Hello there,

So I recently f nod your story and fell completely in love with it. You're an excellent writer and the take you have on Elrond is amazingly creative. My favorite bits are with Legolas because he's a cute little newbie.

You have inspired me so much that I started making some sketches featuring what I imagine Elrond and the others would look like. The first one is with Elrond and Oropher and you can view it here if you like : https://www.flickr.com/photos/129917212@N04/sets/72157650704514400/ it's nothing good or particularly special I just thought I would share how you inspired me.

Thanks for all the great writing. I'm looking forward to the rest.

Be well,

Carmen

I'm reading this and I'm just entirely swept away by this story. Elrond is completely compelling, and I find my breath taken away over and over again. But I had to stop and review because right here, in Chapter Nine, this line:

"When he came up he was still alone, and he couldn’t be sure if he was crying, because the water too ran down his face like tears."

That is just perfect. I'm in awe, and green with envy.

Now, back to reading!

So, I've made it to the end, and I'm entirely bewitched. Elrond is so vivid, perfect in his roles as warrior, healer, lover, and even teacher. While his grief for Oropher is still so powerful, so is his love for Thranduil and Nimbrethil, for Legolas, and for Celebrian. This last chapter, Chapter 21, was one of the most moving and magnificent celebrations of love, but you've left me entirely curious about that one dramatic episode that ended Elrond's visits to the Greenwood.

Gorgeous, dark and yet sublimely erotic. I'll wait eagerly for an update.

Wow, just found your story. It's rather well written and, I have to say, even a possibly "realistic" view of the history of these characters. Love it!

TBC... three of the most precious letters reading your story about Elrond. I've read all chapters in one go - and I'm pining for more.... Thanks for sharing your version of the lord of Imladris.

Could I politely remind you, dear Pippychick, that it is a month now... and I am pining!!! Really missing this beautifully written, tender and passionate piece with all those gorgeous characters.

What is so charming about this is that there is so much room for love. Celebrian has room enough for Haldir and makes room for Thranduil, and understands his love for Oropher- that line is beautiful 'Here you are, come to see me, with the touch of the King and the Queen all over your soul as if it could cover the loss of Oropher, whom you loved for the longest.' This is such mature and sophisticated characterisation- you make Elrond vulnerable without being needy. Gorgeous.

Haha! I have just found that you have posted so many more chapters n this site than LOTR so I can spoil myself with drooling over Legolas and Elrond (got to be one of my favourite pairings) but this site is not very good for reviews soI will try to review more chapters on this one. I can hardly wait to read it now.

Defintely enjpying htis- I loved it that Legolas giggled when they were discovered. The relationship is changing very quickly now- Oropher seems more in Elrond's mind, and Legolas in reality and Thranduil is there like a threat, or a forlorn lover... interesting and unusual. Love the qulaity of this - so richly written and complex.

More and more complex are elrond's feelings - and this is becming a real love story- although it always was, wasn't it? But now it's Legolas who is there and Elrond draws back from the endearments ot him, yet did not from Oropher- whom I thnk is his real love, and Thradnuil who is his master. It will be intersting to see what Legolas becomes to him.
