Hi there! Can't remember if I ever left a comment here. I followed you over from ao3. I really enjoyed the whole world you created with Sauron and Maglor and your different fics. Your storytelling is amazing. You are very skilled in describing the psychological impacts on your characters. Anyway, just wanted to say thank you.

Okay so I should really have reviewed every chapter but I just kept reading. LOL I love this, I know it's dark and I shouldn't but I do. Meglor is so beautiful in his suffering and the fact that he thinks he deserves it just kills my heart. I really do hope you come back to this because if The Hook is sort of a oneshot of how this all ends (or somewhere in the middle of it even) I want to know how they get to that point. CL

I love this story! I enjoy the Silmarillion fanfiction. Maglor and Feanor are my two favorites. Sauron sounds interesting. It is not how I originally thought of Sauron. He seems all the more cruel for it.

Please keep writing, I look forward to your next chapter.

Chapter 1...

This is so beautifully written... Deep and complex. Enjoyable on so many levels.

What an exquisite gift to find so close to Christmas.

Wow Pip! that chapter was a lot deeper than I was expecting and I'm not totally sure I understood it all but I really did enjoy it. When is the next chapter due?

Punishing Maglor with pleasure - only Sauron would think of that (I assume he is dictating this to you lol) You write so beautifully - it is like being in a dream and waking at the end of the chapter. Loved it Hugs Binky x

Read both chapters.

That was something.

It was so descriptive I could feel the dark and feel the slipping of his mind. Angsty, sad...it makes me feel sort of uneasy.

Making readers feel, you got that down! Stories like this are the hardest thing to review, when it's written this well. At least for me. But give me credit for trying, okay?

I guess I want Maglor to be rescued, but that doesn't seem likely. I like this very much and if you write more, I'll definitely read it.

Thanks, pippychick, for posting this. You are an excellent writer.

“I promise I will take my time with you.”

That almost made him seem nice. And that light. That was really something. There is some light needed for you to be able to see all the darkness.
