I just have to say that the line "Before his wrist fell off." had me laughing out loud. Priceless. :) Now I've read the rest and I'm glad we had a bit of humor to start with. I hope this ends with a happy ending, I hate the sad ones.

poor 'fin... the whole screaming-bit was really good... drove home the point, i think.

And how is Glorfindel doing? Is he feeling responsible for his part in this? Is he bitter? Sad? Angry? Self-destructive?

I've read this from the beginning and it is wonderful. I hope that somewhere down the line that Glrofindel and Erestor get back together. I know it was bad for Corchvorn to do what he did but at least he is taking responsibility for his actions by marrying Erestor.
