I have only recently discovered this story and so glad that I did. I have come back and re read it more than a few times. I adore Elladan and can see all the characteristics you describe in him. such devotion, patience and certainity that this is the right one for him. And yet to not have that certainity returned and thus doubt his own worth. That it led him ulimately to abandon all hope and turn to the contemplation of a mortal life was heart breaking and very real a reaction to what he saw as the hopelessness of the situation. His ability to rejoice at the happiness of others though did him such credit. Thankfully Glorfindel could eventually see passed the hurt of the past and embrace what was always being offered to him freely. I had to agree with Rumil, Elladan's love and heart deserved to be cherished. Again thank you and for the epilogue that fitted perfectly as just that, te completion of this chapter in their lives.

I congratulate to you because it has been a wonderful story like all those that you write. I am wishing to read the continuation...

Wow! I like this story. Good to see Glorfindel paired with Elladan.

This is amazing. I don't know how you do it.

Despite the restrictions placed on you by canon, as well as the additional constraint you place on yourself by always pairing Elrohir and Legolas, you somehow manage to tell a truly different story every time -- here vs. Hallowed Fate/Sacred Bond vs. G&I.

I can't wait to see how many more times you can pull it off.

This is an amazing tale!. The one thing I have always loved the most about your stories, is how deeply you delve into the emotional aspects of your characters. And this gem has proven to be a poignant and beautifully written piece. I await your next chapter eagerly!...

I so enjoyed that chapter! It makes sense now, that Glorfindel would feel the need to pull away with Elladan's quest so long and dangerous. I feel for Elladan though, the road to regaining Glory's trust is not going to be easy. Excellent as always Eresse.

Holy cow Eresse that chapter hits you in the gut! Poor Elladan, some much guilt and now to for Glory to walk away from him, fix it soon please!!!!

Ah, poor Elladan. I had almost hoped that Glorfindel HAD been unfaithful for his sake... I knew he would do something rash. Wonderful angst as always, and chock full of emotion. ^_^

I love your canon descriptions and how you work your plot around them, its truly a rich tale you weave. I loved Glory's last line "sigh" so romantic!
