I love this chapter. I feared Legolas' brother would ruin the complacency that Legolas had seemed to finally find the night before by making him remember the rape but it seemed to end well. Will be watching...

It has been a long time since I reviewed one of your stories but I've been keeping up on this one all the same. I've been waiting for this confrontation since you first wrote about their intention to leave Imaldris. It was short but not disappointing. I was also kind of happy (in a odd sort of way) to hear Legolas call what happened to him "rape." That was exactly what it was.

It seemed like Legolas was trying to avoid the truth about what it had actually been and now is sort of coming to terms with it. I wonder though if Glorifindel has come to that conclusion too. Is he avoiding the actual events of the situation by telling himself that Legolas had been asking for it or dose he actually believe that their first time was entirely unforced?

What Glofindel did not understand is Legolas needed comfort that he could not give him. Legolas needed the comfort of a parent figure not a lover

That was satisfying. This chapter contained so many things I've been waiting for - for Legolas to meet up with his brother, for the inevitable confrontation and for Legolas to finally tell his family exactly what happened to him. I loved Glorfindel making the wreath of flowers for Legolas's hair, a reminder of the way Legolas looked the first time Glorfindel saw him. That imagery moved so naturally into Galuron's appearance and then Legolas recounting the rape and finally expressing his outrage. Very well done. I can't wait to find out what happens next. Are Glorfindel and Legolas going to have a long-overdue discussion about the rape? How much does Glorfindel know about Thranduil's treatment of Legolas? Will we find out why Thranduil treated Legolas that way? I have my own theories of course, as I'm sure everyone does. But only you can answer our questions! Please update soon.

An absolutely beautiful chapter where Legolas stood up for himself with a quiet dignity that shows how much he has matured. I can't wait for the next installment!

You kow what...Legolas needs some tenderness now. And he needs Glorfindel to finally see how hards it is for Leggy. And while I'm at it, Glorfindel should stop being an ass and act like a damned adult. *And* he should finally treat Leggy better. ***And*** he should let Leggy now hom much he care ! There ! Poor Leggy...Poor, poor, poor Leggy.
