Great chapter, Ertia! I loved your vivid descriptions of the collar-soldering...and Legolas' feelings at leaving home as a servant. Well done, dear...oh, and sorry about distracting you with the twins and their...um...indiscretions on the shards...but think of me having to write wondering if Imladris would mind sparing a certain on-loan blonde courtesan for the weekend... :D

What a lusty story! I've been meaning to read it since first I saw it, but haven't had the chance yet. And what a great plot for unending sex scenes! I love it. What a sneaky way to convince Leggy to be a courtesan. And I love the humor.

I almost didn't read it, though, because of the het. Ew! Nasty het! But I'm glad I have. The idea of Legolas as a courtesan makes me wish I were rich, noble, an elf, and living in Lorien. :-) I guess that would be het scenes, though. ;-) If Legolas' penis becomes uncooperative again, I think I know how that can be handled (no pun intended.)

Haldir too?! Oh no, however will I cope! *Over-dramatic sigh* Actually, might as well grab Orophin while I'm at it and make a full set! :D

This was, in my opinion, your best chapter yet. This history and the customs you described were simply beautiful. It will be very interesting to see how Legolas copes with the reality of it!

Beautiful explanation. I actually watched a movie on courtesans once. Sounded like a very fine life, if you ask me.

I've seen this story on the list for a while not, but I didn't acutally bother to read it until today. I now really wish that I had read this earlier. I absolutely love it! I read striaght through to the end of chapter five, so now I'm going to beg and plead as prettily as I can for an update.

My only question is this:
Is "Toress" really "Erestor"? It seemed to me that all the letters fit, and Glorfindel/ Erestor is one of my most favorite pairings. I really hope it is!

I can't wait for your next chapter, and i really want to know what Legolas' courtesan name will be.
