Excellent story! Nice plot device with the courtesanship. I just hope Sarnglas is ordered to serve Glorfindel on his last night in Lorien. Its kind of painful to having Glorfindel under our noses all this time with only a handjob to show for it. ; )

Since this is my first review I will harp back to earlier chapters and comment on them as well. Hard to believe Thranduil would let his own son- a royal prince- accept a servile position. But then again... just who was Toress anyway? And what is the deal with Feanal, he seems a little damaged somehow, like not all of his experiences have as a courtestan have been so positive. One wonders why Galadriel mentioned she'd wished Haldir had chosen Legolas instead- is it because she realizes he needs a little extra care that Haldir in his obvious put-out mood is not up to giving?

Why was Legolas ordered not to see his lover anymore in Mirkwood- is it only because of his lack of discretion?

Questions, question! Hopefully there will be more explaination of how the courtesanship works- i suppose its different with each house, since Legolas was clearly told he is to serve Celeborn and Galadriel only unless commanded otherwise. Where back in Mirkwood the courtesans seemed to be available to quite a larger group of people. And having sex with a courtesan seems to be an acceptable exception for married people. It will be interesting to see how all this unfolds.

You probably guessed, but I liked this chapter *a lot*! I adore your Rúmil, it's great that he beat Haldir... now I just hope he doesn't lose to Legolas! *Would be highly irritated if he did!* ;D Hope he can help Haldir be nicer to Feanal.

You know, you missed me out a couple of chapters ago - do I get elves too?! LOL actually, I just want Rúmil... *grins*

I'm very worried about Feanal! And I hope Legolas beats Rumil at archery. It's all about rhythm and aim, it is. ;-)

Ey! A great chapter as always Ertia. I can't stop being amazed at how well you capture our dear elves in your writing. I really can see everything infront of me!

Hmmm... Well, I do not think the elves would be so impressed by little ol' me..with a name from sugar-sparkling-water? No no no. I think we'll have to throw that thought to the wolfs eh?
Although... If you'd throw in Glorfindel in the story with me... Nah. Forget it. ;-)

I'm very curious about how Legolas & Haldir will work out in the future.
And poor Feanal...! Being "owned" by such a gorgeous elf and not being ravished by him!! *awwww* It's hurts to think about it...

Good to get a little more Haldir along with some hints that our author may cough up some more info about what went wrong with the courtesans here before Legolas arrived. Loving this courtesan plot device. Sounds like good training for life.

This is by far one of the best LoTR stories I have come across on this website, and believe me, I've been reading them for quite some time!! I sincerely hope you mean to finish it, because I can hardly stand the waiting now and I've only just finished what you have so far. I hope that Legolas does something bad and gets punished (Yes, I'm mean like that) Keep up the excellent work!
