Hello! It took me two days, but I just read through the entire story. I absolutely loved it! Your writing is fantastic and richly detailed. Your descriptions were through and a reader was never left wanting more. (except when it finally ended!!)
One thing I found really interesting was the parellels between your story and Jane Eyre. (Mr. Rochester is one of my absolute favorite literary characters and comparing him to Haldir is wonderful) I will assume it was intentional, but it was down seamlessly. It took me a while to see it and when I did, I was really happy. I also really liked the way you ended the story with connecting LOTR with the legends of King Arthur. To think that Merlin could be the son of Haldir, and actually 3/4 elf is fasinating. Normally making such connections are kind of cheesy and silly, but you did it with such an ease that it was very believable.
Anway, it was fantastic and is definitely one of the best fanfics I have ever read!!

I loved this story i used to read on aff.net years ago and stopped, but last week i decided to see if they still had LOTR fanfiction on here, specifically Haldir stories and i came across yous. Thank you for writing this. It is a very well written, intellectual and beautiful story, filled with drama, romance, action its just captivating and worth the read. again thank you for writing this, it is indeed one of the best fanfics I have ever read. i am now about to read more of your stories because i am hooked, if you know of any other haldir stories that you like please tell me because id love to read them aswell.

Wonderful story so far...all characters have great depth to their emotions. It makes the story seem even more real and you can really relate to them. Please keep this story going!

I love this Haldir angst. However, I would like him to be less of a blockhead and give in to Vaniel (since it's not me) because it seems to me she is going to be in serious danger soon. Please write more.

Wow, today your readers were in luck! a what an update! I love this story; it's so heartbreaking...sigh. i think Edowyn is icky. can't vaniel have a better human to play with?

I just read your whole story. I love it! And can't wait to find out what awaits in Gondor for our heroine!
