I always love having a chapter of this story to read before bed time. This one was a bit sad, to learn of Thranduil's need but also it made me happy to know that he loves Legolas so much and hopeful that he will express that love to let him know how important he is to him. What a good thing that Elrond showed up when he did, Thranduil needs... something and I can't wait to read that something in the next chapter. Good job once again! CL

Beautifully done, just superb. Elrond's happiness in the beginning of the chapter is the sweet counterpart to the sharpness of the sorrow that waited for him in the Greenwood. As strong as he is, Legolas does need that closure Thranduil isn't ready to give, and Thranduil needs to come to terms with his love for legolas in balance with his need not to lose another elf his loves. Even if it means taking Thraduil to the edge, I think only Elrond could give this release, and relief, to Thranduil. I have to admit, I'm eager to see how far our Peredhil has come, and where Legolas will fit in this particular bit of healing. So beautifully done...

Oh, that Legolas is just a naughty little boy, isn't he? Leaving a mark that he knew would get poor Elrond into trouble. I love the dominant playful side of him that you've written, I think I may be in love... Now on the other hand that spanking that Elrond got for punishment was seriously yummy. Spankings administered bare handed while over the lap are my favorite kind so you got my number on that one. Can't wait for more now that I'm caught up. CL

That was exquisite. I'm actually trembling almost as much as Elrond, I think. Thranduil is such a powerful Master, having learned so well from Nimbrethil, and it amazes me every time Elrond succumbs so beautifully. There is something compelling in his surrender, I confess, even more so than when Thranduil surrendered to him. I did so love that very last bit, however. What a perfectly Elrond response. Delightful, and I cannot wait to see what comes next!

Okay, I feel so bad, I'm on chapter 28 and have yet to leave you a review. First, you've made me totally fall in love with Elrond. I hate that he lost his first love, that was so sad. I love Legolas in this and now I'm torn because I want Elrond to be with both him and Thurindil since Thurindil lost the love of his life too. But that would mean Incest and I'm not sure that's where you're going with this but if it is, I will gladly follow you into that sticky situation. :D Oh and I hate spiders! CL

I'll admit I wasn't quite expecting that, either, so I was as surprised as Elrond. I'll admit that Elrond no doubt had the advantage of me in terms of pleasure, though, and I am decidedly jealous, too. So many lessons to learn, and to be taught. It's a lovely journey, and I am eager to see what comes next.

What a lovely chapter this was! Celeborn has taught the teacher a lesson indeed, and even if Elrond will not remember all of it, he will at least know why Thranduil, and now Legolas, yearn for him so. I must say, I did enjoy Celeborn exercising his power, though: “Thranduil will make no further 'reports' to you about me, Elrond,” Celeborn said with infinite tolerance, but also some amusement. “Show kindness and do not ask him.” I cannot imagine not obeying that request, really. This sets the stage for what's to come beautifully!

Every chapter I read of this is better than the last. This chapter sang so sweetly of love, and healing, and the sweet joy of being reunited with a lover. The tryst in the rain was beyond beautiful to read, I could hear the drumming of the drops, and taste the wet air as I read, so wonderfully did you paint that picture. And then, that bittersweet confession, Thranduil waiting for something he believed would never be, just as Elrond waited long ago for Oropher, knowing Oropher would never return. Such sorrow, and I wonder if Elrond could truly let it go.

Gûr nîn glassui! That was sublime. There's really no other word for it. It was beautiful, and otherworldly, and just sublime. The love and trust between these two is beyond measure, and I feel like it's a gift to be allowed to glimpse their sessions. Thank you, so very much!

I am simply overwhelmed by this chapter. The trust between Elrond and Thranduil, the bond they have, it's truly magnificent. I cannot fathom how intense this is for them, although you portray it with utter grace and beauty. I was more than moved by Thranduil's simple confession of loving Celeborn. It was one of those gentle touches that so perfectly underscore the need in both Tranduil and in Elrond, and I'll wait for the next chapter with bated breath.
