, amused, as he
embraced his only child caringly.

"Ada, please" She blushed noticeably as she pleaded with her father not
to tease her in front of everybody.

"I see you still care about animals." Elrond said, smiling at the memory
of the small elf-girl who made him tell her the names of every living
creature they found on their walks through the forest when the twins
needed to learn something or they simply went swimming when were but
children.

"Yes, my Lord. Very much" She acknowledged shyly.

Elladan shifted uncomfortably in his place suppressing the urge to roll
his eyes. What was it with maids and this... shy, blushing, giggling
thing? Did they consider it to be cute?! Turning his face slightly, he
noticed Glorfindel silently warning him to behave, so he decided that
staring at the floor would be much safer.

"I assume you must all be tired, Lindir will lead you to your quarters,
and I will see you at lunch, if not before."

Glorfindel´s mood was as terrible as Elladan´s. The only difference was
that eldeelder elf covered it masterfully, to the point of fooling all
the ones who knew him.

Elrohir´s grin was bright and happy. "You never mentioned Tywien was
going to come!" He reproached merrily to his father, who was discussing
some light last minutes issues with his acquaintance. "How long is she
going to stay?"

"Two years. Perhaps more" Elrond acknowledged quietly. "You will have
enough time to catch up with her. Do not worry." Chuckling at his
younger son's anxiety, his eyes went back to Glorfindel who was looking
rather stressed at the moment, although he was hiding it very
effectively.

"Come Elladan." Pulling his twin with him Elrohir disappeared into the

Part 19

Elladan freed himself from his twin's grip. Elrohir had been dragging
him from the main entrance, through the hallway and he was getting tired
of it. Actually he was tired of Elrohir´s excitement regarding his
*friend*. "I do not want to go." He complained, stopping stubbornly in
his place.

"Oh, please. Now you are a little older, do you not understand girls can

the last things in one of the drawers.

"Can I come in?" The young prince asked somehow shyly, making his friend
giggle.

"You know you can." Tywien smiled, whilst entering the room once again.

"Everythis ris ready, my Lady. If you need anything, do not hesitate in
asking any of the maids for it."

"Thank you, Lindir. And... you know you can call me by my name." She
smiled at the elder elf sweetly.

Lindir nodded in agreement as he marvelled at how the little girl he
used to take care of, with the twins had grown up to be the sweet,
charming mai was was looking at that precise moment. His gaze flipped to
