Very well written, full of angst and tenderness! You do the love triangle thing very, very well!

Hi. I don't have your e-mail so this is the only way I have to respond to your questions. The three can actually be anyone you like them to be. I left the background information deliberately vague just for that reason. The events to which our protagonist Elf alludes can be found in three other stories (at present) - Blessed by the Valar v.2, Will of the Valar, and Something Evil This Way Comes, all of which are on this website. I recommend the v.2 BbtV, as it has been "cleaned up". I would rather not give concrete identities for the characters because I like that anyone can make them whoever they like. It could be one of Thandronnen's sons, Eowyn and Glorfindel, if you like. However, people who follow my other series of stories would likely have recognized them. It was my way of having something for everyone. If you have further questions, please e-mail me: ecochran50@yahoo.com and I'll be glad to talk further. I adore getting feedback and frequently get e-mails on my stories. Thanks for taking the time to read my work and for reviewing it.

Oooh, me likey me likey! It was a little slow at the beginning, when he was describing his feelings for the woman, because it was slightly vague and happened long ago, and that sort of narration is always less exciting than narrating events happening at present. I think you could do with adding some more detail to the episodes you describe (rescuing her from abductors, when he thought she was dead) to show why he loves her.
I thought the actual romance/sex scene was very nicely done. It was passionate and loving without being smutty, and it wasnt drawn out for too long. I liked the way you made him feel guilty about committing adultery, and wonders about the judgement in the afterlife, but then it turns out he hasnt done anything wrong at all- or has he? Very nice twisty, mysterious ending, with the leaf etc.
Now one question. I cant remember if i've read your stories before, but who are these three??? I'm guessing the main elf is Haldir, and her husband perhaps Legolas. Whats the woman's name?

wooohhh!!! *speachless* good or bad. i dont know!!! i have such mixed feelings about this one. on one hand im glad that alex and legolas still have such a strong bond and love for each other, and on the other hand alex and orophin..... well, he finally got some. i mean its great that alex was able to pull 'phin back from death and they have that special bond that only few have. another thing that i felt was weird was that since alex's link with 'phin is a spirital, emotional, and mental link, how the leaf got in ithilien is off. the leaf is a great touch but it doesnt make sense with how it ended up in ithilien. and since they did join wouldnt legolas have felt it?

another thing. in "How he got there, he did not know. He now dwelt in Ithilien with his brothers and their friends," the "how he got there" was a bit confusing. did he mean how he got to lorien or how he found himself in perminant residency in ithilien?all in all i love this story.

update soon!!
