Awwwww, *sniffle* this was so sad but at the same time so sweet! I hope that the twins will come around on their stance of Legolas and look forward to the development of a deep friendship between Legolas and Imladris' new charge out of the compassion he has shown for the child here. Terrific fic thus far, hon!! Eagerly awaiting the next installment.

I think it's a good thing Legolas gets out of his room and into the world so quickly. And even though the twins are not very welcoming (well they do have their reasons, but still), at least Glorfindel and Erestor extended a warm welcome Legolas.
But I think that otherwise our Prince would be rehashing his doubts over and over again until he'd lose his self-respect again. Definitely not a good thing. I liked how Legolas, through the memories of his youth and the celebration of his majority, remembered that he is indeed Elrond's equal and a prince of Mirkwood first before being Elrond's spouse.

Oh, happy dance!
I'ts lovely to see the strong roles you've given to both Erestor and Glorfindel in this. I'm not a major fan of their pairing, but you have made me like them together as well as appreciate them as significant to the plot (I do looove Glorfindel though, and really like seeing him in lotr fiction;) There was quite a bit of excitement in this chapter. I adore how Legolas immediately gave his heart to Aragorn, as well as how Elrond responded to that gesture from his Husband. The only complaint I have is that it ended too soon. I just want it to go on and on and on and ... I'm going to tie you to your computer, yes that's it, no real life for you. Is that too harsh? See what a monster I've become over this;)
Bless you for another swift update. I looked forward to this all throughout my long day!

Erestor snarls?! Oh! How unelvenlike! And I fully expected it to be Elrond lecturing the twins on proper behaviour, but then maybe it's best he didn't, seeing that he is too emotionnally involved in my opinion.
As for little Aragorn, I think it won't be long before Legolas has convinced his husband that they should be the ones to raise the man-child. Maybe Aragorn's arrival will even bring the twins and Legolas closer to one another.

Owww, I'd die if anyone reacted to me that way. Such a hostile first greeting. Though I must applaud him for finding the courage to venture out so soon. I probably would've stayed sequestered in the room, heh.

You are quickly becoming my favorite person alive, thanks to such timely updates! I had to squee for a good minute before I could get down to reading it. Pathetic I know, but you have no idea how much this fic parallels my leg/elrond fantasies;) It's absolutley perfect! Legolas' renewed confidence, and Elladan's explosion. I also love how Glorfindel jumped up to request to see Legolas shoot his bow. Those two are going to find some common ground as warriors I know. Such drama and sweetness all rolled into one. I'm so anxious to see how Elrond grows to dote on Legolas' presence in his home (assuming that he does). Thank you again for this amazing story!

Four little words. Only four simple little words were enough to restore Legolas's self-respect. Poor elf, those months between hearing of his fate and prior to this moment must have been like hell to him. And even if Elrond doesn't bother with the 'romantic schtick', I like the fact that he takes his time with Legolas, trying to ease him and recognizes the sacrifice Legolas makes. As for Elrond leaving the room right after the binding took place, well I'm not too sure if that was the best thing for him to do; better get him back in there quickly before Legolas starts questioning his self-worth again. Anyway, just wanted to say: what a lovely chapter.
