I love this story!!! I love the way you represent Middle Earth and that you don't try to transfer our modern values into that world like other authors try to. Please keep writing!!!!

Oh poor Legolas and poor Jordan, you are really wringiing our hearts here with this story. I am so glad Este turned up to talk to Jordan and disabled the book. Oh Legloas why didn't you wake her up? What's going to happen now with him away on a dangerous mission for so long? Desperate to read more.

Awe hunny I know how you feel with the sick over the holidays stuff. Two of my kids ened up in there back to back, got them out my hubby went in with a heart attack got him home then I went in. Hopefully everyone is feeling much better. I loved the new chapter. Im anxiously awaiting the next. Keep up the good work.

Lovely surprise to get a new chapter for the new year. Hope your mum is OK now. Great writing. I like a bit of angst and lovely image of Legolas half naked in his quaters reading a book hair unbound. I do hope they can get their problems between them sorted soon. Please post more quickly. I love this story.

Poor Jordan. Things just ain't going her way. I did a little cheer when I saw your update in my inbox the other day. I just wish I didn't have to wait another month. I go back and read the whole thing as a way to console myself as I wait. At least, you're consistent with your updates. Sometimes I read a story that I start to really love, and the author up and abandons it! Please promise you won't do that!
I must say that I'm a little puzzled as to Jordan's despair over her lack of virginity. I suppose that it's my modernistic post-feminist view of sex and the female's right to pursue it under the right circumstances, married or not. It's not right for everybody, and I suppose that if she felt she did something wrong by having premarital sex, then it's a personal feeling, but I can't help but think she shouldn't be so hard on herself.
I understand that compared to Legolas (I'm not sure how old he is in this fic, since his age is not specified in the books) she feels awkward about the subject since his people (both the male and female) wait until marriage, since the act alone marries a couple. They're very stalwart about it, and not as easily ruled by their passions as humans are. But feeling impure...well, I guess that's just me. I don't like the idea that having sex makes one "impure". It's a natural act that humans are hard wired for, and though we should be discerning when it comes to sex, there's nothing wrong with it. It's even okay to make a mistake.
Sorry about the diatribe, your story is indeed wonderful, and I gobble up each chapter as they come. That's just something that has felt a little "off" in my mind since Jordan learned of Legolas' sexual status. Keep writing, it's lovely, and I can't wait for the next installment!

I am sighing in despair that I will have to wait a whole month for a continuation of this marvelous story. You have written a heart wrenching chapter, and I can only guess at what may come next. Argh! Cliffhangers! I've written them myself, but I know what the outcome is. Alas, I cannot know what you plan until you write it and post it.
