CH 14
Lord Elrond chuckled at her stern voice, “I suppose my darling! Larien may sleep in her room for the remainder of her healing. By the looks of her she has gotten her strength back in her very legs.”
Larien got so excited that she ran up to her father and hugged him. “Diola lle, Diola lle, (Thank you, twice.) Ada!” She was so thrilled to be out of the healinom tom that she lost her balance and Lord Elrond caught her before she fell.
Wide-eyed with concern, “Do not get yourself to overly excited my darling or your strength will drain.” Lord Elrond spoke rather worried.
“Oh, darling, your father is right, please be careful.” Lady Idril stated as she embraced both of the loves of her live.
A female voice popped in the healing room, “Do not forget me!” Arwen ran over to get in between the hug.
“Aww, Arwen we could never forget you, for you are the other half of my heart.” Lady Idril smiled at the two most important things in her life and Lord Elrond felt the same way. They all went up stair to get ready for bed as Larien ran into her room and jumped on the bed.
The next morning, Larien awoke early, got dressed and headed down stair for something to eat. When she reached the breakfast hall, the smell of Elven bread illuminated the air, sweetly. She was cooped up in the healing room for weeks and the servants brought food to her every day. Larien was very glad to be out of the healing room.
Larien reached out to get some honey bread, an apple and some tea. She looked around and spotted her father as she walked over to sit by him.
“Ada ‘Quel Amrun!” Larien spoke sweetly and her father put down what he was reading. She hugged him, then sat down next to him and starting sipping on her tea.
“Well, Good Morning, as well, Larien! I am actually surprised to see you up before lunch time.” He teased Larien and she giggled at his comment.
She smiled up at him, “Aye, you know father, I am up at the crack of dawn as you are in the wee early morning hours. I guess the apple does not fall far from the tree.” She teased him back as he laughed.
They joked a little more and enjoyed each other’s company. Larien finished up her breakfast and told her father that she would be outside for a little while. He agreed that it was all right and watched her leave as he finished up as well.
Before everyone awoke, Legolas was making his way back to Rivendell as he thought about the beautiful Larien and their kiss they shared. He wondered if she really loved him as well. All these thoughts of the unknown bounced around in his mind. Haldir was speaking to Amras when he noticed Legolas deep in thought. The Prince had never been so distracted in his life and wondered what he could be thinking about.
They finally reached the bordes sus sunset hit in the distance. They all rode fast to make it to the Palace of Rivendell. When they finally arrived it was in the middle of the night. The Elven guards greeted Haldir, Legolas and Amras when they dismounted from their horses. The guards put their horses in for the night and showed them to their chambers for the night.
Legolas fell fast asleep as he dreamed about Larien seeing him for the first time in about a month. As the morning hours approached he slept little and decide to get a bit to eat in the dining hall. He grabbed a little bread and an apple as he headed for the gardens.
Larien walked into the gardens to see someone that she had not thought of seeing in quite sometime. At first she stood their staring at the Elf that had stolen her heart. His blonde white hair, sky blue eyes staring at at her as well, this sent chills down her spine.
There he saw the Elven Maiden who took his very breath away, staring into hlue-lue-green eyes that looked like the ocean on a spring afternoon. She was so beautiful, the small petite frame, the blue dress that matched her eyes and the way she smelled intoxicated his mind. He smiled up at her, got up and started running towards her as she did the same.
They collided, like two ships in the night, as they stared into each others eyes, then Legolas could not take it anymore, the kiss that had haunted him every since he left. He needed another drink almost ashe nhe needed water to survive.
He reached down with his face and crashed a melting kiss into her mouth. His tongue entered desperately searching for her as she granted him access to her mouth and tongue. Larien’s whole body was on fire with this passionate kiss that stole her very breath away.
Her knees began to give way as Legolas felt this and held her up as their tongues danced a little longer. The sweetness of her mouth was too much for Legolas as he broke a way for air because he felt desire growing.
“My love, it’s been so long, I have missed you, so dearly, Larien of Rivendell. Feel my heart as it burns to be near you!” He picked up her hand and placed it on his beating heart.
Larien felt a tear release, “My darling, my very own heart mirrors what you feel in your heart.” Legolas reached up and dried her tear with his thumb.
Their sweet reunion was quickly interrupted by a scream and fighting in the distance. Legolas and Larien went running to see what the commotion was that they heard. When they neared the stables, Larien saw her mother fighting with a man in a cloaked hood yelling at her to come with hershe she will be killed.
Who is the cloaked man?....mmmmmm
