Chapter 110

The Fire Dance

Ch110

Glorfindel's frown became more pronounced with every cupboard he
opened "They are all full...every single one of them. There is enough
food here to last us several months!"

Erestor walked over and sighed "I know I have no record of anyone
building a cabin and living in this area"

The seneschal growled as he closed the small doors "This is not
Someones cabin Rabbit, this is Our cabin"

"What do you mean"

"What I mean is, Mandos made this and forced our occupying it...Look
at the foods here, they are all yours and my favorites"

Erestor drew close as lightning struck close to the small structure
"Why! Why would he do this!"

Glorfindel shook his head as he sighed "Obviously he thinks we need
some Alone time"

"But...but what of Torfindel! He will be alone, he has never been
without us!"

The golden warrior pulled Erestor close and kissed the top of his head
"I would not worry about Gwee, Mandos cares a great deal about him, he
would make sure that someone is caring for him"

Torfindel blinked in shock when Elrond finished telling him about what
Mandos did with his parents "But...but who will I stay with while they
are gone?"

Elrond sighed as he placed a comforting hand on his shoulder "You are
to stay alone. Mandos stated that you are capable and against my
better judgment, I will allow it. Though I Will be checking in on you.
So behave yourself Gwee"

Torfindel swallowed hard when Elrond left the chamber, then slumped
back on the long chair "Wha...well, well what am I suppose to do Now!"

Elladan and Rumil sat on the ground with their sons, watching the
Avari closely as group after group arrived and sat down around several
small fire pits......

"They eat like this at every meal"
"Aye, this area is their dining hall...well...dining uh...clearing"
"Every fire pit cooks a different food, and you go from pit to pit and
eat and chat"
"This space has fish, the one over there has rabbit, and the one over
there has vegetables, and the one over there has fruit, though that fire
is just for show because they don't cook the fruit of course, and the
one over there has..."

Elladan held up his hand "Aye it has pheasant, I can see. You say they
do this roaming visitation at every meal?"

The twins both nodded and Rumil smiled "I like it. It reminds me of
when we would switch posts in Lothlorien, we usually did that during
meal time and would relax and catch up on news while we ate...though not
as a massive gathering"

Both Elladan and Rumil turned when they noticed the large smiles on
their sons faces, then dropped their jaws as Aglar walked up. Clearing
his throat, Elladan arched his brow "You uh...you look rather nice in
a loincloth Aglar"

The red warrior crossed his arms over his chest "Uh-huh"

"Nay really, you look OW! Ru why did you hit me!"

Rumil narrowed his eyes as he got up and walked off "He looks Rather
Nice ay? Fine!"

As Aglar sat down next to Taurath, he shook his head "Smart Ella"

The elder twin blinked confused "What did I do!"

Taurath sighed as he grabbed some fish "You commented upon another's
appearance"

Not long after he had left, Rumil returned and sat down...wearing only
a loincloth.

Elladan slowly moved closer and tentatively placed his hand on his
mates knee "My comment was not...I...I am sorry Ru, you Know you are
the only one in my eyes...I was teasing Aglar"

Rumil sighed as he slowly placed his hand over his mates "Even though you
have had elflings with me, I am still much younger then you and...and
from time to time I fear that...that..."

Elladan swiftly pulled him close "There is no other for me Ru...you
are My mate"

Rumil calmed, then smiled "You know, I would like to see You in a
loincloth and..."

"Eww Ada!"
"Aye! Eww...do you Have to do that here?"

Elladan chuckled as he gently caressed his husbands cheek "Oh come now
Ru, you Know the Avari do not have enough fabric to make me a proper
loincloth!"

As the meal progressed and they wandered from fire to fire, Taurath
suddenly moved close to Aglar.

When the eldar passed, Aglar rolled his eyes "You need not do that
Taurath, I am mated...your leader...."

"Saes, he fears that your Adar will come and be angry"

"But I am Mated, nothing will happen between us! And besides, my Adar
has better things to do then come here and upset...*Sigh*...saes
Taurath, relax"

The young warrior slowly stood and took a deep breath "I am going to
go back to our flet then, I have arrows to make"

After he left, Aglar saw the confused looks on Elladan and Rumil's
faces and told them about what the Avari leader had ordered the young
warrior to do

Elladan blinked in shock "You mean he...he offered him as...he was to..."

"Aye, he is mine to 'keep', if you get my meaning"

Rumil tilted his head and leaned forward "But what about when we
leave. Is he still to be...uh...yours?"

"I am unsure"

Returning after evening meal, Torfindel sighed at how empty the
chamber felt without his parents.

Walking over to their bedroom, he began to lightly chew on his lower
lip, then ran his fingers over Glorfindel's storage chest.

Looking around as if making sure no one was watching, he slowly lifted
the lid, then tilted his head when he noticed a large stack of
letters. Picking them up, he moved to his parents bed and furrowed his
brow "They are all to lord Cirdan? He must have given them back when
Ada...when Ada returned to life"

curiosity getting the better of him, Torfindel untied the bundle and
began to read......

Cirdan,
The little bunnies are doing well. I have been able to release two of
them, but the third one is still to weak. Adar came home from patrol
today and found me tending to it and was not pleased. He told me that
I should not have interfered and should have let nature take its
course. I told him how it was orphaned due to warrior killing its
Naneth but he still took the bunny and put it outside. I pleaded with
him to let me care for it...so he gave me a blanket and put me outside
with the bunny and locked the door. I slept in the garden with the bunny.
~Your friend Glorfindel

Torfindel blinked, then looked at his fathers handwriting more closely
"Ada could not have been much older then I am...if not younger"

Looking at the stack, he noticed that the dates were in order and
picked up another letter....
