Great chapter! I wasn't expecting one so soon but I'm not complaining!
Just one question though...how much time has passed by since Ellie left Rivendell?

I really enjoyed reading this chapter! It was wonderful to see Doria and Orophin together at the party! I just finished chapter 15, I was not able to finsh all the chapters last night even though I really wanted to. I had to get some sleep last night. Then I had to wait till I got home from work to read the rest. I have enjoyed this story far more than many books I have read lately and I have a lot of books ;) I am still amazed by the quality of this story, it even managed to bring a tear to my eyes on one occasion. You both write with such a depth of emotion that I find it hard to wait for the next chapter. Please continue and you will have my gratitude.

I cannot believe how late I stayed up to read this, since I have to be up very early to go to work. This story grabbed me and would not let go. It is the best Haldir sto hav have ever read. Your characterizations are vibrant and believable. You have a rich imagination and it shines through in your original characters. You write with style, humor and elegance. I eagerly anticipate updates. Keep up the excellent work and I look forward to reading more.

Your story is so wonderful and beautifully written! I went to check up on it at fanfiction.net, and I was shocked to see it not there. I went frantic and searched for it. I'm sorry they booted it off, I don't think it's as dirty as they claim it to be, or as some of the ones I have rea the there.

Wow, your story is wonderful! I started reading and just couldn't stop... And now I can't get it out of my mind :) I really like your character development and the degree of detailed elaboration of the characters. The reasonable pace of the plot development is great, I love to read a story that does not rush through the events, but describes them in detail. And I absolutely love the chapter length (the longer, the better ;)).
I think this is one of the best stories I have read so far - though it is more like a novel than a story :) I love it!
