This is just beautiful. The story is so well thought out, and your writing flows so nicely. The old "modern woman falls into Middle Earth" scenario has been given new life! I love where you're going with this story, and I can't wait to read more!

Hi! I like the story so far. Makes me intreaged (sp?) to find out more about the D'ini. Poor Jordan, going into blood poisoning, having wounds cauterised, and having broken ribs (cracked ribs are retched enough!). *shudders* Nasty! How many modern people folk could survive the same without antibiotics and hospitals?
Oh, about the ability to farspeak or bespeak (telepathy comunicate with) someone. Not only the Elves are gifted with the ability, many humans have it as well. I do, my father does (I've had him yell at me from about 200 miles away and let me know what he wants from the grocery store at 20, man, he has range...*chuckles*) and several people I know have it as well... And I am human, well, last time I checked anyhow... At least in this life anyhow ;)

I am so glad she finally made it... he was so dedicated to her it was almost heartbreaking seeing him panicked when he realized that she wouldn't make the night.
Lovely update! :)

Wow! An update at last! It was tremendous! I especially liked the fact that she is a doctor because it gives her a sense of independence and awareness. 20 Lashings?!? Damn, I was freakin' out there for a moment.
Thumbs up! Keep it coming!

Very nice update! Tender and touching... I can't wait to see what will happen when she wakes up, provided she will survive her wounds... great work!

I was waiting for your update! I totally love your story. It's very interesting, original, nothing like any other LOTR fic I've ever read! I am not familiar with Myst, but your writing was so descriptive and helpful that I really enjoyed it! You developed Jordan's character with quite a mastery that it was difficult for me not to feel for, or even connect with her. It was a pleasure reading it and I can't wait for more. :)

This is certainly one of the more unique idea's I have EVER seen for a Lord of the Rings fanfiction.
I really love your whole back story (yaa! schroedenger's cat theory! or however you spell that guys name...), I personally think you did a very thorough job of explaining everything without going too over bored on it (some of your descriptions WERE a bit too wordy but meh, who cares, it doesn't hurt the writting).
I especialy love your idea behind the linking books. Its just all...wow...just wow.
VERY well written, very well explained. The only thing I can really critize is that the whole half-D'ni thing (its the ONLY marker I saw of a mary sue on her), but meh you can't have it all.
I can't even say that her past marks her as a mary-sue because: 1- it is compeletly plausible ; 2-you explained it in a realistic manner, not the whole 'omg! like, my life is so totaly horrible that I want something better and I want this guy with these looks and blah blah blah' You get the idea. Anyways, you made it sound believable and easy for people to genuinly relate to it outside of the usual teenage ansgt riddled mind.
Kudos to writting such a wonderful fan fic for people like me to enjoy and I look forward to seeing more of it; I raise my glass to you.

I really, really like your story! It's very different from what's usually around. I'm not actually familiar with the Myst game, but I've heard of it (some basic stuff), because my BETA got that feeling of vast stillness and absence of life in some scenes I wrote with empty cities and places in one of my stories. So she explained the main idea of it, but reading your story, I must admit that I feel as if I've been playing the game for years! So congratulations for making sure that, even readers without knowledge of the game, can still enjoy the story.

Other than that, I truly liked the way you managed to blend LOTR and the Myst game, with Tolkien being a member of the Guild of Writers etc. Very creative story, I love it when such wonderful crossovers come up! You've managed to blend all the elements in a truly interested story.

I hope you will update soon! I'm really curious to see where this is going!
