Thank God the wait is over --- and it was definitely worth it! Where to begin?! So many great story lines going on. Its so different having the main characters speak so openly about their mutual attraction, but for E & H, it really works well. Another excellent chapter well written. I almost have to hold my breath, wondering how E will fare in the competition, what H will think about it, and why L is setting E up for failure. Or is he? I get the feeling he's using her to get to H. I'm probably wrong, but its a delicious story thread. And Rumil's mystery elleth --- can't wait to find out who she is. Wonderful update, and as always, you ladies top yourselves each time. Write on!

hey julie......im enjoying this story a lot its interesting to include other story lines as well with other characters......when are we going to get chapter 17?......looking forward to it....also when are elanor and haldir going to get lucky?..hehe

Many greetings to you both! I just finished reading chapter 16 and you have continued weaving your story with excellent skill! I loved seeing Haldir council Rumil on affairs of the heart! It showed how the brothers had interacted through the years together, building their relationship. Haldir might hve been the one with greater experience btu he always valued his brother's companionship and their feelings. There is truly a sense of give and take between all three of them. They might alwaalways agree, but they would not diminish each other's concerns because of their differing opinions. That was a major contrast in the scene with Doria and Lurien. Yes, they care for each other, and Lurien would never deliberately set out to hurt his sister but he would never allow his lfor for her to interfer with his plans. Unlike Haldir, Lurien might listen to what his sister has to say, but he would refuse to hear it. That is a pity, because he values her love but is so set on revenge that he cannot see that he could lose her and possibly Terwe over it. I have the feeling that Galadriel's vision is tied into several aspects of the situatuation; and that the archery contest, friendships, love affairs, and possibly Lothlorien's safety may all depend on whether Ln ren resolves his emnity with Haldir. I think that Lurien is a jackass. Please tell me he will get whats coming to him.. preferably not at the expense to the elves we know and love.

Its great to see Orophin has FINALLY lightened up, but now I"m wondering about Rumil. Who is he pining for? And i loved the part where he said he lives for sex, its as normal as breathing. *giggles* Somehow, I can imagine that scenario! LOL

Thanks for updating... I"ve been waiting so patiently and now, its time to go duke it out with a sentinel known as *Algebra*...*shutters* Even Haldir wouldnt stand against such a foe. LOL

I absolutely *love* Orophin and Doria in this. They are so ridiculously in love. :-D

And the scene with Haldir and Rumil was also excellent. ;-)
