I found the meaning of Haldir at the Encyclopedia of Arda and it's Interpreted as 'Hidden Hero'. Hope that helps. Please continue with the excellent work :)

I love your story so far. It's thoughtful and well written.
I believe that 'Haldir' means 'tall one.' Either I read that somewhere a while back or I translated it myself. Don't remember, as it was several years ago.

Lovely, so sweet. Fantastic and phew just baby kicking ;) hope all okey now. jeez bet C getting a bit frustracted with not bealloallowed to do anything except grow I guess.
