Unfortunatly, Faramir did have to answer to Elrond's bidding. Something that he wasn't too particularly happy about. Lena however, found it quite amusing to see her friend smitten and sore that his lover had been stolen away. Travis however, didn't find his unhappiness near as funny as Lena did, posing her the question; "Wait until Lego goes home, and then we'll see how happy you are."

A load of bricks sacked Lena. It hadn't crossed her mind that Rivendell wasn't Legolas' home, and that he would eventually be leaving. Without her. She probably didn't have long, how long could he be away from his people before the prince was missed? Surely he couldn't bring a human woman home with him when he did.

"Human is such a narrow word." Travis called from the off-room where he was dressing, knowing the thoughts he had brought to her. "Too narrow a thing for me to explain.. we should pay a visit to Elrond." He re-entered the room wearing floor length black leather vest, leather leggings and boots. His hair was still shaggy, but looked neater somehow, she didn't know if she'd ever seen his hair brushed, but she smirked silently at the short braid of blue hair which hung near the back of his head. Some people couldn't be changed. His appearance sent a tremor through her though, he looked more an emmisary from a foreign peoples than a friend who was trying to help her. And all his talk of 'narrow words' had her quite lost.
"Dress," he commanded softly. "it's about time you heard what Elrond has to teach you."
She didn't like the sound of it, and she certainly didn't appreciate being commanded about. Something in his voice made her comply though. She quickly slipped on a silver dress, it's fabric slinking over her body. She tied her rope belt loose around her hips, and obeyed Travis' silent command as he took her hand, leading her toward Elrond's study.
Travis placed one sharp knock against the door before opening it. Elrond and Faramir stood, and Lena wondered if this was all a trick for him to see Faramir. Her doubts fell as she watched Elrond and Faramir exchange parting words, because when Faramir turned to Travis, his eyes fell.

Faramir could see in Travis' eyes, all the fear he held toward what Elrond was going to tell the girl. As he neared them on his way out, he paused before Travis, slipping a hand up to the back of his neck and pulling him close into a half embrace. A sign that Faramir's heart would be with him through this, though his body could not be. The moment of relief that Travis felt died as soon as the door closed behind Faramir though, and he began to dread his decision to have brought Lena here in the first place.
Elrond had until now remained quiet. He had watched the exchange, but he knew of his fosterlings liking of the steward and it troubled him not. What troubled him was the confusion in the eyes of the young woman before him, and the fear, and regret in the eyes of his fosterling.
Travis took a deep breath, standing behind Lena's chair as Elrond baid her to sit and then followed suit. He couldn't sit when his truest friendship was about to be tested. He had known he couldn't lie to her forever, but he'd held the illusion that just maybe he could..
