Cowgirls, a very long and hard ride!

Orlando immediately pushed Lady Lanwe away from him. His eyes were focused on Lady Chrissy’s body language. He saw the way she gathered her thing that she called a bra. He also noticed that she did not even look at him, not even a single glance or a hello and the aroma that was coming from her body was intoxicating.

Nervously, Orlando replied “It is not what it appears, Lady Chrissy, I promise.”

Chrissy looked right through him, “I am sure,” as anger filled her tone.

Lanwe stared at the lovely maiden, “My love, did you not tell her about us,” she lied through her teeth as she was jealous.

Lanwe’s thoughts, “What…I have competition with a woman….she has beauty like a she-elf…this has never happened in our kind…”

Chrissy smiled but gave him an eat shit and die look, “NO! He didn’t have too! I am sure the two of you will be happy together.” She stated rather pissed.

She gathered what dignity she had left and walked out of the room. She disliked men right now and started to run out in the gardens.

Anger hit Orlando’s face, “Why did you just tell her some none sense?” He asked, now furious at Lady Lanwe.

Lanwe snapped back, “I only told the truth. Wait,” she paused for a moment, “T’was that the maiden in your room last night,’” she knew that something was not quite right with the situation, “You’re in love with her, are you not?”

Orlando pushed her back, “How could you? This woman is everything to me…and you have just ruined something that was good to me! Once again Lanwe…you have made a mess out of every situation…GET AWAY FROM ME!” he stormed out of the room.

Lanwe spoke in shame, “I have made a mess out of this. I am so sorry, Orlando.” as she watched Orlando walk angrily out of the room.

Orlando ran after Lady Chrissy and he could not find her anywhere. He felt dreadful about the whole situation. As for Lanwe, he would have to deal with her later.

He thought, “She must think I am poison and a liar! I love this woman, how the heck could I have messed this up?”

Chrissy ran into the gardens and started to think about how stupid she was for letting her emotions get involved. She did not know some one else had followed her out into gardens. Her hands buried in her face as she realized what she had done.

She thought, “Gosh! I must be brainless…No wait…a dumb blonde! How could I have given him something that was so precious to me?”

Sobbing softly “I can’t believe how stupid I was to fall for him?” Chrissy stated while wiping her tears away.

Lanwe recalled the day that Orlando purpose to her and how she said yes out of respect. She could not love him in the same way that he loved her and it was all because of another in her life.

But when the day came for the two to wed as she could not choose between Orlando and her other lover. It was a big mess and if she married the Prince it would only end in disaster.

A tear slipped with the memories, “That was water under the bridge and I have to fix this,” she ran out of the room.

Earlier that day, Haldir had just left Jenny’s room to meet Lord Elrond for his early arrival into Mirkwood. He saw him approach and get off his horse.

Lord Elrond’s eyebrow rose, “What on Middle Earth happened to you? Did you venture in to the Black gates or did you get into a scuffle with a few Orc’s?” He chuckled, as he knew that one of the Maiden’s probably kept him up all night.

Haldir answered, “Mi Lord, I just had a long night last night~” He was cut off by Lord Elrond.

Lord Elrond spoke, “That is quite all right, Haldir! Please spare me the details. However, I am interested in the Young maidens that have arrived here. Please tell me more about them.” He stated.

“Lord Elrond, Those maidens are quite a handful and hard to keep up with here in Mirkwood. That is why I look a mess this morning, one in particular, Lady Jenny, this is her doings.” Haldir stated while he gave a smirk.

Lord Elrond chuckled, “I have never known an Elleth to have this kind of affect on you, Haldir, Merchwarden of the Golden Woods.” He stated with a little smile on his face.

Haldir regained his composer, “Lord Elrond, I can assure you that this is not an Elleth as she is a maiden from another world. Actually there are two, Mi Lord. The other is called Lady Chrissy, she has been with Prince Orlando and I have not spoken with her much. Besides, I would never fail my duties as a Merchwarden. I could never break my promise to Lady Galadriel.” He stated.

Haldir and Lord Elrond spoke a little more about the two captivating maidens. Haldir also showed Lord Elrond to his chambers and he left in search of Lady Jenny. He wanted to know what it would be like to have her control him.

Lord Elrond unpacked his things and headed out to find the Maidens that he so longed to speak too. He took a stroll through the gardens and came across a maiden talking to her self. He wondered if it was Lady Jenny or Lady Chrissy.

With concern, “My dear is something the matter?” A male voice asked.

Chrissy looked up and stated, “What does it matter? I thought it would be fun to come to Middle Earth. Now I seem to have made a mess out of things,” Then she realized whom she was speaking too, “Is it you, Lord Elrond of Rivendell?”

He answered, “My dear, thus is true, I am Lord Elrond. All your questions are about to be revealed in time with answers. The most important question is why you and Lady Jenny are here. I knew you were coming to Middle Earth and why you ended up with Orlando Greenleaf.”

Crossing her arms over her chest, “I really don’t care if I see that Jerk again. Let’s not talk about him.” She pleaded with him.

Doing as the lady request, “Lady Jenny and you are to take a Journey to Rivendell. We shall leave at the end of the week.” Lord Elrond stated.

Chrissy asked, “Let us leave right now. I am sure Jenny and I could be ready in a few moments.”

Lord Elrond knew that something was troubling her as his eyebrow rose up, “My dear, I think its best that you speak with Orlando. I am sure, it was all a misunderstanding.” He stated not really knowing what the situation was concerning.

Her nose turned up, “I do not want to hear his name ever again!” She stated rather childishly.

Jenny was walking by and heard her friend speaking to someone. She walked over and asked, “Whom do you not want to see again?”

Chrissy changed the subject, “Never mind that Jenny! You and I will speak about that later. Lord Elrond just told me that we are going on a Journey to Rivendell at the end of the week.” She stated.

Jenny’s eyes lit up like a Christmas tree, “The twins live there,” As lust clouded over her eyes, “Yummy twins! I have always wanted to see them naked, I mean meet them.” She said while she daydreamed.

Chrissy quickly kicked Jenny, “You do know that there father is standing right here!”

A mad look raced across Jenny’s face, “Ouch! Why did you go and do that?” She asked rather cranky, “Besides I know, Hi Lord Elrond!”!

Lord Elrond snickered at Lady Jenny! She reminded him of her mother just then. Lady Erwin was such a character as he thought about her beauty.

He thought, “Those dark features, her eyes and the way she carries herself. She is a sight to see as her mother was so long ago.”

Lord Elrond stated, “Well, hello Lady Jenny. Please excuse, I must be leaving now. It was a pleasure meeting you both.”

He quickly left and went to attend to some business with King Thranduil. Also, he thought about Lady Chrissy’s parents and how he wished he could have known them a little better. He recalled that day when she was born into there family. They were so happy to have a daughter and how her mother was equally as beautiful as Jenny’s mother.

Back in the gardens, “What has gotten into Chrissy?” Jenny asked rather concerned.

Orlando went out to the gardens to think when he over heard Lady Chrissy and Lady Jenny speaking.

Unhappy Chrissy stated, “I want to leave this place. Mr. Wonderful has turned out to be a Jerk,” Tears began to form, “He is seeing someone else. I walked in on the two. Do you know that she had him pinned against the wall?” She stated rather angry!

She gasped at what her friend told her, “What a pig! He doesn’t deserve you anyways,” Scolding her, “Remember I told you not to fall in love while you were here. It’s just better that way.” Jenny stated.

Orlando over heard and walked over, “Lady Jenny, I need to speak with Lady Chrissy. It is rather important and private.”

She started shouting, “NO! I do not ever want to see you again,” In a sassy tone, “Your high majesty or shalt I call you ‘The Great Prince Orlando Greenleaf?” Chrissy was going to storm off except Orlando grabbed her arm.

Orlando saw the stubbornness in her eyes, “Please listen to me! I need to explain to you what was happening in my chambers.” He stated as he released her arm.

Just then a voice broke in, “Yes, please listen to Orlando. This was all a miss understanding. Lady Jenny, will you walk with me to the dining hall please?” Lady Lanwe asked.

Chrissy turned to Lanwe, “HOW DARE YOU COME NEAR ME…you BOYFRIEND STEALER,” as she yelled.

Lanwe started to back away when she saw Lady Chrissy approach her with anger. She knew that the woman was quite mad with her intensions.

In her defense, Lanwe stated, “I meant no harm to you or Prince Orlando, Please except my apologies.”

Chrissy pulled her fist up and began to swing but someone grabbed her arm before she punched Lanwe in the face.

Orlando too saw what was about to happen as he raced over with Lady Jenny to help her with the feisty Lady Chrissy.

Jenny saw what was about to happy as she ran over to grab her friends arm before anything could happen, “That is quite enough Chrissy!” as she pulled Chrissy back with Orlando’s help.

Chrissy tried to squirm to get away, “Get your hands off of me…both of you, I won’t do anything, I promise!” so they let her go.

Lanwe was frightened for a moment, “I do not wish to fight with you, Lady Chrissy,” Then she asked, “Lady Jenny let us go this way” as the two let towards the dining hall.

Jenny was confused as she went with Lady Lanwe so Orlando and Chrissy could talk about what happened.

She glared at him, “Look Orlando GreenLeaf, your Highness, or whatever you want to be called. I don’t appreciate being treated like a play toy!” Chrissy stated with anger in her eyes.

He snapped back, “Is that what you think? Why are you being so stubborn? Lanwe is just a friend now…”

Anger hit her face, “Yeah, well, if you weren’t seeing her, why were you about to kiss her?” She stated harshly.

This aggravated Orlando, “She was trying to kiss me, please understand,” Then Chrissy broke in, “I don’t want to see you right now…” she stormed off.

Orlando knew that this was a mess and that she probably needed time to think things over. He knew that some how they would end up back together. Right now he was on his way to do some target practice to let off some of his anger.

As he was walking towards the Palace to get his bow and arrow he noticed Lord Elrond and Haldir. He had totally forgotten about there practice as he approached the two of them.

Jenny and Lanwe walked away from where Chrissy and Orlando were speaking. She knew that they needed to talk about what happened. However, Jenny wondered how Lanwe got in the picture.

Jenny asked, “How do you know, Orlando?”

Lanwe replied, “Orlando and I were set to commit ourselves to each other when I ran from him. I was not sure if he and I were supposed to be together. Then, I realized too late that I still wanted to be with him except he does not love me. But I am afraid he is in love with your friend, Lady Chrissy. He once told me that Lady Galadriel told him that he would meet a maiden from his past although she would not be of middle earth and she would steal his heart away. For a long time he did not believe that because we were in love. However, it felt different when I came back to him this time and I knew he was with someone new.”

Jenny stated, “That is why you don’t fall in love! Your heart is too fragile to let anyone have it. Guys are so stupid! When they get tired of you, they move on to the next hooker.”

Lanwe laughed at her comment, “Hooker, I am not familiar with that word.”

Jenny answered, “You have them here. I am sure. They are females who have sex with just anyone!”

Lanwe’s eyes lit up, “Yes those are wenches. Those females are looked down upon and most male Elves know where they can get that kind of sex!” She stated with a giggle.

Lanwe and Jenny spoke a little more when they arrived at the dining hall. They smelled all the wonderful and knew that it was time to eat as they gazed at all the great food.

Some thing really smelled good, as both of the girls were really hungry and knew that it was time to chow down. Jenny walked over to the large table with all sorts of breads, fruits, water and tea that lay on top of the table.

Jenny thought, “WOW! Everything looks so yummy!”

Chrissy stormed off to the dining hall where food was being served. She was starving and a little comfort food could do her a world of good right now. She walked inside, got a plate of food and looked around for her friend.

Jenny saw her friend come and was looking all around for a familiar face to sit with while she ate. She waived her hand over to her friend as Chrissy spotted her in the distance.

Chrissy looked all around and finally saw Jenny waiving her hand. But, she was sitting with Lady Lanwe. She shook her head and sat down at another table.

Jenny got this look of confusion as she could not figure out why she was not coming over to table. Lady Lanwe knew why and decided that it was time for her to leave the table.

Jenny got up and walked over the table, “What was that all about? Are you too stuck on yourself to sit with me and Lady Lanwe?”

Chrissy glared at her friend, “I just did not want to sit over there with her…she tired to seduce Orlando in his chambers…It would not have been pretty if I was over there.”

Jenny grinned, “Ha! Like you tired to do in the gardens? Well we will see if you can take on a She-Elf!”

Chrissy took a bite out of her bread and a sip out of her tea. She ignored Jenny’s comment and knew that she was at the top of her class. It did not matter if she could take Lady Lanwe or not, all that matter was that she was not going to sit by her and knowing that she had been with Orlando before.

Chrissy changed the subject, “I guess this tea will have to do! It’s not coffee or Hot Chocolate at all but it will do. It has caffeine in it. Also, this sure is some yummy bread.”

Jenny was finishing her bread, “It sure is good…” she decided to ask Chrissy her point of view, “So what happened when you walked in on them?”

Chrissy smirked, “Well…I saw Orlando giving into her seduction…he was about to let her kiss him when I walked in and well…I basically told him off…but the worst part is…the other night…I gave him…” Jenny cut her off, “No you didn’t,” her face turned ghost white, “Chrissy I am sorry…what a jerk…but I don’t think that he wanted Lady Lanwe…she said so herself.”

They were sitting there enjoying the breakfast as Haldir came over to sit by Lady Jenny. He looked over at Lady Chrissy who had similar features to the Mirkwood Elves. He thought she was incredibility beautiful as he looked into her Ocean blue eyes.

Chrissy saw Haldir gazing into her eyes almost as if he was trying to read her mind. She got uncomfortable at the long stare but it was just for a brief moment.

She thought, “If I stay here in any longer I might have to take the elf back to my chambers and show him a few moves of my own. Maybe that would make me feel better… Besides, Jenny likes him and would be pissed and I would feel like a slut…I miss Orlando all ready.”

Haldir wondered what was going through the young maidens mind. He could have sworn he felt some sexual tension that was going through her body as she looked back in his eyes. He noticed how her body shifted moods when something had changed her mind.

He smiled upon her and thought, “The things I could teach that maiden! Perhaps she could teach me a few things. I could never do that to Orlando Greenleaf. King Thranduil would have my head and so would Legolas. They would hunt me for the rest of my life and eternity would be too long to be hunted.” Haldir smirked as he saw her tense up at the glance.

Chrissy quickly excused herself, “Haldir, I have to check on something. I am sure that Jenny could keep you company as she started to exit the table. When she got up, he had gotten up, gathered her things as she thought it was a little strange.

Haldir answered, “Please do not leave on my account.”

Jenny broke in as she was so focused on eating that she did not realize that Haldir had come to the table. She lifted her head up to see her friend trying to exit the table.

Jenny stated, “Let her be, Haldir! Her mind is else where!”

Haldir observed as he sat back down, “She has been rather smitten with Orlando Greenleaf, foster son of King Thranduil.”

Jenny started to laugh, “Well, she is rather upset with him at the moment. Lady Lanwe came back into his life and let’s just put it this way, was not pretty when Chrissy walked in on them.”
Haldir’s eye rose, “Lady Lanwe is here?” as questions rose about her.

Jenny answered, “Yes, I talked with her a moment ago…wait,” she knew something was up, “You had a thing for her once didn’t you?”

Jenny’s thoughts, “I bet that is why Lady Lanwe broke off there engagement. She and Haldir were getting it on…wait until I tell Chrissy.”

Haldir knew that Lady Jenny had found out there secret and knew that it could not get out. He was glad when Legolas walked by with Lord Elrond and opened that they would be an exit to this conversation.

Lord Elrond spoke, “I hope I’m not interrupting, However, Haldir, I could use your assistant with planning out the Journey at the end of the week?” as he smiled at Lady Jenny.

Haldir thought, “By the Valar, I’m saved!”

Haldir replied, “Aye! Let us be on our way.” He answered as the two left the table.

Jenny smiled up at Legolas, “Well, have a seat…”

Legolas nodded, “I shall…After you finish…How about you and I take a stroll around the gardens?”

Grinning as she responded, “I would love too…” as she finished up her tea.

Jenny got up with Legolas and took her tray to the wash room. She emptied her trash and placed the tray on the table. The two began to walk out near the gardens.

Haldir and Lord Elrond were walking out of the Palace when they ran into Orlando. It was about time for the two of them to start practicing with the Elves who were just learning how to fight and defend Mirkwood.

Haldir stated, “Aye, Prince Orlando, are you ready to start our training?”

Orlando gave him a half smile, “Yes, it may help my anger.”

Haldir smirked, “Maiden troubles?”

Orlando changed the subject, “Lord Elrond of Rivendell, what brings you to Mirkwood?”

Lord Elrond replied, “I have business with the two females that arrived yesterday. Prince Legolas, your self and Haldir will be escorting the two back to Rivendell at the end of the week. However, I must take my leave as I have another engagement with King Thranduil,” he smiled and turned into the Palace.

Haldir grinned, “Shall we teach today?”

Orlando replied, “We shall…it may help me relief some of this tension.”

The two went off into the direction where they hold practice for the guards and newer male Elves who have come to age.

Chrissy walked out of the Palace and out by the lake. She sat down and began to think of all the things that had happened today. Time had passed by so fast that she did not realize that it had gotten mid-afternoon.

Jenny giggled over there conversation of Legolas’s child hood and how he had done silly things growing up. They knew it was getting late as they realized that the sun was going down.

Chrissy got up and began walking to the Palace when she over heard what some sort of drill team or some thing of that nature. She peaked over the bushes to see Haldir and Orlando training other Elves to fight in combat. This gave her an idea when she over heard Haldir state that they would pick back up in the morning.

Haldir yell out, “We shalt meet bright and early in the morning! Please do not be late…”

The male elves disbursed back to there homes and some of them were limping after a hard day. Some of them retrieved there armor and other items.

Chrissy ducked as she saw Haldir gazing his Elven eyes her way. She pulled back and began to walk back the way she came. However, to her surprise someone was following her from behind. She turned quickly to see a pair of eyes staring into her own.
