"Why do they call them cocktails? Cocks don't have tails, do they?"

"Maybe we should check yours later..." Orli grins at Atti, hand on his thigh. Dom watches this with a sick feeling in the pit of his stomach. He'd been all for Orli's friend joining them on a night out, showing them around what he knew of Berlin, but now he is starting to regret that he hadn't kept Orli to himself. He consoles himself with the thought that he and Orli are sharing a hotel room that night. If his friend doesn't decide to go back with Atti.

Something blue passing in front of his eyes catches his attention and he turns to stare at the glass Orli is now lifting to his lips. "What the fuck is that?"

Orli shrugs. "Atti it, it, I don't know what it's called. He got you one too."

"Where is he, anyway?"

"Probably throwing his guts up somewhere. He's crap at taking his drink."

"Unlike you, eh?" Dom eyes Orli's swaying motion and shakes his head. He pushes his own cocktail away, further up the bar. It's the third one he hasn't drunk tonight. He keeps pushihem hem towards Orli and the other man is drinking them without even wondering where they came from. Dom thinks tonight is going to be fun. Spent watching Orli throw up, more than likely.

Then Atti is back, coming up behind Orli and circling arms around his waist. Orli leans back against him, laughing when Atti kisses his neck sloppily, leaving a shiny wet trail of saliva on his skin. Dom turns away, lifts his hand to get the bartenders attention. He jumps when Orli grabs his hand and pulls it down.

"What're you doing, mate? You've got a drink already."

He looks round and Orli is giving him that wide-eyed child look he always uses to get what he wants. Atti has his head resting on Orli's shoulder, still stood behind him, and is giving Dom pretty much the same look. He ignores it. "Yeah, Orli. I don't drink anything that matches the colour of my eyes.."

He gets up and heads for the toilets, not wanting to argue with anyone. He's only in there a couple of seconds before the door opens and Orli comes in, asking him what's wrong.

"Why should anything be wrong?" Dom asks. "I just don't want to get completely pissed, that's all. Some of us are here to work."

"I know for a fact you aren't doing anything tomorrow. You've got no excuse."

Dom doesn't say anything, just looks at the door rather than Orli.

"Is it Atti? Don't you get on with him?"

That makes Dom meet his friend's eyes. "What? No, there's nothing wrong with Atti. He's fine. Of course I like him. I just... I just don't like cocktails that much, that's all."

"You liked them fine in New Zealand."

"Well, that was New Zealand. I've grown up a bit since then."

Orli smiles. "Yeah, you're right. You have." There is a few minutes' silence, then, "do you think we should get back to Atti? Before he wonders what two blokes are doing in the men's room that's taking so long?"

Dom doesn't even laugh at that. He's not sure if Orli meant it to be funny, either. He just nods and follows Orli back into the pounding bass of the club, back to the bar where Atti is waiting to wrap his arms around Orli again. Only he doesn't, because Orli shrugs him off and knocks back his drink before heading onto the dance-floor. Dom sees Atti giving him a curious look as he follows. He doesn't know what he's doing, (just having a dance) or where it might lead, (probably nowhere) but he\lad lad that Orli is giving him a chance mig might take him a while to take advantage of it, but when the time is right...

Well, he might.
