*stumbles into view straightening clothes* Oh, hi! Wow, Elven, you’ve been a very busy girl while I’ve been … away. Faramir just keeps getting darker and darker. Looks like Eomer has joined the party, too. I love your evil Denethor. Just what IS the evil at the top of the stairs? (Its okay, Sandra, my first thought was a vampire, too) Is “it” the reason Faramir & Eomer are behaving so “wonky?” I, too, really like the fact that you keep us guessing. :D
BTW, Boromir and I had out little *clears throat* “chat” and I gave him a piece of my mind, believe me, he’ll -- *Boromir walks up to Freya, and hands her Wee Willie* You forgot this when you rushed out this morning. Oh, and your blouse is on backwards. *B bows to the ladies, takes Freya by the hand and leads her away*

You know, for some reason I never even THOUGHT of MoS when I read this chapter, but you are probably right I guess. It must be my fixation with vampires that leaves me in confusion at the moment, lol!

Was that? Dare I guess...the MoS? *wicked grin* I can't describe how much I'm enjoying this story right now, but trust me, that's a good thing.
Alura had better not be as breakable as Valawen. SHe's a fighter, that Rohan one. And All of the men in this story (yes, ALL of them) need a good, swift kick in the nuts.
Ahem. Do continue. ;)

What the....?! Oh.my.god! I swear I didn't blink while reading this chapter. I may be somewhat confused (OK, a lot, then) with that misterious vampire creature in the tower room at the end (vampires in ME? mmmh...), but I am sure I will find out about him by the end, lol. I loved the fact Alura stood up against Denethor and Faramir despite everything, that is the kind of OC I like, still a fighter. But where is Boromir when you need him???
And since when do YOU write such nasty little cliffies, hmm?! ;) Please don't let us wait to long, I have NO clue as to where this story is going and as you now, that is one of the highest compliments I can give any of you. That creature was most certainly a surprise and now I simply have no idea what is going to happen next. Cannot wait to find out!
P.S.: After some thinking I came to realize why I liked this chapter so much: I think it is perhaps the first time that the evil, the dark site takes a physical form in your stories rather than being symbolized by the ring or the palantir, very interesting change which adds a whole new dimension to the story. As I said it will be interesting to see where you go from here.

Same here as in Beth's part of of the world, I was happy to have something very enjoyable to read only in my case it was this morning rather than last night, since I am in Europe and cannot possibly stay up until 6am to see you posting at last, lol!
GREAT chapter, I KNEW Eomer was up to no good! One of my other favourite authors recently referred to Haldir as a "horny bastard" in her story. I had to laugh this morning remembering that as I read chapter 13 and thinking: "Well, that is not three million light-years away from what Faramir and Eomer are." They may have their motives and all, but "horny bastards" they are as well. :D
Oh and Beth? I was LMAO regarding the BOBBIT METHOD! That was such a good one and it gave me this disturbed mental image of a union of Frosty and Elven OCs finally getting their revenge and going after our boys with a kitchen knife in hand - chasing them all the way to Mandos and back. :D Wouldn't that be a sight?! And yes, those girls need to learn some martial arts SOON, I agree. Wouldn't that be a treat? I can already see Faramir approaching Alura while she rubs her hands in anticipation and gives him her best Clint Eastwood impersonation with a low voice saying: "Come on, asshole, make my day!"
So far for evil plot bunnies, ladies. ;)

Me: *looks at Eomer incredulously, then cuffs him*
Eomer: Ow! Hey!
Me: You deserved it.
Eomer: *reminisces, smiling* Well yes, I suppose I did.
Me: *thwaps him again, harder*
Eomer: OW!
Whoa...I had no idea he was THAT corrupted....XD Poor Alura. She really needs to learn self defense, or at least learn the 'Bobbitt' method. Yeesh. *pets her* It's disturbingly fun to see how evil Faramir is in this story. Is is wrong of me to fantasize about how low he can actually stoop and still remain Faramir? O.o
Happy happy, had something enjoyable to read tonight! (And I finished Frosty's fic, too--it was great--but I cried, so don't tell her. Poor Valawen! *sniffles*)
