Legolas' Found Treasure

Not long after he left there was a gentle knock at the door. "Come
in." She called softly.

Elrond opened the door slowly and stepped in. He closed it before
aachiaching Narya. "Your husband told me that you wished to speak to
me." He said, his voice very soft.

Narya nodded. "He has hurt me and I am not sure what I should so."
She admitted. She loved Legolas with all her heart, but this was so
very hard to take.

Elrond sighed as he sat down beside her. "My child, the last thing
Legolas would want to do is to hurt you. He has told me about your
punishment, and how he left some bruises on you. He did not mean to
be that harsh, and he is sorry for it. Surely you must know all of
this."

"If it starts this way, will it get worse?" Narya asked, as if she
had not heard him. "I do not know, and now he refuses to let me
leave, though it is not a closet, I do not like being trapped like an
animal." She whispered. "I am frightened. That was pain like I had
never experienced on my backside, and I was very scared. Maybe next
time it will be a cane and then I will bleed." Narya commented,
thoroughly confused and frightened.

"No child, no. He will not make you bleed, and it will not get
worse. Do you know what hld mld me before I came to you? That never
again will he spank you as hard as he did today. He told me he would
cut his own hands off before he did that. He is very upset with
himself, Narya. I promise you that." He paused. "He healed you,
did he not?"

She nodded. "Did he truly say that?" She asked, looking up, now
concerned for her beloved.

"Yes he did say that. He is very sorry for being so harsh. But I
want you to think about something. He healed you. Did your uncle
ever do that for you after he beat you?" Elrond asked, rather point-
blank.

Narya shook her head no. "Never."

"Think about that Narya. Think about what it means. Legolas is a
good man. Y our uncle was not. Your husband made a mistake today,
and that is all. Though you did deserve the punishment, he did not
mean to be so harsh."

She nodded. "Thank you for your words." She said sincerely.

"You are welcome. I have made you feel better then, and to
understand what happened?" Elrond questioned gently.

"Yes." Narya said thoughtfully. "You have indeed."

"That is good, my child. I am happy I was able to help. I will
always be here for you when you need someone to talk to. As will
your husband." He added pointedly before rising and leaving her. He
left, and Narya stayed at the window seat, feeling trapped in her
room, wishing to find Legolas and tell him she was sorry and she
loved him more then life and forgave him, but she didn't dare.

Just at that moment Legolas walked in to find her sitting there on
the window seat. She looked beautiful with the sun streaming through
the window and playing its rays on her golden hair. He smiled as he
closed the door and took a few steps towards her. " Hi baby." He
said softly.

Narya ran into his arms, hugging him and kissing him several
times. "I love you so much and I forgive you and I'm so sorry!" She
cried, hugging him tight.

"I love you too baby." He said, thrilled to hear her say so. " And I
am so glad that you forgive me, and I forgive you as well." He
kissed her. "I truly did not mean to bruise you Narya, and I cannot
begin to explain how sorry I am, and how terrible I feel. I am
sorry. Never again will I spank you that hard. Never."

Narya melted into his arms, kissing him deeply. "I know, and I
forgive you. And I will try very hard to stay here in the room, even
though I hate being trapped. But I may leave for.... relieving
purposes right?" She asked sincerely.

Legolas laughed at that. "Of course you may, love. But I have
decided that you do not have to stay in here anymore if you do not
wish to. You have been punished enough today. I will not add to it
by making you stay in here. But please do not go into the forest
again, and please do not do the things you did before either." He
added quickly.

She bounced with happiness and hugged him tighter. "I love you!"

"I love you too baby. And to make up for spanking you so hard, I
will take you for a walk in the forest. Would you like that?"

Narya shook her head no very quickly. "No, no forest ever again!
And I just may burn the brush." She scowled at the evil thing.

"I suggest you not do that, my love." Legolas said firmly. "And why
do you not want to walk in the forest?"

She shrugged. "Trying to break a bad habit?" She suggested.

"You do not have to stay out of the forest all the time baby. I just
do not want you to go in it alone. Do undeunderstand?"

Narya nodded. "All right."

"Good. That's all you need to remember to stay out of trouble. Now,
would you like to go for a walk in the woods, or just around the
grounds of the house?" Legolas asked.

"The grounds. I've had enough of the woods for today." Narya
blushed.

Legolas smiled.ll rll right. But you were not spanked because of the
woods itself, but because you went into them. But if you wish only
to walk around the grounds, then that is fine with me." He took her
arm and led her out of the room, and for the rest of the afternoon
they walked around the grounds he Lhe Last Homely House of Elrond
HalfElven, taking in the beauty and wonders it had to offer.
