The end of his bliss??? I dunno, dude - it hasn't been a very long... I hope that a happy ending will eventually find our poor tormented Woodelf. I know I've told you before, but I absolutely love your attention to detail and characterization, and you have me thoroughly hooked on the plot!! I was actually hoping that Elrond would realize his errors and truly come to love Legolas, bringing healing for them both (what's that saying about a painter neglects to paint his own house, a doctor neglects to heal himself? Well I was hoping that Elrond, who has such capacity to be gentle, wise, and sensitive to others would apply that both to himself and Legolas, and atone for his wrongs...) But I have to admit I'm also glad that you gave Legolas a partner - it was seeming like any happiness with Elrond would be a horribly long time in coming, lol!! I really can't wait for his sons to find out about his cruelty.. hehe, and his parents-in-law... I hope you do eventually redeem him. I'm such a sucker for happy endings. Anyhow, back to work for me! Thanks again for keeping updating this - your talent amazes me, and I can't wait to see where you take us next! (Trials? Lorien? Yee-haw!) :)

I fear I begin to repeat myself, but:
Makes me feel so fine, it's such a rush
Helps to relieve the mind, and it's good for us
I enjoyed their conversation. It made Legolas' sudden acceptance of Erestor more palatable to me, as I was rather keen on Legolas beating Erestor senseless before he spent his night of tethering passion. As always, am waiting impatiently for more.

Well, that certainly is a place to leave us hanging. I'd kick and scream if it I wasn't standing in awe over the talent it takes to do that. You have my congrads, this story is extremely well thought out and is very interesting. I'm waiting on baited breath to see how this all turns out.

I hate Meril, I despise her. She knows that the whole thing wasn't Legalos's fault but yet she lets him suffer, torments him. She's cruel and she says she does it to protect her son. If the truth came out her son wouldn't have suffer nearly as much as Legalos did. Thranduil needs to realize that he is Legalos's father when is that going to come out. I think that Meril only seems to care for power, she's the royal consort does that mean she is not the queen. I personally find her to be very manipulating adn so disgusting. She's needs to be horribly disfigured, i hate her. I hope she suffers later on, suffers a lot.

I don't have the heart to remove any of my reviews, either, so sometimes I will try to load the reviews page for Painful Memoirs and end up leaving it aly uny until it finally loads. But of course, by then someone else has reviewed, and the process must start again. Oh, I wouldn't blame Legolas for wanting to avoid Thranduil, but not having Thranduil as an enemy is relieving. See, now, I'm reading your story instead of writing mine, like I told myself I would do this morning. D'oh! So many questions yet to be answered. The plot is becoming very twisted. I imagine that by the end, I'll have to reread the whole novella just to understand it all! (Not that I'm complaining, mind you.) Great chapter, looking forward to more.

*Crossing my fingers* Ok, let's hope that this one makes it through. This may be the second, third, or fourth review from me, I don't know. I can't get your review page to load -- you have too many reviews! -- so I can't tell if my attempts at reviewing have gone through. Er, well, not too many, but enough to make the page stop loading before it gets to recent reviews. I digress, however. Wonderful chapter. I'm excited to see that Thranduil is outraged at Legolas' tormented childhood. I ry wiy wish he had flogged him, but I can see why he didn't. I rather like your Thranduil, even if he is a pompous ass. It seems like the truth is finally disseminating throughout the characters in the story, and this makes me worry over Legolas' fleeting peace of mind. Ah well. I like angst. Update soon (sooner than me, so I have an excuse to procrastinate writing, LOL).
