I love the description in the Way of the Trees. Having competed in pole bending myself, I swear you described my horse! Although I'm not that good!

O.O
Oh wow...That was unexpected, the little part at the end about Finrod. Had me ogling at the screen nonstop for like five minutes. ::whistles in awe:: Hey, by the way...nice touch, showing how Haldir spoke to Ellonur. Makes me wonder if you'll be giving more attention to those two or not.
Reading this chapter and the last few ones made me happy...::huggles Legolas and gives him cookies:: I am, however, afraid that after all of this well-deserved happiness for Legolas, bad stuff's gonna happen...
I can only wait for your updates and see what happens, of course. Can't wait! Please update soon. And happy new year.

You're welcome. ::bows::
Sorry for the late (and rather short) review. Heading out for college in a few moments. Just came to drop in a word before I get too busy.
AWESOME chapter. I LOVED the cutesie Haldir-Legolas interaction in this one. It amused me how, just a couple of chapters ago, I hated Haldir's guts with a passion, yet now he is making me aww and squee out like the fangirl I am.
Awesome chapter, I repeat. Waiting for the next update.

This is a great story and I am enjoying the heck out of it. I have to hope you have written something a little more conventional because I have a friend who enjoys stories written by people who understand the emotions, desires and needs that drive others and she would so enjoy this story if she had the same tastes in reading that I do. I would like very much to share your writing with her. You have truly crafted something that becomes more than just written words. Despite the fact that Tolkien would roll over in his grave at the idea of male on male action, he would have to admit that the art that you use in crafting a tale in great.

Dearest Esteliel,
First and foremost, please allow me the honor of getting to my knees before you to show you my respect for your amazing, undeniable talent. Not only did you manage to oh-so-perfectly capture the general "air" and "atmosphere" of the Elves and...well, LOTR in general, but you have also done something more beautiful than that. Your portrayal of Legolas' character in a situation like this.
Please do not heed anything that that..."Avidreader" told you. First of all, it seems that that person has nothing better to do than to go around, putting writers down. I received a not-too-friendly review on one of my stories on ff(dot)net from someone with the exact same penname. Coincidence? I think not...especially not with the way s/he wrote their review, making it sound like constructive criticism when it is blatant bashing.
That aside, I hail you for the wonderful way you've paced yourself out on this. Starting with the very first part and up to the 68th chapter, everything seems to be going at a wonderful pace...I usually get so BORED with long fictions, but truly, Anestel is an exception to that habit of mine. You...made it perfect. What more can I say, oh great Esteliel...?
Keep up the wonderful work...I am hooked onto this...I started reading the first part a day ago, I haven't been able to do anything else but continue reading this wonderful fanfiction.
And by the way, I gave my elder sister quite a scare, when I was reading that part when Legolas and Gilrion were out under Hadlir's protection, in the market...and those...those ABOMINATIONS almost cut his pretty golden hair... I really thought they were gonna do it and I went running all over the house like a mad person, yelling curses...
Let's just say it scared the crap out of the other occupant of the house, lulz...
Anyway, I am waiting patiently ::is lying:: for the next update...keep it going, you define everything a great writer should be!

This is an amazing, simply amazing piece of work! I started with the Anestel, and I have barely been able to leave my laptop since! I love how wonderfully you have portrayed the characters and situations, as well as how wonderfully well written it is! I think you have an amazing storyline, and you have kept everything realistic,and to be honest, I can't stop reading! I was so excited that they were finally betrothed! Please keep writing and I can't wait to read the next bit!
