OMG I just loved this so much! Such a beautiful balance of angst and love, sadness and hope! And a few nice touches of humour too! Thank you!

One of the best, by far, stories I have read here.
It is so gripping and touching I am in awe of it.
Legolas as sensitive yet strong is refreshing and as it should be and Aragorn is perfectly depicted as in the book. As is Gimli. What a wonderful job and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing it.

I have just finished your exceptional story and have to tell you that I have read many, many fanfiction stories over the years and not many of even the saddest ones have made me shed a tear. You have made me lose three within the last chapter. Such a wonderfully sad and heart-touching story so full of depth and emotional beauty is a very rare treat. You have a special gift indeed.
To find such a perfectly written story is a treat indeed. Your writing style is exceptional and so completely like the books that I found myself thinking: This is how Mr. Tolkien would have written the NC-17 slash version of the Lord of the Rings. All through this story I was in awe at how you've stayed so true to his writing style, and you are wonderfully articulate. Dialogue, descriptions of emotions, surroundings, and any other situations were so perfectly done that I didn't want this story to end.
The only word that comes to mind is – flawless.
Thank you for sharing this! I will definitely peruse your other stories as well.
Greetings from Dany

I have a terrible memory and I can't remember if I have reviewed your story yet. But don't worry, even though I'm becoming senile I still know a great story when I read it, and I loved yours. The writing was lovely, the plot entrancing, the words brought vivid images to mind. I will be looking for more stories from you in the future. Now I'm signing off to read Sea Longing.
Thanks, Larisse

I loved your story. Your writing style is beautiful and polished. Your words bring a vivid picture to mind, and deep emotions to the heart. Thank you for posting such a lovely tale. I only wish it hadn't kept me up so late at night reading all the way through to the end.

omhatshats soooo sad. i'm crying. jeez. i'm really crying. it really sucks to leave someone you love, especially when that person still loves you, but you're forced to part. *raises hand in personal experience* actually i'm unsure. i'm going through it now. i dont know how to spend my last few months with my boyfriend before he leaves. *sigh* guess we'll have goodbye sex too. sorry i'm rambling. anyway i loved the story and it was done so well. details and everything. *still cry i cant describe it, but if i had to use words...just...absolutaly amazing. well, byes now.

OMG this is bloody fucking good. I shall have to savour it piece by piece so as to wholely appreciate the flavour. But it seems to me that I have read this somewhere before, and if indeed I have, I shall have to curse you in the end, for the horrible yet beautiful ending.
