Okay, i was reading this for a while, read the first couple of chapters, then got busy and didn't pick it up again until today. I will preface my remarks and say i just read the *latest* chapter, and have not gone back to read the ten or so i missed- but i will.

Here is my comment however on this last chapter. What is the deal with Thranduil? Here we have him lecturing his son about being a fickle brat, hurting people, toying with people and then rejecting them. He swears that things will change and Legolas will learn to behave himself and to respect others. Presumedly from all this we can assume that Thranduil is himself adhering to a higher standard of behavior. But then we see Thranduil going to visit Rumil to say goodbye, and we see him so easily rolling on his back (or belly) and giving in to the Galadhrim's sleazy seductions with no more thought than, “Yes, a few times. I rather enjoy it.” ???!!! Rumil, meanwhile, makes no bones about the fact he is really only interested in having Thranduil as a means of hurting Legolas and Haldir. What gives?

I suppose the answer must lie somewhere in the ten or so chapters i skipped. Somewhere in there is a sad recounting of Thranduil's painful battles with schizophrenia. I will have to read it to find out.

I think I'll remain blissfully unaware of what's going on, I think you lost we with your previous update already :p

Okay, now I'm confused... I thought Celeborn had the hots for Rumil?

have read this story from the beginning and what happened to the last chapter? the one where rumil is whipped? read it before the crash of the site and its been a week and still no update to it or the rest of the story. Hope you get it back and conclude this one.

Well...that was unexpected and and and....wow...

Never thought Haldir would do that with Legolas, especially because he's so angry with the prince for about to whipping Rumil...
