Poor Elrond - Thran must really be starting to worry about him now. And Mandos, poor Mandos and his crush on Glorfindle - is Mandos going to get a new partner too? like Algar has?

I loved that poor Elrond is now worrying Thran that he might be seeing things, but I'm also glad that they got the rocks out, because, as Glorfindel pointed out while trying to play Erestor (silly idea on his part), the ceiling could have caved in. And the idea that Legolas and Gildor are still up to mischief is great, and very silly.

DARK!!!! I've finally managed to catch up with this story!!! Whoot!!! *giggles* I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed reading all 12 chapters that I was behind on in one fell swoop! ;) I laughed through most of it, especially with talk of Elrond's tunic dress, lol. But the parts about what Glorduin's father did to him with the faded elf and, of course, Tordren's death (even though you'd talked to me about it just before you wrote it) made me cry. *sniffles* Great job, my friend!!! *hugs*

*hugs* I'm sorry to hear about the RL heck that's been going on, I hope that things clear up soon. Now, onto my review. I loved the reactions in this chapter, the characters, as always, were wonderful to hear from. I enjoyed how even as she was dealing with grief and trauma, Omeriel really stood on her own, as she always has in the past, she stayed true to herself. And I loved that Thoniel pounced on his mate, very funny and sensual.

Anyway - I really loved this chapter - it made me cry twice! will she marry her hero now? the guy that jumped through the window? or will she be in mourning over the loss of her healer-husband?

Oh wow... I really don't know what else to say... It was just so surprising to lose Torden that way, I really liked him. At least both Ormeriel and her daughter are all right. On a writing note, I am glad that you did not try to write the passing itself, I think in many ways it's more powerful to read it as those finding out as well. I liked that you also were still able to have a few snarky/funny lines from different characters in this, even with all of the stressful and sad elements.
