How does this Kalan manage to bypass all three of the elves' heightened senses? Don't they smell him or hear him even if they can't see him? Makes me worry for them. More please.

Wow. I am really sad. I can't believe Ashva died! at first I thought you were going to kill off Rumil. Or perhaps Atluf's death qualified as a "character death". Oh man, i'm sad. Did Ashva actually kill her mother or was it all for naught? I knew you said you were trying to finish the story but I had no idea it would be this abrupt! Now, when Ashva's spirot came to Haldir in his sleep and she said they would meet again, does that mean there will be a sequel...?

I am glad Haldir has found Ashva. Does her mother give lessons to people not in her family? I think I would like to know this skill in case I can find some elves. WEG More please.

I love it! Haldir actually admitted emotion! And I LOVED the way in which you put it! "I don't want to fall in love with you..." Excellent. I also like how you intersperse Kalan and Mother and the Os preparing for vengance; makes it spookier.

Don't worry - the angst isn't that bad. Good chapter - it made the story more full. Orophin really is quite naughty isn't he? I was a little confused by the last paragraph. Ashva caressed Haldir and not Orophin while they all slept together, right? I would be upset if I was Atluf as well. He genuinely loves Ashva whereas Haldir has feelings of possession for her but has never actually spoken about his real feelings for her. He's never even told her he cares for her - well, not in so many words. While it is obvious he cares deeply for her, that seems to be where it ends. Especially that comment in Chapter 26 about how Haldir only allows himself to be with his women until he discards them and then they are once again free game. It does seem, even though he doesn't seem to be able to admit it to himself, that he is slowly falling for her. He seems to have abandoned all his other women and be consumed with thoughts of Ashva. I love how independent she is; that she left even though she loved him because it was something she needed to do for herself- good move. Anyways, thanks for writing this story and thanks for the update.
