Hey there! Me again! I posted as Arwen_Evenstar and I am writing to beg and plead for you to continue this tale. It doesn't matter what the purists think. This is fan fiction and you can experiment with anything you want. You're a great writer so don't let flames cow you. I use them for three purposes.

1: To roast marshmallows (yum)
2: To make smores with (Hell yeah)
3: To stoke the Fellowship's watch fire
4: To stoke the flames in the Hall of Fire

See? Pick one and continue writing. *hugs* You can do it.

I absolutely love this story! Sure, people are out of character, but that's the fun of it. Everybody loves to simply chuck the rules and make the good guys mean once in a while and you shouldn't listen to any flames that stop you from continuing or if they hurt you. It's your tale and you can really do whatever the hell you damned well please. Now, I mean no disrespect for Tolkien purests, since I'm usually one. However, playing around with AU is fun.
And yes, elves usualy fade after rape, but Arwen was warned not to and she's a princess. Perhaps she has the power to choose not to fade. She's strong and she won't be broken completely by Aragorn. Her body may be and even her pride, but she's got a fiery sperit and she's not easily broken. At least, she shouldn't be.
Please keep writing. I can't wait to read more!

hmmm Not really out of character given the circumstances. Being a hopeless romantic...I hope the two of them find a common ground and that he is the hope of that AU... I know rape isn't romance, I would like to see him find the real truth and make amends. I can dream
