Aaaaah, goodie!!! New lovely chapters! :) *does the happy dance* I will give you some nice long reviews for them later, as I am on the run and I certainly want to read and enjoy them in peace and quiet plus you deserve some nice, long reviews as always. :)

Just read you comments though at the beginning of chapter 10 and I can once again put your mind at ease, your little plot device was not contrived at all IMO. But you know what my first thought was, when I realized, what her vision was about? "Oh Haldir, you poor old bugger, you better enjoy your sex life while you are still alife enough to actually HAVE one!" ;) It was the second thought that came a bit later that said: "How tragic this is! He may be a horny bastard, but he is also in the midst of life and not without feelings - yet we already know his very end no matter what." As I said earlier, it really adds another bittersweet layer to this story.

OK, I am off dear, but I will certainly be back to read and review in length some time this weekend. For now I am just saying a BIG, BIG thank you for three new chapters to look forward too! Here, have some chocolate - chocolate and sensuality always go well together, lol!

LOL, I don't think there is a phrase in my native tongue that sounds quite as wonderful as "horny bastard"! :D And yes, I totally agree that Haldir IS one - and we cannot help ourselves but love him for it.

I find it hard to review without repeating myself once again, I am still totally in love with this story, the plot and the way you are writing the characters. Putting in a vision of Haldir's death (and I couldn't care less for once, that it was taken from the movie rather than the book) was a very clever thing to do. To the reader it really adds an enormous element of drama to the story. It is no longer a sweet "will they or will they not" and "if they will WHEN will they" ("duh!") story, there is now a bittersweet and sad element to it.

The moment she hugged him was really sweet as well and I also thought you described the moment and the tension well, in which she begs him to promise her to watch his back. You can suddenly feel the vibration between them of something much more than just sexual tension. Very well done!!! Again, I am so thoroughly enjoying this story and when I read the latest chapter, it is with a big smile.

Oh and last but not least: Yes, Haldir DOES deserve a good trashing! :D

This chapter was like an exquisite portion of mousse au chocolat - absolutely delicious. And it even has no calories, lol! Seriously, this chapter was a joy to read. You describe their feelings and emotions so well, but you also make sure you work with all the senses, not just sight and sound, but touch and sent as well. This is simply a wonderfully romantic as well as sensual story. Needless to say I enjoyed the little nurse-patient element, lol! And please don't make them come together too soon as the banter between is way too much fun to be ended too soon.

I would write more, but it is nearly 4am where I live and I am in the middle of watching the Golden Globe-Awards! ;) Keep up the fantastic work and update soon, have a great week!

I was kind of shocked when she defended him against the wolves...so, she obviously doesn't want him dead. And Haldir's reaction to her defending him was fantastic. Could it be that this incident will lead to him respecting, and admiring her in a deeper, truer way? I hope so. I really like that these two are slowly, but surely, becoming physically and emotionally attracted to each other.

You know, I just have to say that Haldir is one of the only beings that I can name whose arrogance is an actual turn-on. I love it! And the fact that he's 'playing it cool,' I think, is making her want him even more. Ha ha!

I loved the end of chapter 3. What a shocker! Now that's what I call a twist! I could just here the music going DA DA DA DUMMMMMMMM! LOL!!

Oh, I am sorry, I didn't realize your new story was up already! My god the end of chapter three was ever so priceless, what a way to end that one! Haldir is such a - dare I say it? - bastard and oh, how I love him for it. *g*

I am one happy camper to see you did go through with the sequel as promised. Great work so far, lady, now keep the updates coming! :)

Wonderful story so far! I hope that you continue it! I'm so glad that someone's paying more attention to Haldir - though I do love Legolas, there's just something about the 'March Warden' that is intruguing and irresistable! Keep it up! I'll be checking in on it!
