I was so excited to see an update on this story. it's easily one of the most unique stories about LOTR and I love the fact that you've given us a new perspective on Gamling. Can't wait for more.

Sorry i didn't comment last chapter. I liked it though but this one moved the story a bit more. Boy, does she have a head on her shoulder, what a character and i'm starting to like Eadignes more and more. i am still on the lookout for the following chapters and i can't wait. Thanks.

Great update Zee! I am pleased to hear that Eomer is finally going to be getting his fine ass home--politics be damned, he needs to get back to Rohan and take some of the burden off Gamling, Aefre, and the rest of the survivors/returnees. Very good job of describing the state of Rohan after the War, and how desperately they are going to need aid. Gondor better be damn generous after what Rohan sacrificed! But I don't think we'll have to worry with Aragorn and Faramir in charge. And I'm sure Imrahil will be eager to kick in his share, since a certain daughter of his looks to be making Rohan her permanent abode soon.

Gamling and Aefre were great as always. Gamling trying to sneak out her room unobtrusively the morning after and getting caught by those maids was very funny. Also liked the way Aefre stuck up for Eadingnes, and Eadignes' story about how the old healer's husband used to come to Blue Whale just for someone to talk to. I take it the wife did most of the talking in that marriage. Glad to hear that there *will* be wedding, and the kind Captain Jack and I both like, with drinks all around!

You are working on an Eomer/Lothiriel fic? That is so cool! I love E/L fics, especially if it's going to be set in this universe. I hope you post it here, if not, please let me know where you do post it so I can read it.

Hey Zee, hope you had a good christmas and new year, but i also hope you used your time productively to write the next installment of your amazing story! I thought we might get it as a little christmas pressie, but ive been checking my stocking every day and nothing has turned up yet- have i been a naughty girl this year? (Oh dear... maybe not the best question to ask!)
Please make my new year and update soon!

Aw, does Willan like Eadignes? That's so cute! I hope very much that she succeeds in her goal to become a healer, though it doesn't look like it's going to be easy.

Gamling and Aefre were wonderful as usual. Of course we'd rather read about them than about a bunch of elves!

Percoset makes you horny? You lucky thing. It puts me right to sleep!

Sorry I havent checked in for a while, but ive been keeping up with this story and i am just as much in love with it now as i was at the beginning. Another wonderful chapter, full of warmth and character and humour and SMUT! IN fact I liked this one even better than their first romp in the tent, i think because of your ability to blend the lyrical with the comical, humour with sensuousness- not to mention your flair for timing!
I'm so impressed that this is actually being read by Bruce himself, and of course he's enjoying it- it would be impossible not to! You deserve every accolade for this work, which never fails to delight me. I am green with envy ;)
