Of Love and Sacrifices

Viggo could not wait to get home. Before he left that morning, Orlando asked him if they could do the grocery afterwards. Orlando is still hesitant to go out alone by himself yet and Viggo would also not allow it in the first place. He tried to call several times but nobody’s answering the phone. Orlando is also not answering his cell phone. Viggo’s initial thought was that Orlando went out with the baby in the park. But then again, Orlando does not want to go out without him.

Viggo called the nurse and he was bothered when the nurse told him that Orlando stayed in the house. Upon knowing this, Viggo immediately went out to go home. Something is wrong. He can feel it.

Viggo hurriedly went home. The nurse was already at home. And Viggo can clearly see the worried look on her face.

“Mr. Mortensen….”

“Where’s my husband?” Viggo immediately asked.

“I… I don’t know… When we went home… the main door is open….And I haven’t seen him anywhere…”

Viggo could feel blood rushing to his head. This is not good. “Where’s Micky?!”

“He’s sleeping… in his room…”

“Go to my son, don’t ever leave his side… no matter what happens…” Viggo ordered. ‘Don’t panic… he could be somewhere… he could just be somewhere… he will be back soon…’ Viggo tried to calm himself. His hands were trembling as he attempted to dial the numbers of their family and friends.


“Your husband must be pretty worried…. You little slut…” Simon said as he looked at the sleeping form in the bed. The man he hired placed Orlando on the bed and Simon told him to stay outside. Simon was standing near the bed. “But not for long… he will forget about you… and I will have him to myself… like I deserve…. I was his life… and I am supposed to be in your place…. He loved me…. And I know he still does.”

Orlando stirred and weakly opened his eyes. He did not recognize his surroundings. He’s in a bed… and he saw somebody… Simon…

“S- Simon….” Orlando uttered weakly. He tried to stand.

“Don’t tire yourself… The drugs won’t wear off until after two hours.” Simon explained.

“W- what d- do you w- want?” Orlando asked. He could not move. His whole body felt so weak.

“You know what I want… What I deserve! Without you, Viggo would come back to me…”

“Y- you’re crazy…”

“Yes I am! I’m crazy about Viggo! He’s everything to me!” Simon said as he forcefully lifted Orlando’s chin. “You destroyed everything! You and your son! Well… Your son may be excused… Since I can no longer have any kids… I can raise him as my own. But you… I have to get rid of you…”

“Please… l- let me go… I’ve done nothing…” Orlando tried to get away from Simon’s forceful grip.

“Nothing?! You stole Viggo from me!”

“I… I did not…. Y- you l- left him….”

“But I’m back… and I will claim what is rightfully mine! And you…. You will regret in trying to take my Viggo from me! I have great plans for you... I will make it sure that after this, Viggo would not even want to look at you!”

“W- what d- do you mean?....” Orlando asked fearfully.

“You could have lured Viggo with that pretty face of yours… and your virginal tight ass! Well… before I do something to your face… we can start doing something with that tight ass first… Guess what… There are men waiting outside to have their turns on you… You can be their bitch… I know you’re used to this. So you might as well enjoy it.”

“N- No… Please…. Simon… not this… please….”

“You should have known the consequences in messing up with me!” Simon said as he started removing Orlando’s clothes.

“Stop… please….” Orlando tried to stop Simon. But he does not have the strength to fight him.

After a while, Simon was able to remove all his clothes. Then Simon took a white long shirt and made Orlando wear it. “ White… represents cleanliness… I just can’t wait for this shirt to be filled with blood and semen!”

“Simon… please… don’t do this…. Please… h- have mercy… Please….” Orlando is already crying. He knew he can do nothing to stop Simon from doing what he wants. Nobody can help him here. He could not imagine going through that experience again. After what those men did to him, it took him a long time to start healing emotionally. He’d rather die than such things be done to him again.
“Look at you… Nobody could tell that men took turns in raping you before… No external sign of that experience….And Rita tried everything just to hide what happened from the public eye. But don’t worry… slut. This time… I will make sure of it that everybody will know what you will be going through… You remember this, Orlando… I will not let the men stop from using you unless you’re left broken beyond repair! In that case, Viggo will never want you!”

“Please… I have a son…” Orlando pleaded.

“Don’t worry… I will take good care of him… you don’t have to worry about Little Micky… I will love him as my own…And don’t worry about Viggo, too. He will be well taken cared of.” Simon said as he took one of Orlando’s ankles and attached a metal chain on it. “Orlando… enjoy your stay in this little prison of yours.”

Orlando tried his best to move. But the drug is keeping him immobile. If he could only move, he will kill himself. He would rather choose to kill himself than suffer again.


“Boss… what are you going to do now?” The man Simon hired to help him kidnap Orlando asked.

“The little bitch… I can see it in his eyes… he was so afraid…. He really thought that I have men waiting here… I really am enjoying this.” Simon replied smiling to himself.

“He’s really beautiful… Just tell me and it would be an honor to take him over and over again…” The man said lustfully. “You said he just gave birth… I would love to father another child with him… Boss… please… I promise I won’t let him go… I promise I will keep him hidden from anybody… He will be chained in that room forever… and I will gladly take him every night…and we will have children….”

“Stop it… I am not that evil! He may be my enemy but I do not consent to such vile things! I will torture him mentally until he becomes insane! Just letting him think that men here are waiting to have their turns in him will let him go crazy! And when he’s gone mad… Viggo would no longer want him!”

“But boss… he is irresistible… y- you just took him here to… to torture him… mentally?! Boss… he will go crazy sooner if you will let me take him… in that way…we will all be happy!”

“Don’t you ever dare attempt to defy my orders, Bruno! Don’t feed him…He will get hungry… and I will just administer more drugs into his system… then I will visit him and I will play my game…” Simon can’t wait. He is also planning to release Orlando in a matter of days… depending on when he will go insane… he will threaten him and drug him… because he knew that Orlando has not yet fully recovered from his painful experience, it won’t be long before he succeeds. Then he will just release him in the streets… where people would find him… if he could no longer recognize anybody… and he will of no use to Viggo. But his threat of destroying that beautiful face still stands. He will mark him… a gentle reminder of what happens to anybody who messes with Simon Smith.

Simon could smell victory.

After giving the man a warning of what will happen if he defies his orders, and locking the door to where he keeps Orlando, with only him having the keys, Simon decided to go out.


“Simon!” Viggo shouted upon seeing Simon. He went to his house.

“V- Vig… baby…you came back…” Simon said pretending to act innocently. Viggo’s response was to pin Simon hard on the nearest wall with one of his hands on his throat.

“Where’s my husband?!”

“Vig… s- stop…” Simon was choking.

“Viggo, stop it! You’re going to kill him!” Sean tried to remove Viggo from Simon.

“W- why?... w- what….happened?”

“Don’t pretend you don’t know! Where is Orlando?! What have you done?! I swear if you hurt him… I’m going to kill you myself!”

“Vig.. p- please… I… I did nothing… please….Baby… y- you know me… I… I would never do such a thing!” Simon tried to explain.

Viggo momentarily released his hold on Simon and slumped on the ground.

“Viggo… we will find him…” Simon assured him. “I … I’m angry at him for stealing you from me… b- but you know I would never do such a horrible thing! Yeah, I admit it was hard for me to accept the fact that you chose him over me… but Viggo… if I would want to harm him… I could have done it before! I could have done it earlier when I know I could still win you… But I didn’t… After you told me that you loved him at the hospital… and that you chose him… I drowned in my own misery! And I realized that you and him are already married… and there’s nothing else that I can do! I tried to move on… and I’m doing good….now that I’m starting to live my life without you… you will rush into my place and start accusing me of doing such unimaginable thing!!!” Simon was crying.

“I… I’ve searched everywhere… I… I can’t find him…” Viggo said crying.

“Viggo… we…we will find him… I will help you… I am still your friend…” Simon consoled Viggo as best as he could. He hugged him and the other man hugged back and cried some more.


Simon went with Viggo and Sean that day. They looked everywhere. But still no trace of Orlando.

It was already late when the three decided to part ways.

“I have to go home to get some stuff… I will be back, Vig… I promise I will help you find him…” Simon told Viggo.

“You have to rest for a while, Vig… be with your son… I will also go home to change and I will be back soon.” Sean also said.

“I would not be able to sleep unless I know that my husband is safe. W- what if… what if those men who… No… please… no…” Viggo could not help but feel terrified of the thought.

“Viggo, stop it! Please don’t think about it!” Sean tried to calm his friend.

“Please… help me find him… I will die if I lose him…” Viggo said wearily.

“We will find him Vig… Orlando will return to you, safely….” It was Sean.


Simon was happy with the development. Viggo trusted him. Now he can easily do the rest of his plans. He brought with him the drugs. Viggo would never know that he is keeping Orlando. He decided to drop by the place where he kept the younger man before going back to Viggo.

He did not notice someone following his car…


“How is he doing?” Simon asked as he entered the safe house.

“He’s already wide awake. The drugs have wore off and he has been begging for me to open the door. But since I don’t have the keys… I just listened to his pleas.” Bruno replied.

“That’s good. Here… open the door… I have to administer the drugs to him… Then I will start the mental torture again…”

“Boss… can I….”

“No! As I’ve told you… You try something and you’re dead!”

Simon took his medical kit with him. But before Bruno could even open the door to the small room, Simon was shocked to hear a gun shot. He was not able to react when he saw Bruno falling bloodied on the ground.

“I knew it was you…”

“Sean….” Simon didn’t expect this.

“How could you do this, Simon?... How could you do this to Viggo?...” Sean was pointing the gun at Simon.

“Sean… please… we’re friends… right?... You.. you know how much I love Viggo… I can’t live without him… please Sean…” Simon tried to beg. He is just bidding his time.

“ You and your sick plans…. I would never allow you to hurt Orlando!”

“Sean... w- we both know that y- you love him… Sean… w- we can plan this out… You know… I.. I love Viggo… and you love Orlando… Listen to me… t- this is our only chance… Y- you can have him…take him away from here… Viggo would not know… “ Simon tried to convince Sean. “Y- you know…if.. if Viggo’s around… Orlando would never fall for you… b- but if you take him with you… you can make him fall in love with you… You and Orlando will be happy… and Viggo and I will be happy… w- what do you think?...”

Simon can see that Sean is thinking, but he did not expect Sean’s next words. “ N- No… You will pay for what you tried to do, Simon…. for even trying to hurt Orlando! He’s been through a lot already! And all of you are only causing him so much pain!”

Simon was not able to react when Sean took his medical bag. “Don’t ever try to move, Simon!” Sean ordered as he took the drugs that Simon brought with him. There were at least five different drugs on the kit.

“Sean… w- what ware you doing?!” Simon became terrified when he saw Sean preparing the drugs.

“What do you think, Simon?! You wanted to give this to Orlando right?! Now, I will give them all to you at the same time!”

“N- No… Sean… I… could die! D- don’t do this!’

“You should have thought about that when you planned all these! Now stay still or I will pull the trigger!”

“Sean.. nooo….”
Sean injected at least three different drugs into Simon. When he noticed that the other man is already unconscious and breathing heavily, he immediately opened the door to where Orlando is kept.

Orlando heard a gun shot and muffled voices. He could hear shouting. But he could not clearly comprehend their conversation. He was so afraid. He just wants to get out of the place. After sometime, the place went silent. Then the door opened. He was surprised to see Sean.

“Sean!” Orlando shouted with hope in his eyes. He could not believe that Sean would find him here.

“Orlando… are you okay? D- did he hurt you?” Sean immediately went to Orlando’s side and hugged the younger man. He checked on him for any injuries.

“No… I- I’m okay… Please… just get me out of here… please…”

Sean immediately released him from the chain. Orlando hurriedly took his clothes and started dressing.

“I was so afraid nobody would find me… Simon said… Simon said he will send men to… to…” Orlando was not able to continue. He started crying.

“It’s okay… you’re safe now…” Sean said as he comforted the younger man.

“Please… let’s go… I want to see Viggo… I want to see my husband… he must be pretty worried…”

Orlando was not able to notice the change in Sean’s expression when he mentioned Viggo.

“Let’s go…” Sean replied as he led Orlando out of the room. Orlando saw Simon unconscious on the floor, and the other bloodied man.

“Sean…”

“Don’t worry… they will live… We have to get out of here soon… We’ll just call the police on our way…” Sean said as he held Orlando’s hand and led him to the car.


The two already left the place and were on their way.

“Sean… I… I need to call Viggo… I have to tell him I’m alright….c- can I borrow your phone?...” Orlando asked Sean.

“We will be getting there soon… you don’t have to call him… You should be thanking me instead… It was me who saved you… not Viggo! not your husband! Don’t you see it?!” Sean was becoming irritated. Orlando has been asking for Viggo all these time!

“Sean…” Orlando did not expect that reaction from Sean. He fell silent… and terrified.

Sean continued to drive silently. After a while, Orlando noticed something.

“Sean… I… w- where are we going?... T- this is not the way to my house….”
