Well at least Haldir tried to be diplomatic about the fat thing. Tried being the word here. Legolas can't help the hormonal upheaval. I wonder of Haldir had any idea of what he was getting himself into.
That was a nice physical and romatic moment there. And the first signs of life. Whooppeee. Those are the high points you wait for. It somehow makes up for all the other not so great things you have to put up with.
Food cravings are not a fun thing. I always wanted things like steamed broccoli. I hate broccoli and never eat it. It was so strange. But yeah when it hits you gotta have it no matter how weird or how hard to come by.
This will be interesting. Legolas might be glad Haldir is gone or he might fall apart. You never know from one minute to the next.
I love 'Fin's reaction. You almost killed me last time. 'Mil's not much better but at least Haldir has a wife and baby to be sitter lined up so bring it on. We can sit on the sidelines and take bets as to who makes out best in the marital fight department. My bets are on Legolas. He doesn't have those killer eyes that can fill up with tears for nothing.
Your newest chapter and your life have the same name right now. Stress. I think your homework and assignments take precedence over your fiction wrliting. Sigh. I can't believe I had to say that. Whatever crumbs of your time you have left over we will have to be content with. Just stay healthy and your little dog too (probably your big dog but I wanted to quote the Wicked W of of the West).

Great chapter, especially 'Have a nice day' and the strutting about bit. Nice touch with the mural as well. How long until we get the next chapter?

Awww, how sweet a nursery with a mural of Mirkwood on it. The boys did a good job of making Legolas happy. It's very true about guys getting all pumped up when their wives get pregnant. But I seriously doubt they'd be like that if they had to be the ones to carry the baby. Ooooh, the double edged 'Honestly, am I fat' question. No matter how Haldir answers he is gonna get in trouble. "No" means he's liein"Yes"Yes" means he thinks I'm fat. How is Haldir going to get out of that one. *squeals* You're a twin. I'm a twin, too. Are you identical or faternal? I'm identical. Please keep going with this story. Don't worry about taking your time, I don't think this story would be as good if you rushed through it.

The male psyche is weird. Those XY chromosomes are wired to be nuts. That is the scientific explanation.
So you are a twin. Fraternal twins run in my family. My sister had twin girls but I had a onesie or a lonely only. She likes it cause she gets all the stuff.
Good Haldir got the trainees on the floor. No she-elf or maternal should have to put up with that cr*p. Being MarchWarden can be good. More respect for Legolas for living with him too. That was a nice touch.
Oh what fun. Decorating the nursery. The brothers were just so sweet to do all that work. Especially the bears dressed up for hunting. Quite the WoodElf touch. The mural was also nice. Got Mirkwood in there too. That old nesting instinct thing is so real and a little scary. Also the crying jags. I hated that because I hate to cry. It gives me a headache.
Parenting is truly a seat of the pants endeavor. You just learn as you go. I was incredibly serene about the whole process. I was 39 and had helped a lot of friends with their kids so I just enjoyed mine. Legolas is kind of young for all this but you know as long as you love them they turn out OK. You can do lots of things wrong but they just need lots of love and attention. Not things, possessions or pampering. Good solid guidlines and affection.
Do I look Oh Oh what a loaded question. There is no good answer for this one. Haldir's goose is cooked big time no matter what he says.
