Damn, this is the kind of Haldir dream I have been waiting for ever since I started reading that story. :D BTW, I came across a beautiful drawing of Haldir a while ago and I was going to send it to you but I cannot finde the link again, sorry. It wasn't exactly movie Haldir (Craig Parker), but this Haldir was so very much like your story Haldir I am sure you would have loved it nonetheless: Beautiful, proud, with a touch of arrogance, strong, timeless, a little sad and a bit vulnerable. Very nice. :)

Oh this made me laugh out loud several times and I am still giggling. I know I probably shouldn't given the fact you are having such a hard time with the horny bastard, but it is still so very, very funny. ;)
I know have this image in my head of Haldir surfing the net and of this wonderful elf turning a light shade of smurf blue. That just totally cracked me up. :D
I hape he won't be hanging around in the corner sulking all day. But if he does he really has a point you know: It IS your story now after all and may I say I have been telling you for weeks. *g* It is you who controls him now and his fate is in your hands. So show him what you're made of and grab him by his elven ***, lol! ;)
P.S.: You may try putting on some Marvin Gaye again. That may lighten him up. Or try some Ray Charles. Just watching the movie, "Ray". Bloody brilliant. Haldir is going to love it. All about a guy who had twelve children in an out of marriage AND he could sing. :D
