Great chapter, Sharon! Poor Haldir - what a sad thing to have him huddling under that tree in the rain. Poor baby! I'm glad they're taking them to Lorien's gardens - not that I have any sympathy for Celebrian, but I wouldn't want her parents or the twins to suffer because of her any more than they already are. Haldir. however, is another story all together - I think he was used by Celebrian. I hope he can heal and finally find happiness.

This chapter is so sad I actually cried. I feel so bad for Haldir and I even pity Celebrian. Can Elrond still petition the Valar to end the marriage if his wife is in the funny farm? Elrond is being so good and loving to all he really, really deserves some happiness. Thank you for this story.

I am sorry for Haldir, even though he did make this bed. His lover is clearly bonkers. I hope Elrond does his petition to the Valar soon now. Still loving this story.
