last chapter of a new pet. first the next part
Dûrchên walked calmly back to the house of the Golden Flower, now that he had gotten rid of the pet he knew that it was just a matter of time before he would be in the Lord’s bed. He had looked forward to this day for years, not only was the lord gorgeous beyond means, but being in his bed would give him the power he wanted. He had dreamed of being a great Lord and now that dream was finally in his reach and he would do anything to see that it happened.
As he walked into the courtyard he was met by Genius ,the captain of the House of the Golden Flower, and a handful of her guards. He knew at that moment he was caught. He turned to run and ran right into Lord Glorfindel and Lord Ecthelion both with their swords drawn. Unbeknownst to him the entire household had been called together for a head count after it was established that it was someone inside the house that had adducted Erestor. All were present expect Dûrchên.
“Where have you been Dûrchên?” Glorfindel asked through clinch teeth. There was not any doubt in his mind that Dûrchên had taken Erestor he just hoped that he was still alive.
“I went to a tavern m’lord after our conversation this afternoon, is something amiss?”
“Erestor seems to be missing.” Ecthelion supplied as he draw his sword to lie across Dûrchên shoulder. “I do not suppose you would know any thing about that?” Ecthelion add drawing his sword closer to Dûrchên neck in a threaten manner.
“As I said I was at a tavern Lord Ecthelion since this afternoon, I have not seen Lord Glorfindel’s pet, sir.” Dûrchên replied.
“And what tavern were you at?” Ecthelion asked.
“I was at the Tavern of Harps, sir” Dûrchên supplied.
Glorfindel looked to Genius saying, “Send a guard to verify that he was indeed there from this afternoon until now.”
“Wait m’lord I was thrown out a few hours ago, I passed out in the stables next to the tavern, I do not know if any saw me.” Dûrchên hurried to add. He plan was going the way it was suppose to go. They were not supposed to have missed the wrachten pet this fast, he had to do something to throw them off. “Maybe he is with that ellon that he was talking too.” He tired.
Glorfindel to a step toward him while saying, “what ellon?”
“I saw him talking to an ellon when I was on my way to the tavern.” He replied.
Glorfindel’s whole world swam for a moment, could Erestor had staged his disappears. Could he be now in the arms of another? NO! He would not believe it, someone took him, and he vowed to find out.
“Who was this ellon” Ecthelion asked. He did not believe for one moment that this ellon existed.
“I do not know Lord Ecthelion; it was not an ellon I have seen before.” Dûrchên replied.
“This is a small city; I would think that everyone would have at least seen everyone else. You are stating that you had never seen this elf before, but it did not occur to you, a guard of this city, that this may be someone who you should have questioned being here.” Genius asked?
“The ‘pet’ seemed to have known him.” Dûrchên responded back.
“Did anyone “but” you see this unknown elf that you did not see fit to alert anyone too.” Ecthelion demanded.
“I---I – I am not sure Lord Ecthelion.” Dûrchên responded.
“Enough of this, Genius take Dûrchên into custody, at the very least he endangered the city in not reporting the appearance of a strange elf.” Glorfindel demanded.
The captain of the guards stepped forward to take him into custody when the elf panicked and took off running. Not paying attention to where he ran he ran right into the drawn sword of a guard. All held their breaths as the Dûrchên slowly pulled himself off the sword. Falling to the ground he looked to Glorfindel and said with his last breath. “I will die knowing that if I could not be with you then that sorry excuse of an elf will never be with you again.” With that he died.
Glorfindel fell to his knees screaming his anguish in knowing that he would never know what happened to his beloved.

Characters: Erestor, others to be add as the story continues
Erestor wondered aimlessly for days, not know where he was, and most of the time who he was do to the high fever he had develop do to he injuries. He stumbled down a small hill to land in a small brook. Crawling his way across the watery embankment he passed out in the muddy slope of the stream. He was on the edge of consciousness when he felt as if he was moving. Up, down, side to side, up, down, side to side as he slipped deeper back into unconsciousness he thought he could see a young woman beside him.
Samantha rocked to the motions of the wagon that her grandfather Jed was driving. She could not take her eyes from the beauty of the man lying beside her. She had never seen one of such beauty. His fever was high, and with the injuries he had it was lucky he was asleep during the time that her brother Samuel and her grandfather were loading him in the wagon. She wondered who could hurt someone as beautiful as the being beside her. Her only prayer was that they would make it back to their village in time for Naiad, their Village’s healer to look after his injuries. Naiad was a gifted healer, there were some in the Village who called her Weepingnaiad for her life was filled with great tragedy, but the children knew her for being a wonderful story teller.
(Weepingnaiad walks on to her walk on role in this story as the one that came up with the name of the horrorable elf that hurt our beloved Erestor. Many thanks to her for her help, you well she her in many of the coming chapters as the healer Naiad. I am sorry it took me so long to get this next part out.)
