This was so beautiful to read. I love the passion and the drama, the love and loyalty and the heart and soul of this story. I love reading about Glorfindel, Erestor and Ecthelion. They make a sweet team. You have a great talent at simply diving in and exploring the emotional side of the characters. Loved it.

Um, no... you are confused, you are partly right, in that there was a man named Ecthelion, father of Denethor II. But quite obviously, this story includes Ecthelion the ELF. Here is a link you may find interesting, if not informative.

Hello, my name is Linda and i´m from Sweden. I have read the Lord Of The Ring books and watched all three movies. I want to ask something.
In this story, you write that Echtelion is an Elf. Well let me tell YOU something, Miss Fish. Echtelion is NOT an Elf, he is a Human just like me and you.
In the third Movie, Miss Fish. Gandalf says" Lord Denethor, son of Echtelion" Denethor isn´t an elf, is he Miss Fish? No, he is a human and that makes Echtelion a human too and NOT an elf, do you understand Miss Fish?
One more time, Echtelion is NOT an elf, but a human.

I must say, "WOW!" that is the sweetest thing I've ever read! I love it!
Everything is so well described, I mean, EVERYTHING! It is very emotional.
I have been crying and laughing while reading it, it is so good!
I had to restrain myself not to sob out loud not to wake my parrents lying in the room next to mine...! *blushing*
What a harsh life to live for eternity... think! If Glorfindel hadn't returned!! Poor poor Erestor!
But luckily he did, and he remembered!
You really have some skill!

Wow! Unbelievably well written. Descriptions, characterizations, emotions, all well done. Could have used a beta, but story was so good that it was easy to overlook the errors. Thank you for letting me into your world.

oh god...that was just gorgeous. simply wonderful, and that scene with Restor and the little elfling just made me love him more than i already do. it was wonderful. the whole story was wonderful.

Ah, at last, I find 20b. Why was it 20 b and not 21? Oh well, I care not. Thank you for this story. I was so frustrated when I first read it and realized that, to me, it was incomplete! Id di look, truly, and not just on that day, but a couple of days later as well.
For me, I am not a "twincest" fan, so I always find references to such "squicky," but for you, I can handle it.
