I'm so happy! New postings, and the story just gets more and more intriguing. Yes, what is it about Erestor that makes for torment? As he is evolving in fan fiction, it seems he is not often meant for simple happiness. I've been working on an Erestor fic too that torments him some.
Your story is very satisfying. I beg you not to leave it unfinished, but I certainly understand why the pace must be slow.

i must tell you that i love this story overall, but by far i have found this chapter the most heart-rendingly poignant of all. so well done, i just want to break things to pieces the emotions are so strongly revealed here.

Just a quick note to let those who are reading know that I have not left this story!. I do volunteer work and since hurricane Katrina hit the gulf coast, we have been working non-stop to do what we can to help in the relief effort. We are just now finally slowing a bit, but I have fallen to a nasty summer cold and need to rest for a few days. I ask for both your pardon, and your patience. I *will* get back to it as soon as possible!.

Actually, I do hate to be kept hanging, but I couldn't resist checking into one of your stories I hadn't noticed before. Pul-eeeeze keep posting to it. I certainly hope you aren't leaving it where it is.
