Awww, Min, your twins are always lovely, no matter who is on top. :) Though I *can* understand your own preferences. ;) A wonderful story and a wonderful gift. Thank you for writing it and thank Fim for sharing. Now I won't have to leave for my holidays without a twin fic from you. :)

I personally write Elladan as most often dominant because that is how *my* 'Dan behaves. My elves have personalities that it is nearly impossible to alter. I know- I have tried repeatedly! **grin**
Fim sees them a little differently, I think. While her Elladan is *socially* dominant- the most outgoing, headstrong, etc.- her Elrohir tends to be *sexually* dominant.

This is just lovely. What a nice Christmas present for everyone.
I have always wondered why fanfiction authors always seem to make Elladan the dominant, protective twin, just because he was born a few moments earlier. I guess it just seems natural that way. But it was interesting to see Elrohir think about his role and try to put a bit more equality in their relationship -- at least on the odd occasion.
I assume that this incident is meant to have happened sometime in the years before Princes Three. By the time the twins got involved with Legolas, Elladan seemed to be able to let go of his dominance occasionally -- at least with the two whom he trusted the most.
I hope you will soon post this story somewhere a bit more reliable than this site. I would hate to see its words get butchered or parts of it disappear into cyberspace.
